My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 100 - 94: Was He Rejected?
"Impossible... Impossible... How could she..."
"Stella, Aurora is far more exceptional than you realize! Otherwise, she wouldn’t be so highly regarded by the Young Master of the Morgan Family, the Lockwood Heir, the Lowell Family’s young master, and Master Flora Guthrie. Calling her a monster? Heh, you people are just too ignorant..."
Stella Sinclair swayed, her face so pale it was drained of all color. It felt as if someone had viciously gripped her heart and was tearing it apart, the pain making it impossible to breathe.
The last glimmer of pride in her eyes was brutally extinguished.

Stella Sinclair was taken away.
Her departure went smoothly this time. Like a mindless puppet, she was woodenly led into the car by the bodyguards. No matter how Hailey Gordon threw a fit, it was useless. She could only watch helplessly as Janet Sinclair took her daughter away.
"Linton Sinclair, are you even a man? You can’t even protect your own daughter!"
Hailey Gordon, now a weeping mess, began to pound on Linton Sinclair frantically, only to be met with a slap across the face.
Linton Sinclair’s face was ashen as he roared forcefully, "This is all your fault! Stella only ended up like this because of you!"
Hailey Gordon clutched her face, staring at him in disbelief, as if she couldn’t believe the man before her would actually strike her.
"Here’s the divorce agreement. I get Stella and Myles. You’re on your own now."
The man’s heartlessness was the final straw that broke Hailey Gordon’s sanity.
She dashed back into the villa, snatched a fruit knife from the table, and charged at Linton Sinclair, ready to fight to the death, looking completely unhinged.
The Sinclair Family’s bodyguards quickly moved in and restrained her.
Linton Sinclair clutched his injured arm, his face livid. "You lunatic! Lock her up—"
"Linton Sinclair, you’re not human—"
Hailey Gordon was like a madwoman, screaming and shouting, but Linton Sinclair remained completely unmoved. His merciless expression seemed to cast her into the depths of hell.
A vicious glint flashed in Linton Sinclair’s eyes as he said coldly, "Hailey Gordon has gone mad over what happened to Stella. She needs to be taken to a hospital for psychiatric treatment! You all know what to do, don’t you?"
The bodyguards nodded and forcefully dragged Hailey Gordon away.
Her eyes were now vacant, as if her soul had fled. She stared blankly at the man before her, who had suddenly become a complete stranger, and was rendered speechless.

「Solis Shore.」
The cool seawater and the pleasant sea breeze unknowingly calmed the heart and relaxed the mind.
Alvin Morgan looked up from his phone and saw that Aurora Sinclair had already walked some distance away, carrying a small bucket.
A line of small footprints was left behind on the golden sand.
Suddenly, the figure ahead held up a seashell and turned back to him with a look of pleasant surprise. "Morgan, I found one."
Then, she quickly ran back to him and placed the hard-won seashell in the palm of his hand.
It was a star-shaped seashell.
"Mr. Beta said it brings a lifetime of happiness."
Alvin Morgan paused, looking deeply at the girl before him. "Why give the first one to me?"
"You’re a good person."
A strange emotion welled up in Alvin Morgan’s heart, a ticklish feeling that was both sweet and sour.
"Aurora..."
Aurora Sinclair nodded at him, then bent down again to earnestly search for more star-shaped seashells.
Her small, slender frame held an infinite Strength. Alvin Morgan felt his heart become full.
He suddenly stepped forward and grabbed Aurora Sinclair’s arm. "Aurora, join the Morgan Family!"
Aurora Sinclair looked at him, puzzled. Alvin Morgan used both his hands to pull her in front of him and said seriously, "After what happened last night, the Guthrie Family will definitely try to recruit you. If you refuse, they will come after you in secret."
"Why?"
Alvin Morgan didn’t explain right away. Instead, he took the Jade Token from his neck—the symbol of his identity—and placed it in her palm.
The Jade Token was about the size of her palm, milky-white and cool to the touch. The front was engraved with an unknown pattern, somewhat resembling an ancient character.
Alvin Morgan closed her hand over it and continued, "In Kingsford, the competition between the Great Families is fierce. Without the means to intimidate outsiders, it’s impossible to maintain one’s current position. The Guthrie Family only climbed to where they are today because your master’s wife is the Sect Leader of the Ghost Eye Sect. They won’t easily let the Ghost Eye Sect fall into another family’s hands..."
Aurora Sinclair shook her head and said earnestly, "The Ghost Eye Sect doesn’t belong to the Guthrie Family."
But Alvin Morgan reached out and ruffled her hair. "Aurora, people’s hearts are hard to fathom. Some will truly stop at nothing for power."
"Would your family?" 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
Alvin Morgan’s hand paused, a complex look flashing in his eyes. "There used to be ten prominent families in Kingsford. The Morgan Family was ranked in the middle. But later, the Morgan Family toppled the number one Great Family to take its place."
"Who was number one?"
"The Young Family."
A strange emotion filled Alvin Morgan’s eyes, and his voice was lower than before.
A gentle sea breeze blew a cloud over, blocking the sun and casting a large shadow over the two of them.
Aurora Sinclair handed the Jade Token back to him and said earnestly, "My master said that birth, aging, sickness, and death, the survival of the fittest—these are the unchanging laws of the world. You don’t need to dwell on it so much..."
Her cool, even voice carried a soothing Strength, and Alvin Morgan’s gaze froze on her.
He found her face growing more and more captivating. Her clear, pristine eyes seemed to reflect his own heart, like magma beneath a dormant volcano, suppressing the urge to erupt.
’She’s still young...’ he chanted silently in his mind.
Alvin Morgan averted his gaze, flustered.
When the brilliant sunlight once again bathed the entire beach, Alvin Morgan realized his heart was beating a little too fast.

Behind a massive rock, two furtive figures were spying on the man and woman with a pair of binoculars.
One of them, apparently afraid of being discovered, had draped a scarf over her head, leaving only her eyes visible as she peered through the binoculars.
"Old man, why did that little girl refuse our Whitlock? Does she think he’s too old?" Susan Warner asked with a worried expression, having seen Aurora Sinclair return the Jade Token to Alvin Morgan.
The Morgan Family’s Jade Token was not only a symbol of status but also a token of love given to one’s significant other.
Now that Aurora Sinclair had rejected the Jade Token, it was obvious she had rejected their grandson.
For so many years, their grandson hadn’t taken a liking to a single girl, leading her and Yvonne Whitlock to suspect he didn’t even like women. They had closely observed him among his aides for a long time and finally came to one conclusion: Alvin Morgan liked the dumb, silly type, like Beta Morgan.
Over the years, they had set him up on countless blind dates with girls who were Beta Morgan’s type, but all of them ended in failure.
Just when they felt that the prospect of having a great-grandchild was hopelessly distant, Aurora Sinclair appeared.
She was like a lighthouse in the darkness, giving everyone hope.
So, no matter what, she had to get those two together.
"Come on, let’s go—"
After taking off her sunglasses and headscarf, Susan Warner smoothed her hair and clothes, then stepped out from behind the rock.
"Wait..."
