Snow Country, above the vast sea of clouds.
"What fresh air this is," Kyōsuke murmured as he strolled through the snow, looking for all the world like a nobleman out for a casual spring outing.
His bizarre behavior quickly drew the attention of two women.
"What is this..." The long-haired beauty furrowed her brows, her gaze seemingly piercing straight through Kyōsuke's body as if scanning every inch of him inside and out.
"A soul separation?"
"No... that doesn't seem quite right."
As an alien, she found it difficult to understand the principles behind the Shadow Clone Technique.
Of course, that was nothing unusual. There were many things she could not comprehend.
During one planetary invasion, she had once encountered a race of humanoid beings capable of fusing their bodies together.
That scene... truly defied all description.
"What a show-off." The gloomy girl, Fuyuki, struck the staff in her hand against the ground with a loud stomp. Her face twisted in disgust, as if she harbored a deep and bitter grudge against Kyōsuke.
She loathed any man who dared to draw near her revered lady.
"Stop right there." A wailing sound of the dead echoed out. Dark red flames surged and connected into a suit of armor, forming a majestic undead warrior, clad in armor that radiated a threatening aura.
With just a little perception, Kyōsuke could tell that this creature at the very least possessed chakra at the peak of Kage level.
While its strength was not too terrifying by itself, the real concern was not knowing how many more of these undead the girl could summon.
A hundred or so would still be manageable, but if they numbered in the thousands... that would be a serious problem.
"Well now, little miss, you've got some impressive tricks up your sleeve." Kyōsuke tried to ease the atmosphere with a lighthearted tone, hoping to establish a bit of rapport.
"Get lost." Fuyuki squeezed the words out between clenched teeth. If it weren't for her master's dislike of unnecessary killing, she would have already torn this wretched man limb from limb.
"You young girls these days really are a bit too hot-tempered." Kyōsuke shook his head with a twisted smile, deliberately provoking her with his words.
But in truth, he was well aware that the person standing before him was no young girl. She was, in fact, an ancient sister-in-law, so withered and dried out that, without her hair and clothing, it would have been nearly impossible to even identify her gender.
Then again, even that might not have helped. In the world of the shinobi, gender could not be reliably judged by appearance alone, not by hairstyle and certainly not by clothing.
"You bastard, you—"
Before she could finish, Kyōsuke's palm suddenly pierced straight through her chest. His hand pushed through layers of fat, brutally crushing Fuyuki's heart.
Even those at the Divine Flame level were not immune to injury. During the final battle, even Kakashi's Kamui-enhanced Lightning Blade had been able to draw blood from Kaguya.
The problem was, mere injuries only served to temporarily hinder someone at that level. They might slightly affect combat ability, but they could not be relied upon to achieve victory, let alone kill such a foe.
At the very least, someone below Divine Flame level would find it nearly impossible.
"Sigh... This is going to be difficult." Kyōsuke withdrew his blood-soaked hand, his expression tense. He knew that he did not even need the final boss to make a move—just facing this grim-faced old sister-in-law was already more than he could handle.
BAAANNG—!!!
Sure enough, before he could move away, her form was swiftly encased in undead armor. Fuyuki delivered a thunderous kick, sending the man who had dared to sneak attack her flying through the air.
The force behind her strike was so powerful that Kyōsuke's shadow clone nearly disintegrated on the spot.
It was important to understand that Kyōsuke only had one clone active. This meant it contained half of his total chakra.
And yet, even with that much strength, it had barely managed to endure a single blow from Fuyuki.
That overwhelming gap in power made him recall the sense of helplessness he had once felt when facing Otsutsuki Isshiki.
Clutching at his shattered internal organs, Kyōsuke muttered to himself in disbelief, "No doubt about it, the old sister-in-law's hands are as fierce as ever."
"You are not the original." The final boss, who had remained silent until now, suddenly spoke.
"Well now, what sharp eyes you have, young lady," Kyōsuke said with a teasing smile, attempting to provoke a reaction. Yet she remained completely unmoved, her expression as calm and unreadable as ever.
Considering her age as an Otsutsuki, it was likely she had toyed with more men than Kyōsuke had ever even met.
Assuming she changed partners every three days, that would mean 122 men in a single year. Over a hundred years, that's over twelve thousand. Over a thousand years, a hundred and twenty thousand. And if she had lived for ten thousand years... well, that would be 1.2 million.
