My Scheming Little Devil-Chapter 2044: Make Her Drop Out
"This woman is so annoying, such an eyesore. So many classmates died in that bloodbath, why didn’t she?"
The sharp and bitter insults echoed incessantly in Yiyi’s ears.
To say she wasn’t angry or frustrated would be a lie; she wished she could slap those people’s mouths shut. But Yiyi understood that her current situation was difficult, and she couldn’t act on impulse. She had to endure, no matter how disgusting it was to her!
So, she treated everything as noise, turning a deaf ear.
Some classmates mocked her a few times, but seeing that she was immune and unresponsive, merely going about her own business and completely ignoring their sharp words, they felt it was pointless and gradually dispersed.
However, some were not so easy to deal with; verbal jabs couldn’t shake Yiyi, so they resorted to continuous petty tricks.

"Principal, what should we do? Many students and parents have come to complain, demanding that Yiyi be expelled." The director of the academic affairs office was also quite troubled, having received numerous letters of protest.
The principal, who was writing a report at his desk, didn’t look up and wasn’t particularly surprised.
"It’s not surprising they would react this way. At first, there will definitely be conflicts, but things will gradually return to normal."
"But her identity is too special. Her father is the Queen’s Party’s top favorite, and he’s on TV every day attacking the Councilman. The people of the Councilman Party hate him, so his daughter is also hated by association. Taking in such a student with a special, controversial identity doesn’t reflect well on our school. Many parents have complaints, thinking we’re harboring the enemy’s child!"
The director of the academic affairs office thought for a moment and suggested.
"She’s frequently attacked and ostracized at school. Why not advise her to voluntarily withdraw on the grounds of protecting her safety? This would be reasonable and wouldn’t affect our reputation."
The principal finally looked up, glancing at him indifferently.
"What do you think of this Yiyi, apart from her sensitive identity?"
The director was a bit surprised. After considering it, he cautiously said.
"Though she was a parachuted student, her grades are still decent, but only in the top fifty. For our school, letting her withdraw wouldn’t be much of a loss..."
The principal interrupted him, "You’re wrong. Many transfer students usually experience grade fluctuations, finding it hard to adjust in unfamiliar environments which can lead to declines. But her progress has been remarkably fast; her grades aren’t just in the top fifty. She started out in the middle to lower hundreds of the entire grade and quickly rose to the top fifty. Her rate of improvement is astonishing."
"That’s true, but that was before the situation changed. When she could study quietly at school, her grades improved naturally. In this current environment, she’ll definitely be greatly affected, and she may not be able to handle it psychologically, leading to a decline in her grades," argued the director.
"Decline? I don’t think so." The principal of Xingchen Middle School showed an appreciative smile, "At this age, teenagers are usually impulsive and immature, lacking strong psychological resilience. Even a mature person might not withstand the pressure as she does. Yet, she unexpectedly remains composed and calmly handles the hostility around her, maintaining her dignity undisturbed. Moreover, she has great courage. Knowing that so many students in the school target and are hostile to her, she fearlessly continues to attend classes daily. Just for this bravery and spirit, I don’t believe her academics will be affected. On the contrary, I believe this will compel her to work harder to prove her abilities!"
