Chapter 264: Logical or illogical?

Understanding her true core of thoughts, Anon found the naked beauty before him more and more beautiful.

In truth, even if she was the most gentle of women, radiating the purest feminine energy, that meant nothing to him...

What he really cared for was the authority she willingly gave him in their relationship.

Although this was a relationship that had only begun recently, for him, this could be considered a great start.

His celestial nature was so satisfied that his entire mood elevated, causing his voice to carry a hint of gentleness when speaking to her.

He said, "My willpower, Astaria, my willpower."

This was enough for her to understand his frustrations, but he sighed and continued, "I could’ve absorbed much more from the experience of sharing a consciousness with you, but my willpower could not bear it."

The three years could’ve easily stretched to thirty, but a Level Three Willpower, even with an abstract soul, was not enough to bear the burden of such a high state of consciousness.

Risking the destruction of his will and cultivation in order to accelerate the speed at which he enlightened his principles did not make much sense.

"Once I noticed this, I then realized that the act of forging a Level Four Willpower will be much more difficult than forging a Level Three Willpower."

Due to his abstract soul, unlike unfathomable souls, it was smooth sailing for him up until he established a Level Three Willpower, but to construct a Level Four Willpower would be anything but smooth sailing.

"Out of all the aspects that make up my strength, it’s my willpower that limits me the most, but nullifying this weakness is too time-consuming. After all, I still have another eight hundred and seventy-seven years of otherworldly consolidation to complete."

Astaria smiled upon hearing his frustrations, and she said, "With a Level Four Willpower, an abstract soul can obliterate unfathomable souls with only a glance; similarly, with a Level Six Willpower, a paradisical gaze can reduce an abstract soul to cosmic dust."

"Indeed, an abstract soul makes constructing a Level Four Willpower possible, but it doesn’t mean that it is an easy task. Even a Level Three Willpower is rarely established by those with unfathomable souls," she said.

Simultaneously, a translucent gleam enveloped her figure, and she continued by saying, "However, your abstract soul is unique, so forging a Level Five Willpower with it, though challenging, will only be a matter of time."

The light that enveloped her slowly dimmed, revealing a silvery dress that draped her frame.

She slowly rose to her feet, waving her hand and manifesting a shimmering table made up of marble, and two seats on either side.

Taking a seat, she observed Anon’s expressions as he too took a seat on the other side of the table.

"But by the time you form a Level Four Willpower, your otherworldly consolidation would’ve come to an end for some thousands of years. Such a length of time, for you, is truly too unbearable."

She sighed, looking into the distance.

’She’s waiting for me to praise her, isn’t she?’ Anon knitted his brows, but his lips curled upward.

Such a sly smirk caused Astaria’s countenance to change slightly.

Though he was only a realm father with the strength of an Entry-Level Dimension Lord, there were certain aspects of existence that he could make her regret teasing him like this.

She had experienced it firsthand in the process of expounding on the Dao.

After all, flowing within him was the blood of the Infernal god, so he was particularly good at exchanging insights.

Ahem~!

Astaria’s delicate lips trembled slightly before parting. She said plainly, "The solution is actually very simple."

Anon’s ears instantly perked up.

Seeing this, she didn’t delay any longer, saying, "Hypothetically, if you were to nurture a paradisical soul, not only would you instantly consolidate your otherworldly ascension, but forging a Level Five Willpower would be a breeze, much less a Level Four willpower."

Hearing this, he instantly clicked his tongue, rebuking, "A paradisical soul? Are you serious?"

How nonsensical was this?

Sensing his fluctuating mood, Astaria did not shy away; instead, smiling meaningfully, she said, "After sharing a sole consciousness, I believe that you know me too well to even ask if I’ll joke with you like this."

Anon was taken aback.

He couldn’t refute these words, but a paradisical soul?

To become an Overlord, the most important requirement was nurturing a paradisical soul. Too many Dimension Lords were stuck on this single hurdle.

When a cosmos forger’s inner cosmos is completed, transforming into an inner realm, a realm father is born. Such a transformation is only achieved when a theoretical infinite amount of energy is contained within the inner world.

The inner realm is akin to a miniature universe.

The Dimension Lord is naturally the one who has transformed this miniature universe into a full-fledged universe. This very act contains innumerable mysteries, but it is only such an entity that has the chance of actualizing a paradisical soul.

If an existence could not even nurture a genuine universe within their inner world, then actualizing a paradisical soul was nonsensical and completely illogical...

When one nurtured a paradisiacal soul, they would’ve immediately stepped into a higher state of existence.

To nurture a paradisical soul as a mere realm father... 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮

It was akin to stepping into Heaven with a single, mortal stride.

A mortal stride could barely cross a meter, much less the distance between Heaven and Earth!

Ascending Heaven with a single, mortal stride was impossible and improbable.

And so too was nurturing a paradisical soul in his current state.

At the very least, having shared a greater consciousness with Astaria and being granted access to an almost infinite amount of knowledge, this was the completely logical conclusion he had arrived at.

"Indeed, for one who is ascending the higher ranks of existence, being too knowledgeable is more so a curse than anything else," he mumbled this under his breath, revealing a mocking smile.

Thereafter, he burst into boisterous laughter.

Hahaha...!

This was a pained laughter, and he laughed at himself.

Then, not to anyone in particular, he asked aloud, "Weren’t you the one who transcended worlds with a second-world cultivation?"
