My Wife is a Dead Villainess, and I'm Her Living Weapon-Chapter 29: Personal
Chapter 29: Personal
A bone-chilling scream rang out. Despite her immense size, the Red Swarm Tyrant looked small. She crouched low all ten legs folded beneath her. Streaks of black tears ran down her cheeks. In less than half an hour, she lost everything. Yet two people couldn't care any less.
"Fufu, her despair is absolutely delightful. Well done my weapon. I am well pleased."
"Thank you for the assist, Bianca. If those pheromones rang out, the ants might have moved differently."
Stabbing his greatsword into the ground, the vast sea of Living Metal rushed toward Elian's armor and weapon. The sight made no sense, but like a vortex, the raging waves of black fluids melded with the lone knight. His shiny black armor quickly lost its luster as it turned matte black.
"Oh please, I hardly did anything. Your use of Living Metal completely destroys any sense of balance. You not only turned it into a weapon but a force of nature"
"Well, I needed to be in touch with Living Metal to give it commands, so I turned it into a negligible puddle. Who knew it would work so well, spending days killing Ants made me sure they would ignore it."
"Indeed, it is terrifying to think that all of this was something you came up just a while ago," Bianca confessed in admiration.
When the ground finally dried out, not even a single corpse remained. Crushed and devoured by Living Metal the queen couldn't mourn anything even if she wanted to.
"Unforgivable."
"Get ready Elian, here she comes. She has more mana in her body. It feels like a title."
[Alert. Foreign nanomachine signature detected. Cross-system compatibility confirmed. Archive corrupted—but recoverable. Proceed with integration?]
Hearing the strange alert, both Bianca and Elian grew confused.
"Huh? Cross-system compatibility? How is that even possible?"
"This can't be Dr. Magnolia's work," Bianca muttered. "She was a non-combatant. This is something else."
"Let's just see what it has to say, System. Please recover the data."
[Understood.]
"Unforgivable."
Once again, the queen's murmur rang out. Elian despite being a golem felt a pressure suddenly press down on his body. It was so strong even the ground he stood flattened. Pieces of the ceiling fell, and the entire hall shook.
[Virexar System online. Celestial Crucible participant #685. Alias: Red Swarm.]
"Bianca?"
"No idea. I don't have the slightest clue what is going on."
At that moment, loud footfalls echoed like thunder. Both Elian and Bianca looked up and saw the Arachne queen's body turn red. Her skin turned orange and carapace turned crimson.
"ALL GONE! SILENT! MY FAMILY, MY WORLD ALL GONE. UNFORGIVABLE! I DIE, YOU TOO!"
[Warning! Participant world, Red Swarm no longer has subjects remaining. The Tyrant has unlocked the title, "Tyrant of the Kingdom of Silence."!]
"Well that can't be good," Bianca commented with a wry smile.
[Warning! Tyrant has invoked Absolute Authority on herself. All stats raised by 500% in exchange for sacrificing 95% of HP for a delayed rebound!]
"That is definitely not good. Try not to die Elian."
KRIIIIII!!!!!!!!
"That's all you have to say? Such a horrible master! System, show me her status! Now!"

The new information explained the situation at a glance. It seems that there was more to dungeons that anyone thought. Even Bianca couldn't help but study it. But Elian ignored the extra details. His eyes locked onto the stats.
EX STR and SSS AGI but her INT dropped to C. So she turned stupid, but now hits like a truck.
"KIIILLLL!!!!"
"Crap!"
Despite his earlier dominance Elian couldn't even see the gigantic Tyrant move. Her large hand slashed at the boy. He franticly raised his sword over his body to protect himself.
BOOM!
Even though he had compressed his entire suit of armor to the limit, it didn't matter. As if an earthquake struck him, his insides vibrated painfully. His stance crumbled and he was blown away.
"Kruek!"
Colliding against a wall, Elian vomited molten ore. Though five seconds already passed, his entire body continued to tremble from the impact. It was obvious that he was outclassed. But a system window gave him more proof of his grim situation.
[Talent: Driven – triggered. Elian Reed will never lose consciousness in the face of an enemy.]
So I fainted? Damn it! She is too strong! I'm going to die if I take more hits like that!
Thud thud thud, a chaotic rhythm quaked. Elian looked up and saw the gigantic spider about to slash down. In panic, Elian raised his right arm. The stake on it flew outward then bloomed like a flower.
"FORTRESS!"
In an instant, the defensive dome that Elian used to defend against Bianca's spears appeared.
"WEAK! KILLLLLL!"
The Tyrant's claws bounced from the dome. In irritation, the Red Swarm Tyrant raised her body and attacked again. All ten limbs—eight legs and two arms—slammed against the shield.
