Chapter 87: Two Mares, Fighting Over One Spot

With a firm grip, Samael took Kivas’ hand and pressed it against her chest, sinking the palm into the soft surface, to the point that Kivas could feel the weight and pressure of it.

The warmth of her skin radiated through the thin fabric, and Kivas could feel the steady rhythm of Samael’s heartbeat.

A blush creeped up her cheeks, and she averted her gaze.

"Why are you doing this...?" Kivas asked, her voice barely a whisper due to the amount of shock she had.

Samael’s crimson eyes held her gaze, unwavering, curious, but not out of promiscuous desire. "I want to know if this makes you feel anything, Kivas."

Their relationship might have gone from enemies to an intimate couple, but the two of them had only been swinging on the edge of kissing and cuddling to warm another, never gone further beyond pure lust and depravity.

Kivas swallowed hard, her hand trembled slightly. "I-I never saw you this heated before, This sudden intensity... It is so far from what we usually do..."

Before Kivas could say more, Oizys slid closer, her black wings brushing against Kivas’ arm.

She held Kivas’ other hand, bringing it to her lips. Her tongue darted out, tracing the pad of Kivas’ thumb, sucking it lightly. A shiver ran down Kivas’ spine.

"See, Samael?" Oizys said, her voice a honeyed purr, suckling Kivas’ thumb. "Subtlety is key here. You don’t want to rush a maiden’s heart. You need to build the flame slowly~"

After the conflict on the dining table was averted unseriously, Kivas decided to take her time off, walking around her temple.

Her mind churned over this new development and how it might affect her chance of survival. She was so pressed on staying alive that she was willing to take all of the chances she could get.

But she had forgotten one thing, she left Samael and Oizys alone.

They seemed to be casting some kind of perception barrier when the two of them were alone, and it seemed that somehow, Oizys had implanted a foreign idea into Samael’s curious and sadistic mind.

Something along the lines of "Wouldn’t you like to see Kivas’ reaction to it?" would be sufficient enough to win Samael over from being vehemently against Oizys into working together with her.

And then now it led to this.

"I’ve seen what humans do. They don’t always play by your ’subtlety’ rules." Samael chuckled, a low sound that resonated in her chest. "Especially the videos regarding intimate copulation act that Kivas watched from time to time during her time before she started a new life in Fathomi."

Kivas gasped, her eyes widening. "How do you even know that! And you had no right to watch my past self without my consent!"

Samael just smirked, her eyes gleaming with mischief. "I have my ways. And I couldn’t help but notice how... captivated you were, now that someone pointed it out."

This must be what Oizys’ brewing! Was what Kivas thought at the time.

"Of course, Samael, but you also need to know what body parts to interact if you want to bring the best out of Kivas’ reaction~"

Kivas’ face burned with embarrassment, but before she could retort, Oizys’ knee pressed gently against Kivas’ crotch.

"While Samael and I had something to clash about, we quickly agreed on one thing." Oizys’ hand slid up Kivas’ stomach, a soft, sensual caress that made Kivas’ breath hitch. Oizys then leaned forward, her voice was a low, sultry whisper in Kivas’ ear. "You’re so adorable when you’re flustered, Kivas. It makes me want to do naughty things to you."

Samael growled, a low rumble in her chest.

It seemed like seeing someone other than herself taking the initiation irritated her/

So Samael powerfully leaned in, her lips capturing Kivas’ in a searing kiss.

Kivas’ eyes widened in surprise, but she didn’t pull away. Samael’s tongue flicked out, exploring the seam of Kivas’ lips, asking for entry.

Kivas’ body tingled with a sensation she’d never felt before, and she tentatively opened her mouth, allowing Samael’s tongue to dance with hers.

The world around Kivas faded away. All she could feel was the heat of Samael’s body pressed against hers, the softness of Oizys’ hands brushing all sorts of her body parts, massaging the right spot.

Her heart pounded in her chest, a rapid rhythm that matched the throbbing between her legs.

Suddenly, Kivas’ vision swam. The world grew fuzzy, and her body felt heavy.

She pulled away from Samael’s kiss, her eyes fluttering closed as darkness claimed her.

Samael and Oizys looked at each other, concerned in their eyes.

