Naruto : Gamer System-Chapter 63 : Orochi-hime vs Hiruzen
Chapter 63 - 63 : Orochi-hime vs Hiruzen
"Long time no see, Hiruzen-sensei." Orochimaru suddenly explode forward and press a kunai to the Third Hokage's neck.
"I didn't expect it to be you, Orochimaru!" The Third Hokage quickly regained his composure after a moment of surprise.
"I always knew this day would come, but I didn't think you'd go so far as to impersonate the Kazekage."
Orochimaru stuck out his tongue and smirked sinisterly. "Do you remember what I said before, sensei? I told you to choose the Fifth Hokage early... because you're going to die here."
"Really? You think taking my head is going to be that easy?"
"Four Violet Flames Formation!"
The Sound Four appeared and erected the barrier, sealing off the battlefield. For now, the Third Hokage was isolated and alone.
Seeing the Konoha shinobi outside struggle against the barrier, Hiruzen muttered: "You've planned this well, Orochimaru... It seems you're serious about killing me."
"Of course. Those outside are of little use, but still troublesome."
Orochimaru lunged with the kunai—but two silent tears rolled from his eyes.
In that brief moment Orochimaru blinked, Hiruzen evaded and launched a counterattack.
After several exchanges, Orochimaru backed off.
"As expected of the Third Hokage... I knew it wouldn't be that easy. But now, the real show begins."
"Strange... you cry while trying to kill me?" Hiruzen gave a complicated look.
"No, I'm just sleepy. Tears from a yawn. Don't expect any more openings. I'll kill you today."
"Heh, I figured you'd say that... and I say this to you: You will die today, Orochimaru!"
After a brief stalemate, both sides struck at the same time.
Hiruzen threw a barrage of shuriken— "Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique!"
Shuriken filled the sky. Orochimaru calmly formed hand seals.
"I can't go easy on you, sensei."
"Summoning Jutsu: Reanimation!"
"This jutsu...!" The Third Hokage's eyes widened.
"I must stop him!"
"Earth Style: Earth Flow Spears!"
The third coffin was knocked over, but two emerged.
"Long time no see, Hiruzen."
"To meet you again under these circumstances... Hashirama-sama! Tobirama Sensei!"
"So this boy summoned us? Impressive," Tobirama muttered.
"Forgive us, Hiruzen. In this situation... we must fight you." Hashirama looked regretful.
"Enough chatter. I didn't summon you for a reunion." Orochimaru drove chakra-infused kunai into their heads.
"It's done. Now watch as Hiruzen-sensei meets his end. Hahaha!"
"Fire Style: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet!""Water Style: Water Wall!"
"Tch!"Hiruzen realized it was pointless to try and trade ninjutsu like this. His chakra reserves were low.
Still, he had no choice."Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet!""Earth Style: Earth Wall!"
No sooner had he cast those than Hashirama attacked again."Wood Style: Deep Forest Emergence!"
The Third Hokage was trapped.
"Summoning Jutsu: Enma!"
The Monkey King Enma appeared, scowling at Orochimaru. "This is what happens when you spare a snake like him."
"I'll finish it now!"
Enma transformed into a golden staff, and Hiruzen rushed forward.
Boom!He was knocked back by the combined force of Hashirama, Tobirama, and Orochimaru.
"You didn't even use a shadow clone... You've grown weak, old man."
Orochimaru's voice trembled, recalling the past.
"You once stood tall, summoning multiple clones, weaving triple-element ninjutsu, holding back enemy battalions single-handedly. I summoned the First and Second just to match that power... but now? You're a shadow."
Hiruzen gasped for breath.
"If I were even five years younger... the staff wouldn't feel so heavy..."
"You're pathetic, sensei. The god of Ninjutsu... reduced to this."Orochimaru tore off his face, revealing a youthful new one.
"...You... who are you!?""I'm still Orochimaru."
"You... you completed the that jutsu?"
"Yes. As long as the soul survives, I can take over a new body—this is my Reincarnation Jutsu."
"Aging is a disease... seeing you proves it. You will die here, and I will gain a new, younger vessel."
"Uchiha Sasuke..."
"Correct. I will mold him to my liking... then take him."
"You won't succeed. That boy won't follow you."
"Oh? I've seen the hatred in his eyes. Once I kill you, and show him my power, he'll come to me."
"Even so... you still have no chance."(Hiruzen knew Haruto and Sasuke would never betray the village.)
"Tch, no need for pointless talk. You're dying anyway." Orochimaru ordered Hashirama and Tobirama to close in.
As they advanced, Orochimaru could already see his teacher's death.
"Goodbye, Hiruzen-sensei." Unwilling tears welled in his eyes again.
