My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 186 - 180: Don’t Even Think About My Junior Sister
After Elias Lennox verified his identity, he returned to his private dorm room at DAF. He quickly opened his laptop, bypassed Veridia’s network surveillance, and logged into a specific web portal.
He immediately typed his username, YL, into the input field, followed by a complex password.
Immediately after, the computer prompted for an iris scan. Elias Lennox lowered his head, removed his contact lens, and widened his amber right eye to face the scanner.
"Verification successful!"
A very minimalist website soon appeared on the screen.
The top-left corner displayed a string of foreign letters that translated to: The International Mercenary Alliance.
He imported a photo from his phone into a search database, but a line of text immediately popped up: S-level secret, access denied.
"How interesting!"
He tried a few more methods but still couldn’t breach the database. Instead, he was detected by its defense system, which activated its countermeasures.
At the same time, Alvin Morgan received a message on his phone: [Someone is attempting to breach the Veridian population database.]
Alvin Morgan’s expression flickered. He immediately opened his computer and entered several strings of code. He quickly located the hacker’s point of attack, but just as he was about to retaliate, the intruder fled.
Elias Lennox stared at the screen he had forcibly disconnected and sucked in a sharp breath.
’That was close. They almost found my home base.’
’I didn’t expect his junior disciple’s files to be an S-level secret, too.’
***
Alvin Morgan’s eyes darkened. He continued his pursuit, following the traces the hacker hadn’t had time to erase.
Suddenly, a website address popped up on the screen, which read: Welcome to The International Mercenary Alliance.
This alliance had a formidable international reputation. Its mercenaries mostly operated in gray areas, fighting against the notorious Shadow Organization for high commissions. As a result, the entire league was protected by international law.
The mercenaries within were divided into seven levels. The highest Level was S-level, and the Low Rank was F-level. Someone who could breach Veridia’s database to this extent had to be at least B-level or higher.
Alvin Morgan pursed his lips and closed the web page.
He entered a few more strings of code, successfully patching the system vulnerabilities. While he was at it, he also patched the vulnerabilities in the EM Group’s database.
This action immediately caught the attention of the head of EM Group’s data security center.
"Mr. Miles, our system vulnerabilities have been patched by someone."
"Who was it?"
"One moment, I’ll check the logs." The department head typed in a few strings of code and then said excitedly, "It was a senior engineer from The Morgan Group. He even upgraded our system..."
Jared Miles immediately thought of Alvin Morgan, a complicated feeling stirring within him.
He took out his phone, stepped out of the security center, and called Alvin Morgan. After thanking him, he changed his tone and warned, "Even if you helped EM Group, don’t even think about going after my junior."
Alvin Morgan: ...

A few days later, DAF had another regular season match. This time, they were up against Team PL, one of Veridia’s strongest teams. However, the match conflicted with Aurora Sinclair’s school field trip.
Since she couldn’t participate, Flynn Morgan had Elias Lennox play in her place.
The DAF fans had originally been prepared for a losing streak.
But unexpectedly, Elias Lennox’s King of Night, with his elusive movements, pulled off a last-minute reversal, scoring a one-versus-two takedown. He eliminated two players in quick succession, turning the tide and leading DAF to victory against the champion team, PL, in their home match.
The DAF fans in the stadium erupted in cheers, electrifying the atmosphere. After the match, Elias Lennox’s King of Night quickly made headlines on all the major gaming news sites.
[Following Master Rory, DAF’s New Dark Horse, King of Night, Scores a 1-v-2 Takedown in His Debut Match!]
Elias Lennox’s handsome face immediately attracted investment from numerous sponsors.
Some players also revealed that King of Night was last year’s rookie king from the Crestland open qualifiers, causing some fans to worry he would become a formidable rival for Veridia’s teams in the future.
After all, he was an international exchange student. After his year in Veridia, he would have to return to Crestland to compete.
But regardless of the commentary, DAF Team had emerged as a powerful contender for the championship this season, reigniting the fighting spirit of old-school fans in the gaming community.

