Chapter 817 - 815 Ending the Fight

Aina went forth with her hand. The other seemed to like that Aina was purposefully allowing the fight to end. Before the handshake could happen, a smack resounded.

"I will only allow this to end in a draw if neither one of can stand or fall after one direct hit. I do not care if it is a physical hit or a Qi hit. It cannot be a flowing attack nor a two step attack. A singular attack that can either punish or directly hit." Aina spoke.

Iris was mad. She did not want to attack but now. Her fury was fully upgraded to vengeful wrath for smacking her hand away. She did not pay any attention to what Aina said.

"Iris." Rex called out.

Iris seemed to calm down for Rex. That did not mean her vengeful wrath had gone away.

"Use a single attack and not a flowing attack. Make sure that it can do enough damage to keep her down and not kill her." Rex spoke.

This made Iris a little calmer. It was not a direct confrontation but a way to test each other out. Her vengeful wrath still wanted to unlease a massive dragon to her.

"Take my Technique in training: Water Qi: Flowing Dragon Bite"

Immediately in the arena, a huge amount of Water Qi appeared. It slowly transformed into a single water dragon.

"Watatsumi Bite"

The water dragon rushed at Aina. The massive water dragon forced its way forward even draining Iris completely of Qi. Aina took this chance to reveal her technique.

"Water Qi: Flowing River of Death"

Instantly, the arena was filled with the smell of dead animals. Large, small, mainland, or aquatic the stench from all of animals was enough to knock out both women. The spectators all felt their blood leave themselves and try to find better homes.

Rex was the only one not mentally affected by the smell. He was physically affected seeing both women fall and the attacks did not stop.

A single punch destroyed the attacks and caused a minor earthquake in the Eighth Realm. As the women laid there unconscious, Rex was able to grab both of them and carry them out.

No one was able to bid thanks to the arena holders. Now that Aina was buying them. Her father could regulate the arenas better for a more stable income for her sisters.

It was not that he was poor or needed funding for any of the children. She wanted to make sure that the future generations could life peacefully if they so wished.

By the time, the trio exited the underground arena. Rex had appeared inside the temple where he studied the Soul Arts. He decided to study for a year before heading to the Ninth Realm. He decided this for two reasons.

First, he needed to be able to use his Qi more efficiently. He was not the most efficient but he could use the training to ensure that nothing is truly wasted. He would gain more upfront stronger battles than just people weaving Qi attacks and strength at him and this was what he needed.

Second, the temple itself stands a memory that he always cherished. He knew from the moment he restarted his journey. He would enter in and train just like the first time. There was so much more that he could do now than before so it would benefit not only him but his women as well.

"Time to return." Rex spoke softly.

By the time he got to the main entrance. Six guards stood up front. Their demeanor strong and unmoving. The calmness in their eyes proved that there was no trouble even getting close to them.

"Thank you Oceanus, Hyperion, Rhea, Theia, Gaia, and Kronos. Your unmoving bodies allow many to train. Your hearts are evil but your bodies demand the greatness of the temple. Such is the state of the former great leaders.

Your fight is just beginning. Soon, there will be War entering the Nine Realms. You six will have to defend the temple with all of your might to ensure that those who are training will succeed. If anyone of you fail, the temple is doomed.

I wish I could be here. My battles will be in the Ninth Realm where the strongest will enter and force the great battle to either end or stall until the enemy is weak enough to die.

As much as you six would do me a proud stand against them. The point as already been made. So, I Rex, plan to train here as well. Not only to ensure that you six will not fail but strengthen you as well in hopes that nothing will be forgotten." Rex told the six guards.

They all nodded to him. Their nods just a simple nod only came from the body movement but it was too strong of a will to reject such a kind motivator like Rex.

As the trio continue, the duo seemed pretty intent and hugging Rex as he carried them. He rolled his eyes and continued forward. He knew how special it was to have the duo actually being kind to each other now. He did not know how long they could actually stay once he entered the temple.

"I know they never did allow me to leave. It may be different now or we all simply train to ensure that we can use the Soul Arts." Rex thought.

His thoughts drifted to all of the women who could enter. Lilith, Iris, Amber, Margaret, Liz, Violet, Aina, Fenggo, Bella, and Morrigan. He wished more could. It would be extremely hard to get the rest and worst it would take too long to get all of his women together to enter this sacred temple.

"Allow us to be in good spirits as we enter the temple." Rex thought stepping into the Oracle's house.

Once inside, Rex put the two women into the same bed. An instant frown appeared on their faces.

"Rest now. For the time to train will come soon." Rex told them.

The duo seemed to roll their eyes and go to sleep.
