My Seven Wives in One Body and Me, her Manager-Chapter 111: New Naming
About two hours later at 9:00 AM, Dennis—who had pushed the coffee table and sofa to the back—sat cross-legged with his arms folded and his head down, eyes closed in his dark living room, lit only by a portable lamp. Sitting in front of him were the seven diverse Daisies, naked and looking out of breath with satisfied smiles on their faces after getting their turn for intimacy with Dennis all together. Dennis could see that aside from number one, or the primary Daisy, Daisies number two through seven were clones because of the small holographic screens indicating the time above their heads.
"Okay, so here’s the deal. You six have one month before you return to the primary Daisy’s body, but I need you all to be careful. Don’t let anyone find out that you’re actually six of Daisy’s personalities," Dennis said.
"Don’t worry, dear, I understand perfectly. Besides, I just want to spend my time staying home and reading comics, right, number one?" number seven asked while hugging number one’s arm.
"Yep, that’s right," Daisy replied, hugging number seven back.
"I get it, my husband, you don’t have to worry. I’m going to use my time to go for walks, is that okay?" number two asked.
"Go ahead, just don’t forget to come home," Dennis replied.
"Of course I will come home, my husband. You are my home and the place I belong," number two replied.
"I’ll stay right here and relax since I don’t need to leave the house. Don’t sweat it, love," number three said with a wink and a thumbs up.
"Same here, I’ll just stay home. I’d rather play on my computer, hehe," added number four, sitting cross-legged as her tail swayed back and forth.
"I’ll probably be out often looking for research materials, but I’ll definitely come back here and I won’t stay out long, hon," number five added.
"I’ll be out a lot too; I want to see the city. Don’t worry, I won’t draw any attention and I’ll definitely come home because you are my home, baby," number six added, giving a thumbs up.
Dennis looked at the faces of all the Daisies in front of him, except for Daisy number one. He appeared to be thinking hard as he watched the Daisies chatting with one another, then he spoke up.
"Now, I have a suggestion. How about Daisy number two through seven each use their own names? That way, if anyone meets you and you happen to be with number one, you can say you’re twin sisters," Dennis said.
"Names, huh?" numbers two through seven murmured in unison.
The six Daisies began to think of names for themselves, while the primary Daisy crawled forward and sat next to Dennis.
"What’s wrong with numbers?" Daisy asked innocently.
"You told Naomi you have twin sisters, right? If she asks for their names and they’re all named Daisy, that’s not going to work," Dennis answered.
"Hmm... so far I’ve just asked sister Naomi to call me Daisy regardless, I never really thought about it," Daisy muttered, lost in thought.
Then number two raised her hand and turned to look at the others. Dennis immediately looked at number two, waiting for what she was about to say.
"I’m Zwei," number two said.
"I’m Drei," number three added, raising her hand.
"I’m Vier," number four added, raising her hand.
"Stop," Dennis said, holding up one palm and covering his face with the other.
The six Daisies were immediately confused and stared at Dennis, as did the primary Daisy sitting next to him. She looked at Dennis with a face full of questions.
"Zwei, Drei, Vier—that’s just two, three, and four in a different language. Pick something else," Dennis said, suddenly feeling exhausted.
"Then what’s a good one?" number six asked, thinking it over.
"Yeah, I hate having to think about this kind of stuff," number five added with a pout.
"Let me handle the names. Number two is Diana, number three is Dahlia, number four is Donna, number five is Deborah, number six is Dulcia, and I’m number seven—Daphne. Everyone agree?" number seven asked in a calm voice.
"Hmmm, not bad, but why do they all start with D?" Dennis asked, confused.
"Because we’re the D-Squad, obviously," number seven—or Daphne—replied casually.
"Okay, so starting today, my name is Diana, my husband," Diana, formerly number two, said cheerfully.
"Yeah, I’ll call you Diana from now on," Dennis replied.
"And I’m Dahlia. You like my name, don’t you, love?" asked Dahlia, formerly number three.
"Yeah, I’ve got no problem with it," Dennis answered, just going with the flow.
"Aw... how sweet," Dahlia replied.
"I’m Donna... nice to meet you, sugar," Donna, formerly number four, said brightly.
