Standing just far enough away from everyone else that I could ensure I wasn’t bothering them, I looked back down over the patchwork landscape before turning back to the city, just marveling in it for a little while longer.

As I did so, I also had to ask "Cali, these doors that have a limit of four people... these trials created by someone with Time Magic and likely Space Magic as well... You can’t enter them with me, now can you?", waiting for the Arch Fiend to appear and answer my question while I enjoyed the view.

I left everything that happened before in the past - for now, anyways - and instead focused on just the here and now considering all of the crazy things we were about to get wrapped up in; there just wasn’t time to start berating her for her actions just yet, and we definitely had more pressing matters at hand.

"Even just thinking about attempting to circumvent whatever failsafes and protections these people might have put on those trials is enough to give me the shakes. Time and Space Magic aren’t things to play around with, Kat, the same way Lust Magic isn’t something to use whenever and however you please."

She appeared right in front of me and flashed me a smile as she hovered in the air lazily, taking the same pose as always, though this time she stayed in sight and kept a bit of distance between us, giving me that courtesy as a sort of apology... and likely because all of her snakes were staring at her still.

Some occasionally poked out towards me and hissed gently, but most of them were just staring at her silently, something that clearly bothered her a little considering her eyes flicked towards them at random.

"Time and Space are completely different domains of power compared to everything else. They’re conceptual and far more potent than you can even believe; the highest expectations you have about them is dwarfed by the reality they can warp at will. So the answer is now, Kat, I don’t think I’ll be joining you in any of these trials, unless you wish to take on a trial that requires two people and take me with you."

There was no expectation in her eyes, so when I shook my head she just shrugged and said "That’s fine with me. I’ll just enjoy my time out here exploring this place; it is quite the fascinating area, and I can get a feel for just how it changes whenever people aren’t looking. If I can get a map created, at least some kind of understanding of how it shifts, maybe you all can get even more out of this than you initially planned."

Just like that it was somewhat clear that she also wanted to move past her earlier transgressions and how they had slightly soured the relationship between us, though she was still the same old Cali as she added "And maybe I can find a nice, cozy place for you to get your brains railed out~!" before disappearing in a cloud of pink smoke.

"Now that... that’s unexpected. What in the hell is this?"

Looking up into the air, I raised a brow as I took in something that just seemed... impossible; an island drifting not amongst water, but amongst the clouds, chained down to the ground like it was liable to float away.

How an entire island was capable of being hoisted into the air without being a calamitous existence that might wipe out a large portion of the Labyrinthian if it ever fell, and yet... all of this mana pulsing out of the ground like blood from a wound was keeping it afloat with ease.

"It is indeed~! Wonder what’s up there? Think it’s something fun~?"

Prum threw herself against my back and peppered my cheek in kisses, the Arch Fiend showing me some of her ’love’ now that we had grown ever closer during this adventure in the Labyrinthian; far too many situations arose that could have ended the lives of the three of us, so we had all become far more tightly knit...

Though Alya still feigned a dislike of Prum even if they were sometimes inseparable at night, the adorable green haired Elf proving to be even more of a fun fuck now that I could use that against her whenever I wanted to get her heated.

It was somewhat noticeable how much more of my mind had become occupied thinking about sex, and while that could have been distracting before it was more than welcome now as I felt a brief surge in pleasure and power from me just getting half erect.

Leaning into her body, I let out a content sigh before smirking at her when she let her hands roam around freely, loving how this Arch Fiend felt and relishing the power she gave me just like she relished me and the power I provided her.

"I think there is definitely~ something fun up there... so let’s climb on up and take a look. Maybe something that gives us some more power? At the very least..."

Rubbing against her own stiffening member, I groaned happily as her hand slid beneath my belt, the post euphoric glee from a good fight leading into a good fuck flooding my system as we looked up at that island, only for Ayla to pout at us both before she threw herself at my chest, squeezing me between both of them.

"We should go up there now!"

And yet, even as she ’demanded’ that, when I grabbed her and massaged her cheeks she melted instantly, letting me push her down as I decided that we would have sex before the climb, unaware that just above me the people I held such an unhealthy, yet much needed hatred for were exploring this same island.
