Myriad Devils-Chapter 254: The spirit of creation
Besides his mastery of the Basic Supreme Armament and his two unique natures, his Wings of Light also carried the aspect of Dimension Lord.
Nevertheless, the process of augmenting his Wings of Light, or transforming it into an actual deadly weapon, was bound to be a tedious process.
Though his dream form was still deciphering the Divine Battle Art, Wings of Cosmic Tearing, it would be improbable and impossible to acquire Dimension Lord strength.
At least, such strength from the first rank, which he had purchased, would never approach Dimension Lord strength.
He did not have enough merit to purchase the Rank Four Divine Battle Art, Wings of Cosmic Tearing, much less the Rank Five, which, when mastered, allowed for the display of power comparable to the Secondary-Level Dimension Lord.
With only Ranks One, Two, and Three being somewhat affordable with the current amount of merits he held, there was no need to focus on it at the moment.
Rank One alone was 500,000 merit points, and after acquiring the Basic Supreme Armament, he had little more than ten million left.
Such an amount would disappear in the blink of an eye if he were not careful... especially in these trying times, thanks, no thanks to his father.
Naturally, it could still be useful.
The Wings of Cosmic Tearing showcased a structure that one’s wings can imitate, and it also contained the mysteries of the principles of Death and Destruction.
Only through deciphering this Divine Battle Art could he comprehend the principles of Destruction.
Complex comprehension was like this.
There was no affinity for the principle, so until he enlightened the principle, there was a need for this type of false connection.
Once enlightening even one percent of a principle, the principle would not evade the otherworldly creature’s perception.
However, complex comprehension was innately difficult, and even after one enlightened the principle, it would not go out of its way to reveal its inherent mysteries.
.....
Within his inner realm...
The gestating life planets within his inner cosmos were finally nurtured by a completed inner realm, bringing forth a period of maturity.
The Heavens gave birth to life, and with a thought, the first creatures were born.
They were created from an undying flame...
The second group of creatures was created from a reservoir of infinite stellar cosmic energy.
The third group was created from a divine sea; they were creatures born from light.
At the same time, creatures born from a dark ocean of vile blood also came to.
Thereafter, blood rain fell onto the dirt of the countless life planets, corrupting the lands.
Divine light came down from the heavens, cleansing the lands.
Stellar cosmic energy swept the worlds, molding them, and undying fire lit up their souls.
Like this, humans were born.
They had fleshy bodies from the dark ocean, as well as spirituality (wisdom) from the divine sea.
Lighting up their souls was an undying flame of desire.
And they were capable of reproduction due to the power of creation contained within the stellar cosmic energy that had once swept through their existence.
The spirit of creation...
They embodied all aspects of the world.
They were capable of good and also evil.
They thought freely, burning with desires, and they spread their seed far and wide, creating life akin to stellar cosmic energy.
Anon smiled upon seeing all of his children.
They would come to fight and kill, and in their death, they would return to his inner realm, completing his world even more.
A cycle.
They would pillage, and they would torture, they would be tortured, and they would cry, cry to him, and curse at him, and be grateful to him, but he would only take a glance.
They were his children, but they were naturally insignificant.
With the completion of his inner world, they were born just because, but there was no care in the heart of their creator.
This was the very essence of nature.
The Heavens were inherently impartial because they did not care.
Destiny unfolded nonetheless, and sometimes, one is blessed, because the creator grew inclined to bless them, on a whim.
And sometimes, one is cursed because the creator grew inclined to curse them, on a whim.
But one cannot do anything about this.
There is nothing to be done about this.
Smiling, Anon retracted his gaze.
This was a different sensation.
Tenebris stared at him... it had never stopped staring at him, and he stared back.
He was pleased.
The transformations within his inner realm took more than fifty years, so there was little time remaining before they arrived in the Eternal Antiquity Prime Region.
"Why are you happy?" Tenebris tilted its head.
He was clearly happy because of his realm’s improvement, but why did his realm’s improvement make him happy?
It was not due to the increase in power, because his actual power had barely increased.
Was it because he had given birth to life and was now a father over an entire realm?
Such a realm was a miniature universe, so his power spanned, at the very least, a Major region.
Even though the essence of his power had not increased, its effect could reach a vaster distance.
Still, this could not improve his mood.
At most, he could now battle a few more individuals or survive against a few more individuals.
Oh...
Was it really due to the inner realm itself?
Father, Creator of life...
Why did this make him happy, though?
Tenebris stared even more intently at him, seeking out answers.
"Do you wish for me to tell you?" Anon suddenly asked, smilingly.
The Ghost Autarch knitted its brows in thought.
Then, it nodded its head.
"I will tell you," he said, "But the world is one of equivalent exchange."
"I will reveal to you what you desire to decipher, but you’ll bestow upon me a revelation as well."
Its hollow eyes widened, revealing a deeper, vaster abyss, and it asked, "What do you desire to know?"
Anon shook his head and explained, "I do not desire any knowledge from you. I will come to know many things when I meet the Elven Saintess."
Upon hearing this, Tenebris remained silent, staring deeply toward this lesser existence that kept speaking whilst simultaneously saying nothing.
Its eyes were completely void of anything, seemingly devouring everything or transforming anything into nothing.
It was not possible to decipher what its thoughts or intentions were.
