My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 91 - 86: Send a Portion to the Sinclair Family
’Was that Aurora Sinclair?’
’Why was she with Young Lord Morgan?’
Stella Sinclair stared blankly at the staircase leading to the second floor, as if she were in a stupor.
"Stella, am I dreaming? The Young Master of the Morgan Family is actually here. Do you think he’s the mysterious award presenter for tonight?"
Stella Sinclair didn’t answer, letting the girl beside her excitedly pinch her arm.
"Stella is so lucky. Young Master Morgan will probably present her award."
"Yeah! I can’t believe the teachers managed to invite the Morgans. You’re so fortunate, Stella!"
Stella Sinclair struggled to maintain the smile on her face. It felt like someone had grabbed her heart, and she was panicked to the extreme.
A senior seemed to notice something was wrong and asked with concern, "Stella, is your blood sugar low? Your face is so pale."
Stella Sinclair forced a smile and nodded slightly. "My head’s a little dizzy."
"Then you should sit down, quickly!"
On the other side, Hailey Gordon’s surprise had twisted into terror. She was frozen in place like a statue, her eyes bugging out so wide they looked like they might pop out, and her jaw hung open.
The general admission seats were near the entrance, so she had seen Alvin Morgan the moment he walked in. She’d recognize the petite figure walking ahead of him even if she were reduced to ashes—it was Aurora Sinclair.
’How could she be with Young Lord Morgan?’
A cold chill ran up her spine as everything that had happened before suddenly became clear.
The Lockwood Heir saving someone at the airport, Chester Greene offering to be a tutor, the surveillance at Kingsford No. 1 High School, Marius Anson’s investigation, the purple invitation...
With each recollection, her face grew a shade paler, until it was completely drained of color.
Her entire body felt as if it had been plunged into an icy cavern, cold from head to toe.
Beside her, Lillian Gordon didn’t notice anything was wrong and was yanking on her arm, screaming, "AHH—Auntie, Young Lord Morgan is here—"
Hailey Gordon went numb all over. Her legs gave out, and she plopped back into her chair, her forehead covered in a cold sweat.
’It’s over—’
’Stella and I are finished—’

Alvin Morgan led Aurora Sinclair straight to a private room on the second floor and pushed the door open.
Inside sat the Lockwood Heir, Arthur Lockwood, whom they hadn’t seen in a long time.
"Well, well, if it isn’t little Aurora. Haven’t seen you in a few months, and you’ve gotten cooler!" Arthur Lockwood said, a cigarette dangling from his lips. He was leaning back against the sofa, checking out Aurora Sinclair with a roguish air.
Alvin Morgan’s brow furrowed slightly, his eyes filled with a warning. "Put out the cigarette!"
Arthur Lockwood froze for a second, glanced at Aurora Sinclair, then sheepishly took the half-smoked cigarette from his mouth and quickly stubbed it out.
Alvin Morgan took off his sunglasses, loosened his collar, and pulled Aurora Sinclair to sit across from him.
Arthur Lockwood waved away the smoke in front of him, glanced at the massive one-way glass window, and asked cheekily, "Morgan, how does it feel to be surrounded by a horde of women again?"
From the Lockwood Family’s private room, one could clearly see the first-floor hall, where the young ladies of the Great Families were still craning their necks, staring hopefully at the row of windows on the second floor.
Alvin Morgan shot him a cold glance but ignored him, leaning over to pour a cup of tea for Aurora Sinclair. The naturalness of his movement stunned the Lockwoods in the room.
Arthur Lockwood’s gaze darted back and forth between the two.
’Holy shit! When did these two get so close?’
His stare was so intense that Aurora Sinclair glanced at her teacup in confusion before silently handing the untouched cup to him.
Arthur Lockwood instantly felt a death glare from across the table. Brazenly, he took the cup.
"Put it down—"
The teacup fell at the command, and scalding hot tea instantly spilled out, splashing all over Arthur Lockwood’s hand. He yelped and shook his hand frantically.
Beside him, Abel Lockwood couldn’t bear to watch and quickly handed him a napkin.
’Why does our Young Master’s IQ drop to zero whenever he’s around Young Lord Morgan?’
Alvin Morgan poured a fresh cup of tea for Aurora Sinclair and said softly, "Aurora, this tea is hot. Be careful."
Arthur Lockwood: ...