Samael gently scooped Kivas into her arms, cradling her close. "I think we might have been a bit too much for her," she said softly.

Oizys nodded, her expression tightening. "A bit too much, indeed. But I’ve never seen someone so cute while being overwhelmed." She leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Kivas’ forehead. "Let’s take our dear little angel to bed and make sure she’s comfortable."

"I didn’t give you the permission to kiss her."

"But you didn’t do anything to prevent it," Oizys’ smile curved devilishly. "You must’ve noticed it, my essence of signature."

"You’re simply Kivas, but not her at the same time."

"I’m sure that we can agree to hide this fact from Kivas herself, right?" Oizys chuckled. Not a single melancholy nor sadness had seeped from her heart. "It will be quite troublesome if our young and bright angel began having an existential crisis about this."

"You can tell her, and nothing will change," Samael said with confidence as she stride forward, holding Kivas’ adorable state in her arms. "In a way, I think that you have derived too far from her original essence and myself, that you’re another entity entirely."

"As expected of the Endless Dragon, your wisdom knows no bound."

"Why did you play along when she somehow managed to imbue you with a Genesis Core?"

"No reason," Oizyss dimmed her gaze. "I just found it hilarious that I’m counted as my own soulmate, so I decided to take part in her current journey, regardless of how different she was from the ’me’ that I remembered."

"Just you know, I hold no connection nor affection to you," Samael declared. "My Kivas are right here, and she is my only Kivas out of the two I’m seeing right now."

"Relax, Mrs. Endless," Oizys winked. "I barely hold any affection for you either. I also had my own Samael, and I’m now respecting her by attributing all of my achievement and experience in her appearance and essence."

"So that’s why you took that appearance."

"Not that much complex of a reason, isn’t it now?"

Samael furrowed her eyebrows, pouting. "Then why did you try to steal my Kivas? You can jump across the timelines now, go get your own Kivas and smooch them over! Shoo, shoo!"

"Unfortunately, your Kivas was the one who binded me over."

"I should have stayed in a closer proximity back then." Samael gritted her teeth, terribly annoyed still. "Kivas might be bright and inquisitive, but she is quite the scaredy cat."

"She is quite the cat, alright~"

"She can be fidgety when she is waiting for something, and her head begins to rumble the more anxious she gets."

"And when she notices that it is not such a big deal, she regrets for worrying over nothing."

"... How come you know so much about her?"

"I’m literally her, you dumb buffoon."

"Heh, yet this dumb buffoon is the one carrying her, not you!"

"That is such a childish remark!"

"Hah, you’re flustered over it!"

In one way or another, the two of them bonded quite a bit through their unified care and affection for Kivas.

It was still unknown why Oizys was deemed as a suitable candidate for a Genesis Core, or even the fact that she was Kivas’ own soulmate.

But her laughter when she saw that there was a hope in this world was real.

"... You know what I’m thinking, right?" Oizys asked while Samael was slowly placing Kivas down on her ceremonial bed.

Samael merely glanced toward her with a face filled with disgust.

"You can’t do that to an unconscious person, you pervert."

"I’m not thinking about that, dumbass."

What would happen if either one of the Kivas died in this timeline?

Was Oizys truly deemed as a brand new entity?

What would happen if Oizys died, would her own original timeline that was ravaged by the Crimson Helot’s Original God get reset, or would it remain the same?

What if an anomaly happened now that there were two Kivas in the same timeline, how would the reset even work?

"Ahaha... Ahahahah!"

Somewhere under the mist of the radiant sky, laughter echoed in the vacuum of space.

"So this is how it’s going to be~"

It was supposed to be impossible, yet it happened anyway.

"Ninety-three days remaining until we can combine the digitized ’Ark’ into this ridiculous and uncaring world."

"We can only hope that the Celestial Avatar lived long enough for that to happen."

"Say, I’ve been wondering about this for a while... What happened to the World Forgers that created this world?"

"You didn’t know?"

"How am I supposed to know? I’ve just completed my Apotheosis yesterday."

"Well, if you really wanted to know, let’s just say~"

Maybe it was best to not know the truth after all.

"We’ve killed them and mauled their corpses to decorate our precious garden~"