Had Kyōsuke ever seen that many men in his entire life?
Probably not. Honestly, he wasn't even sure. Besides, it was entirely possible she was far older than ten thousand years.
"You scum!" Fuyuki finally lost all self-control.
Just as Kyōsuke had mocked, she truly was an old sister-in-law, sharp enough to see straight through the lewd intentions hidden in a man's gaze.
And to have someone use such a gaze to defile her beloved master... that was something even more intolerable than being humiliated herself.
Seeing that she was about to attack again, Kyosuke simply plopped down on the snowy ground, showing not the slightest intention of resisting.
He couldn't even handle one of them. How could he possibly hope to face what came next?
He had come here with three clear objectives in mind.
First, he needed to confirm the enemy's identity with his own eyes.
Second, he planned to use the destruction of his shadow clone as a way to transmit the gathered information back to his true self.
Third, and most important, was to serve as bait—using his presence to provide an accurate coordinate for a long-range strike.
"Now, now, let us not be so quick to fight," Kyōsuke said with a sly grin. "Why do we not have a nice chat first? Maybe share a few feelings, get to know each other a little better?"
---
Meanwhile, far away on the surface of the moon, within the grand Moon Palace.
"Quick, adjust the instruments," Maya called out, her voice firm as she oversaw the operation.
For years now, she had taken over the management of the Moon Palace, living here alongside Izumi's two children.
Just a short while ago, she had received word from the master: they were to launch the "Reincarnation Star Annihilation Cannon" at Earth, using the clone's location as the target coordinate.
The Reincarnation Star Annihilation Cannon was a terrifying superweapon, constructed from countless pairs of inferior Tenseigan.
Its concept was simple to explain. One could think of it as a greatly magnified version of the Super Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion.
Its destructive power was on par with the most powerful nuclear weapons from the previous world—except it was thousands of times stronger than even "Little Boy," the bomb that had once devastated Hiroshima.
If fired, the cannon would obliterate the entire Land of Snow, wiping it completely from history. Even more terrifying, it would cause tectonic shifts across the continents within thousands of kilometers surrounding the impact site.
The method was undeniably cruel, perhaps even inhumane, but compared to allowing the Earth to be entirely destroyed, this was the lesser evil.
At the very least, after the attack, they could summon the souls of the dead, and Yayoi could help recreate the bodies of the victims, restoring life to those lost in the blast.
She could even reshape their appearances in any way they desired, making them as handsome or as beautiful as they wished.
With each of her commands, the very structure of the moon seemed to tremble. A massive golden beam of light gathered in the distance. Seen from Earth, it appeared as though a second sun had suddenly ignited in the sky.
"FIRE!!!" Maya roared.
At that very moment, many members of the Uchiha clan felt it. When the Star Annihilation Cannon launched, it was as if the very orbit of the planet had shifted ever so slightly.
BOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!
The golden beam shot straight toward Earth, carrying a destructive force so immense that even the planet's climate began to react.
The thunderous rumble and the unnatural light in the sky quickly drew the attention of the three-person team still on the surface of the planet.
"What... what the hell is that?!" Fuyuki was dumbfounded, her eyes wide in horror.
She understood all too well that there was no way she could resist such a terrifying attack. The destructive power of this highly concentrated burst of energy far surpassed that of a planet-wide explosion. It could disintegrate her body down to the very cellular level.
Even someone at the Divine-Flame level of strength would not survive such a blast.
"I did not expect this planet to have such frightening methods." At the critical moment, Otsutsuki Sakishiki stood up.
A swirl of black and red energy gathered around her. From the center of her palm emerged an enormous two-handed sword that looked completely exaggerated in size.
"What the—?!" Kyōsuke's eyes nearly popped out as he watched her swing the weapon and send out a crescent-shaped energy wave straight toward the descending golden beam.
Girl, do you have some kind of ancestral connection to the Soul Society?
From a logical standpoint, the two energy forms were on entirely different levels. There was no way a black-and-red slash could possibly stop the golden annihilation energy.
Yet, the moment the two forces touched, something completely beyond comprehension happened.
The golden beam began to vanish.
Yes, it was not merely dissipating or breaking apart. It was being completely erased, as if every trace of its existence was being wiped from reality itself.
This was the terrifying power of one of the Twelve Apostles of the Law Enforcement Division, the Terminator, Otsutsuki Sakishiki.
