Chapter 778 - 776 Four Moons

As Rex approached the area where the last moon was. The last moon decided to look at the future with the person approaching.

It was not a good vision of what he was seeing. First, it was not nighttime. Second, the vision was not clear. Lastly, the last thing he could actually tell was Rex killing him.

"I will have to die before he can use me." The last moon thought.

He stepped out and saw Rex. His instincts cried for him to try and run. He knew that it was all too late for him.

"Can I come in?" Rex asked.

"Sure." The last moon replied and led Rex inside.

As the duo entered, Rex immediately felt something off with this moon. He took it as he already knew what was going to happen if he stayed around just a little too long.

"Hopefully it don't." Rex thought.

The duo sat down. The moon more nervous now than before.

"What brings aan of your stature here?" The moon asked.

"For a dungeon. I need one last Moon Champion to make it happen." He replied.

Inside the moon's house, it looked like a night sky with stars and a moon. The moon actually tried to foresee the future with the dungeon.

The person who dies in his vision was the Ancient Zuggurant.

"Weird." The moon said.

"What is it?" Rex asked.

"A Moon Champion has gone beyond his or her natural abilities. Gaining such strength to die in the dungeon. Their death was only because the doors shut erasing their presence." The moon spoke.

"Ancient Zuggurant." Rex spoke sadly.

The moon could not tell if Rex was truly sad or just trying to fake it. The Qi presence inside his house told him that this was true.

"Perhaps, he just needs to be with me longer so that I do not die." He thought.

For now, he decided to stick with Rex. Their partnership would lead to his death either through Rex or himself.

"Everyone is doomed to die at some point." He thought.

The more he thought about it. The worst feeling he got from actually sticking with Rex for too long.

"I'll change the course of that person's life. I'll die there instead of him." The moon thought.

With both men trying to see the outcome of the dungeon in different lights. Only Rex was willing to let his current emotion of killing the moon at the Stairway to lead him to the Godly Realm.

As Rex truly felt that this was going to be safe dungeon visit. He would only see the dumbness of the moon in front of him later.

"Worst case scenario, I will tie him to a chair and see if Peacock will hold him until I reach the Heavenlh Realm." Rex thought.

As the duo continued to do small talk. A growing feeling of run and do not look back came to the moon in a bad way.

"I cannot run from him. Two, he is truly overpowered right now with the Demon King of Annihilation form while being able to cultivate in the Mortal Realm." The moon thought.

The moon decided at that moment all hope was lost for him. He knew that by just looking into those runs and everything else. He was the ultimate evil.

"Well, now that our small talk is finished. What are you going to do with the moons once the dungeon is finished?" The moon asked.

"I have not yet decided what will happen. I guess the Beastmen Champion will take her spiders back to her home. As for the Ancient Zuggurant, who knows. That person is like a train with no end spot. As for the woman across, it depends on her. The same for you."

The moon knew what the issue was going to be. He decided to just let the cards roll as he could.

"Very well. I hope this is both a good time and journey with you." The moon said.

The duo shook hands. The moon champion felt his existence inside of Rex's hands. There would be no way out unless he killed himself some way.

Meanwhile

"Do you think that he would heal my leg?" The First Generation Moon Champion asked.

"Once he is ready for it." Violet replied.

She felt horrid at the fact that someone could be nasty like him yet have compassion of a Mortal Person like everyone else.

"How is that possible to achieve?" She asked.

Violet looked at the Moon Champion side ways.

"How can someone like him be ruthless and have so much compassion at the same time?" She asked.

"You know of the Shadow People correct?" Violet asked.

"Yeah. They are a race that wants to invade the Nine Realms." She replied.

"Good. He already had to face them. As a Mortal Person, he could do nothing against them. As a Demon who holds the title of Demon King of Annihilation, he was fully able to battle against them.

His current goal is to become strong enough so that he does not have to face them alone. He could face against such evil with the Demon King of Annihilation but he hates that he always has to rely on that without exception.

Any person who helps him. He will show compassion to and help them because that is helping himself in the War. Any person who wants to hold grudges and fight against him. He will show no mercy to them and allow their bodies to lay by the side as he does not need humanoids battling against each other but become united."

Those words hit the First Generation Moon Champion. He decided to tell Violet her name.

"Well, my name is Morrigan. When I was born, my father was killed and my mother imprisoned and killed herself. So the people around me called me that. So when the time to learn my last name came around. I forsake it and just went around as Morrigan."

Violet was happy to hear that. This would become the first steps to a great relationship between the two.