Meanwhile, the archaeology students who had missed the live broadcast because of their field trip were devastated.
Most of them were fans of Team PL. They had been thinking about the match all day and only got a signal to watch the replay on their way back. But when they did, they found their entire social media feed flooded with posts about Team PL losing to DAF.
Seeing the assassin King of Night’s one-versus-two play, in particular, made them so mad they almost smashed their phones.
"That assassin is just insane. His APM is on par with Master Rory’s. What kind of dumb luck did DAF stumble into to get two top-tier rookies in a row?"
"I know, right? I have a feeling PL won’t be able to hold on to their champion title this year. Master Rory hasn’t even played yet. If she did, wouldn’t they just steamroll all the other teams?"
"No way. Don’t forget, two of PL’s main players were out for this match. If they had all played, DAF wouldn’t have won. Right, Aurora?"
Danny Archer turned and asked the person beside him, who was intently watching the match.
He had noticed that Aurora Sinclair was very interested in *Battle for Glory* and was watching more seriously than anyone else. He was secretly delighted; it was rare for girls these days to enjoy watching esports.
But Aurora Sinclair shook her head and said seriously, "The championship will go to DAF."
"..."
All the boys turned to look at her, asking in surprise, "Aurora, are you a DAF fan?"
Aurora Sinclair nodded.
"Really? Who’s your favorite player?" Seth Sterling’s eyes lit up. He was one of the few DAF fans in their class. Because of that, he had kept his distance while watching the match today; there were too many PL fans, and he was afraid of getting beaten up.
"Master Rory," Aurora Sinclair replied without hesitation.
Hearing this, Seth Sterling looked as if he had finally found his people. He held up his phone and plopped down next to her. "I like her too! She’s my goddess. Did you see the first regular season match? Her APM broke 800 and she completely destroyed that PK expert, Titus. It was so awesome..."
The tips of Aurora Sinclair’s ears turned slightly red.
Seth Sterling then shared the short video clips he had recorded with Aurora Sinclair, one by one. Their friendly intimacy made everyone else envious.
"Aurora, let’s watch matches together from now on!"
Aurora Sinclair nodded.
All the other boys on the bus felt their hands itching, desperately wanting to punch someone to vent their frustration.
’So obnoxious!’
’Is being a DAF fan such a big deal?’
’Fine, we’ll support DAF from now on, too!’

The Arcadian University bus pulled into a highway service station.
As soon as Aurora Sinclair came out of the restroom, she felt an intense gaze on her.
She turned to look and saw a silver sedan. Its windows were tinted dark, making it impossible to see who was inside.
Kevin Whitlock was startled by that pair of cold eyes, and his heart began to pound violently.
’Fuck, what is this ancestor doing here?’
’Even though she looks normal, my legs are turning to jelly without me realizing it.’
"Captain, what’s wrong?" the agent next to him asked, turning to look.
Kevin Whitlock suppressed the panic in his heart. "It’s nothing. Give me a cigarette."
After a moment’s glance, the girl outside turned and walked away. Her destination was, surprisingly, the Arcadian University bus.
’She’s actually a student at Arcadian University?’
’Since when?’
After she left, Kevin Whitlock opened the car window, took a heavy drag from his cigarette, then unlocked his phone and dialed a number.
"I’ll be in Kingsford in two hours. Where should I meet you?"
***
「Two hours later」
The silver sedan followed the bus and stopped at the entrance of the Arcadian University campus.
"We’re here, Captain," the junior agent reminded him in a low voice. He noticed his captain had been staring grimly at the bus ahead, as if on guard against someone.
Suddenly, Kevin Whitlock ducked his head and gestured for the agent not to look at him.
After a long moment, he finally asked, "Is she gone?"
"Who? Captain, are you hiding from someone?"
Kevin Whitlock froze for a second, then straightened up with an awkward laugh. He let out a sudden sigh of relief after seeing a certain receding figure in the rearview mirror.
"I’m heading out."
Kevin Whitlock put his sunglasses back on, opened the car door, and walked onto the Arcadian University campus.
The junior agent left in the car scratched his head in confusion.
’Did he run into a creditor or something?’