「A dozen or so minutes later.」
Beta Morgan and Dean Morgan leisurely walked up to the second floor, carrying two large paper bags of takeout.
"Dixon, fetching takeout is a pretty easy job, right?"
Dean Morgan nodded, still shaken. He had seen a few of their brothers in the first-floor hall with their clothes torn. It was a testament to how crazy the scene had been.
’The Master’s charm is as potent as ever!’
The two arrived in front of the Lockwood Family’s room with their takeout bags, and the Lockwood bodyguards immediately opened the door for them.
The moment Arthur Lockwood saw them, his eyes lit up. He sat up straight and asked happily, "Morgan, how did you know I was hungry?"
Beta Morgan and Dean Morgan calmly placed the takeout bags in front of their own master and Aurora Sinclair.
Alvin Morgan glanced at Arthur Lockwood. "Go deliver a portion to the Sinclairs."
"Huh?"
"Beta, you go with him—"

Inside the Sinclair Family’s private room, Jade Sinclair stood by the window, excitedly looking down.
The commotion from downstairs had thrilled her, but due to the room’s angle, she hadn’t been able to see Alvin Morgan.
"Dad, are we really not going out to take a look? That’s the Young Master of the Morgan Family!"
Master Sinclair’s expression was perfectly calm, showing no signs of excitement. He held the teacup Butler Sinclair had handed him and sipped his tea slowly.
"Dad, Young Lord Morgan and his group might be right next door..."
"Sis, you can’t just run around in a place like this!"
Leaning against the sofa, Janet Sinclair looked up from Jean Quincy’s phone screen and chuckled softly.
Jade Sinclair knew that, of course, but she felt a pang of resentment. If Master Sinclair would make an appearance, she might be able to show her face before Young Lord Morgan today. Then her status in the Quincy Family would rise even higher.
"Sit tight and don’t get any funny ideas," Master Sinclair warned her in a low voice.
Jade Sinclair could only rein in her impatience and suppress her dissatisfaction. ’If my sister-in-law were here, we would’ve gone out long ago.’
’Such a great opportunity to get close to a top-tier Great Family, and the Sinclairs are just letting it slip by.’
Just then, there was a sudden knock on the door.
Leigh Miles’s face lit up, and she stood. "My senior is here—"
"Didn’t she go to work?" Jean Quincy asked casually.
"She did go to work..." Leigh Miles said as she ran to open the door. "Huh? Mr. Beta? Where’s my senior?" Leigh leaned out to look but didn’t see Aurora Sinclair.
Beta Morgan raised an arm slightly. "She’s next door. I’ll take you over to eat in a bit."
"Okay, come on in!" Leigh Miles stepped aside to let them in.
Arthur Lockwood, who had been ignored off to the side, raised an eyebrow. He sized up Leigh Miles for a few moments and asked with interest, "Beta, who’s this?"
"Aurora’s junior."
Arthur Lockwood’s expression faltered for a second, then he remarked with sudden understanding, "No wonder..."
The Morgan’s private room had a screen wall at the entrance, so you had to walk around it to see the people inside.
When Beta Morgan appeared, Master Sinclair shot to his feet. Tanner Sinclair and Janet Sinclair also stood up, their expressions turning serious.
Butler Sinclair immediately stepped forward. "Mr. Beta... and this gentleman, please, have a seat..."
Beta Morgan chuckled and dodged his outstretched hand, speaking familiarly, "It’s only been a few days, and you’re being so formal again. This is a little something from my master, so everyone can have a bite. The banquet won’t be for another three hours."
Arthur Lockwood didn’t have a good impression of the Sinclairs, but seeing Beta Morgan’s warmth, his own expression softened.
Master Sinclair glanced at Arthur Lockwood a few times. He looked familiar, but for a moment, he couldn’t recall where he had seen him before.
Jade Sinclair, who had been silent all this time, suddenly cried out in excitement, "Young Master Lockwood—"
Her face was a mask of shock and disbelief as she hurried over.
"Young Master Lockwood, I’m Jade Sinclair, the wife of Alden Quincy from the third branch of the Quincy Family. This is my son, Zeke Quincy, and my daughter, Jean Quincy."
Arthur Lockwood didn’t know who Alden Quincy was, but he gave a polite nod.
Delighted, Jade Sinclair immediately introduced him to everyone in the room. "Dad, this is the young master of the Lockwood Family of Kingsford, Arthur Lockwood."
Master Sinclair’s eyes lit up. He came over, leaning on his cane, and shook Arthur’s hand, exchanging pleasantries.
Jade Sinclair glanced at the food on the table, grinning from ear to ear.
’Stella is truly amazing! To think she could make the Lockwood Heir value her so much. Could it be that he’s fallen for her?’
At this thought, Jade Sinclair’s eyes grew warm. She said with utmost eagerness, "Young Master Lockwood, thank you so much for your help at customs last time. My father-in-law has been wanting to thank you. I was wondering when you might have some free time?"
Arthur Lockwood was utterly baffled. ’Something about this feels... off.’
"Young Master Lockwood, I know you and our Stella are friends, but this is a huge deal for my family. My father-in-law has been eager to thank you in person..."