Unable to bear the assault Elian's defensive dome shattered like glass.
It was inevitable from just the size difference. The Tyrant's bulk compared to a shield was like a body builder stomping on a soccer ball.
The shield broke open, but Elian was no longer there.
Only a puddle of black liquid remained.
"WHERE?! ARRRGGHHHH!!!!"
In rage, the Arachne queen stomped about. Her claws opened and closed as if she was eager to tear something apart. Black blood dripped from her eyes and her mouth like a beast that had its heart broken. Not a trace of her former majesty remained.
Along the ceiling, two figures were chatting without a care in the world. One was a ghost whose beauty was without peer. Half a suit of armor coming out of a puddle in the ceiling joined her.
"How unsightly, so you intend to hide from her till her time expires?"
"By the time it ends, I'm alive and she's dead. Who gives a crap how I won? Did you see her stats? I didn't even know something existed past SSS. Every bone in my body broke from that one hit."
"I suppose you are right. I pity her. Longing for an epic clash only to wither as she is ignored. While we wait, the information you uncovered is terrifying. To think that Dungeon bosses were merely contestants in a game. Just how powerful are those that play with their fates?"
Elian raised his hand and the puddles from the ground launched themselves at the rampaging Tyrant like chains. Yet she broke them all with a simple tug.
"COWARD! COME OUT, WHY HIDE LIKE RAT!"
"Hmm. The base living metal is too weak to restrain her."
BOOM!
With a powerful crash, the Red Swarm Tyrant slammed all her legs downward. Then she covered her face and began to cackle.
"You serve Ice Woman. No wonder you coward. She so weak my brood gutted her apart."
Crunch.
At that moment Bianca heard something snap. She turned to see Elian quickly reforming his body as he hung upside down. Several nails and metallic snakes tied him to the ceiling.
"Elian, you can't be serious. She's obviously goading you. Don't take the bait. You're winning. Let her burn the remainder of her time in futility. Do not be foolish."
"..."
Elian didn't reply, instead he raised his arm and began to gather a large number of living metal. A huge stake began to form. It was as long as five meters and it was attached to an even longer box that looked like a long coffin.
"ELIAN! I'M ORDERING YOU—DON'T DO THIS! CEASE THIS INSTANT!"
Elian then created spring-like contraptions on his back and rested his body against them. His frame creaked in protest as his snakes and nails pinned him against the springs.
Then the box attached to his gigantic nail split open. It revealed large hollow compartments.
"SHE STUPID! FAT LIKE WORM! WEAK! UGLY! WORTHLESS!" the Red Swarm Tyrant continued to shout.
Giant metallic fans inside the compartments began to spin, sucking up air into the weapon's insides. Then as if it had enough, the fans stopped and every compartment abruptly closed, sealing everything in. The mechanical sounds caused the Tyrant to look up.
"ELIAN, WHO CARES HOW I DIED! What matters more is how you'll live!"
"I'm sorry, Bianca. I can't do that. This bastard just made it personal."
[Talent: Adamant – deactivated.]
Seeing Elian up above, the Arachne woman made a smile drowning in insanity and immediately jumped.
"Feel honored, you ugly spider bastard. You get to witness the birth of my weaponized air shotgun prototype," Elian murmured.
At that moment, the snakes and nails were all released. The springs then rapidly exerted a powerful push. Like a fully drawn bow at the moment of release, Elian flew. Faster than even a bullet. Faster than even sound.
It was as if time stopped.

The air trembled, it rumbled.
Ignoring everything else, the Tyrant swiped her arm with all her might.
But as she tried to slice him in two, her opponent melted into black goo.
"WHAT?"
Like water, the fluids flowed up her arm and rapidly flowed toward her chest. It stopped just above her diaphragm. Then a small chilling whisper came from Elian, one devoid of any doubt. Not a command or an order, but a statement of fact.
"Die. Pile bunker."
In the next instant, a series of explosions detonated, erupting with ever-increasing power. A bright flash like lightning came from the black fluid. An onyx nail flew forward and pierced into the Tyrant's chest, reaching her monster core.
Boom.
Unable to leave a mark, the queen roared in glee.
"HAHAHA TOO WEAK!"
But her joy soon faltered. The impacts didn't stop. A second detonation followed driving the stake deeper.
This time a loud crack echoed.
"W-What?"
Then another.
"NOOO!!!"
And then another.
And another. Seven explosions in total. Unable to endure, a gigantic hole formed in the tyrant. All her internals blew out from the impact point.
Even as her soul faded, her last thoughts leaked out, "How? I... suppose to rule... the Celestial Crucible. I... chosen. Yet... I... die... in..."