"Nice to meet you, Donna," Dennis replied with a smile.
"Deborah. Hmm... that’s a good name. I like it. You like it too, don’t you, hon?" asked Deborah, formerly number five.
"Yeah, that name really suits you," Dennis answered casually.
"Yes, I’m Dulcia! I’ve wanted a name for so long, I’m so happy. You’re happy too, right baby?" Dulcia, formerly number six, asked with excitement.
"Of course I’m happy too, Dulcia," Dennis said with a smile.
"Whoaah... I’ve got goosebumps being called by my name, it’s a total rush," Dulcia said.
"From now on, call me Daphne, okay dear?" Daphne, formerly number seven, said.
"Yes, I’ll call you Daphne from now on," Dennis replied with a smile.
"And all of you, call me Daisy, okay? We’re all sisters and we’re twins," Daisy said.
"Okay, Daisy," Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne replied as they stepped forward and hugged Daisy all together.
After that, they all became cheerful, chatting away while holding hands—except for Dennis, who just watched with a smile as the seven girls who were previously one were now separate. But suddenly, he realized something and turned his face away.
"Hey... can you guys put some clothes on first?" Dennis asked.
Daisy, Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne all turned to look at Dennis. Without a second’s delay, the seven of them pounced on him until he fell flat on his back.
"Hey... what are you doing?" Dennis said, startled, lifting his head slightly.
"Round two, hehe," Daisy, Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne said in unison.
"Wait, don’t. You guys were satisfied earlier, and we have to be at school by 10:00 for guard duty, remember?" Dennis said.
"Oh, right," the seven of them replied together.
But before they could get up, "knock... knock," there was a knock at their apartment door. Everyone, including Dennis, immediately looked toward the door. Dennis suddenly realized that some of Jason and Kimberly’s things were still in his living room. It was obvious that Jason and Kimberly had come to pick up their stuff after staying over yesterday; they had mentioned they’d grab it this morning before heading to school for duty.
"Hey... all of you, get in the bedroom, quick! That’s definitely Jason and Kimberly coming for their things," Dennis said.
"Okay," replied Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne as they all scrambled up together.
The six of them ran into the bedroom, leaving Dennis in the living room with Daisy still on top of him. Dennis looked up at Daisy, who was just staring back at him.
"Why aren’t you going in?" Dennis asked.
"It’s fine, isn’t it?" Daisy answered.
"You’re naked. I’m still wearing pants, and a guy being shirtless is no big deal, but come on," Dennis replied.
"Oh... true. Okay, I’m going," Daisy replied.
Daisy immediately stood up and ran into the bedroom to join the others. Meanwhile, Dennis got up, walked to the door, and opened it. When the door swung open, Jason and Kimberly, standing on the other side, were shocked to see Dennis looking like a total mess and clearly not ready. Jason and Kimberly, on the other hand, were already dressed in their uniforms. Jason quickly covered Kimberly’s eyes as she couldn’t stop staring at Dennis’s muscular build.
"Dude, what the hell? Why are you naked and why aren’t you ready? We have to be at school, man. I came by to grab my stuff," Jason said, sounding annoyed.
"Oh... sorry. I overslept and just woke up. Hang on, let me get your things," Dennis replied.
"Yeah, whatever. Kim and I are heading out first, you just catch up," Jason replied.
"Okay, okay. One second," Dennis replied.
Dennis closed the door again and went inside. He snatched his t-shirt and pulled it on, then gathered all of Jason and Kimberly’s belongings, tidied them up, and brought them out to give to the two of them. After Jason and Kimberly left with their stuff, Dennis closed the door and leaned his back against it.
"Huff... it’s still early and I’m already this exhausted, give me a break," Dennis said in his head.
[Serves you right. It’s your own fault.]
"Wait, are you still sulking?" Dennis asked in his head.
[Still.]
"Oh, come on, drop it already. The important thing is everything is under control," Dennis replied in his head.
[Whatever.]
"Geez, she’s still sulking. Fine, whatever. Seriously though, having more than one wife is exhausting. Whoever said having a harem or being polyamorous is great is a damn liar," Dennis muttered to himself, feeling the weight of the morning’s fatigue.