Suddenly, a voice Orochimaru hated rang behind him.
"Long time no see, Orochimaru. To celebrate, I brought you a gift."
"Sage Art: Super Big Ball Rasengan!"
---------------------------------------------
Seeing that he had finally trapped the giant puppet on the opposite side, Shikaku Nara let out a long sigh of relief.
"Now we'll see if the jutsu Haruto mentioned can really make that much of a difference."
Suddenly, Shikaku noticed over forty Konoha shinobi moving toward the Suna-nin.
"What are they doing? Why not wait? It would be better to take advantage of the puppet's movements... unless they're absolutely confident in their strength."
Garuda halted about 200 meters away from the Konoha forces.
"There must be traps buried here, but they're useless against me."
He pulled out a black scroll and began to unroll it slowly.
"It's a hassle not being in the desert... but it doesn't matter."
"Release: Summon Gold Dust."
A torrent of black Iron sand poured from the scroll. In the sunlight, specks of gold glittered within the sand. These were specially refined metals, used to greatly amplify the power of Gold Dust.
"Magnet Release: Iron Sand Rain."
"This... this is the Third Kazekage's technique!" Shikaku immediately recognized it. He had seen this jutsu's power in his youth.
"Retreat!" the Konoha shinobi shouted, moving out of range quickly.
A moment later, the black sand rained down. Shortly after, blood bloomed on the ground—some Konoha ninja, hidden in ambush, had been killed.
"Damn it!" Shikaku cursed, helpless. The power gap was too large. He had suspected an elite jōnin might be among the enemy—but Konoha had no one on that level here. Even among jōnin, combat ability could vary drastically.
"Magnet Release: Dust Gold Giant Spear!"
The gold dust condensed into the shape of a spear, but Garuda didn't stop. He kept pumping chakra into it. The spear grew—over ten meters long and two meters thick.
With a roar, he hurled the massive golden spear at Konoha's camp.
"Earth Style: Earth Wall!""Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet!""Wind Style: Gale Fang!"
Despite unleashing powerful counterattacks, the giant spear barely shrank. It kept advancing.
Konoha's shinobi had no choice but to scatter.
Garuda smirked darkly.
"Split!"
The black spear fractured into a dozen smaller ones, accelerating as they flew.
"Ugh!""Aagh—!"
Caught off guard, more than a dozen Konoha ninja died instantly.
Satisfied, Garuda formed hand signs to retrieve the gold dust. Afterward, he panted heavily—clearly, the technique had cost him dearly.
"Still far from the Fourth Kazekage's level... I wonder how Lord Rasa is doing. If he's using his full strength, he must've slaughtered plenty of Konoha shinobi by now."
He glanced at his subordinates.
"No time to waste. Let's finish this quickly—we have to support Lord Rasa!"
Boosted by Garuda's power, the Suna-nin surged forward like rabid animals.
The war had officially begun. Ninjas clashed on both sides—kunai, shuriken, and ninjutsu filled the air. Small tactics and coordinated moves unfolded everywhere.
Though things were fairly balanced at first, under Shikaku's expert command, Konoha held a slight edge. But once Garuda rejoined the fight—especially with the giant war puppet back on the battlefield—Konoha's side fell into disarray. If not for Shikaku's leadership, they might have collapsed.
Still, he managed to hold the line for five long minutes.
"We made it... but where's Haruto? Has something happened?"
Haruto's absence deeply worried Shikaku. Though they had delayed the enemy, it had come at the cost of massive chakra expenditure. In the wild, they could have rotated squads and rested. But here, with no backup and no retreat, they were burning out fast.
If Haruto didn't give the order soon, he'd have no choice but to lead the enemy into the village. The east gate area had been evacuated—collateral damage was acceptable. Dividing the enemy through narrow streets would be better than a full frontal clash.
Finally, Shikaku contacted Haruto through Inoichi Yamanaka.
"Haruto, what's going on? We need you here—now!"
"There are traitors. I need more time to prepare. Just hold them off... for three more minutes."
"Three minutes?! We're nearly out of chakra! We'll suffer heavy casualties. I suggest luring them into the village and using our home-field advantage!"
A pause.
"No. If they enter the village, they'll scatter. The buildings will block my jutsu. I won't be able to unleash its full power."
"But... we're already losing people. If we wait, even more will die." Though Shikaku stayed calm, Haruto could feel his disapproval.
Haruto understood. He had miscalculated—both the enemy's speed and strength. And he underestimated the setup time for his technique. Inoichi and Shikaku's plan was reasonable and safe. A strategy should always have margins. But his plan didn't.
Because of his recklessness, people were dying.
"I know I made a mistake in command. We'll talk about it later. Just... hold on for another three minutes. That's an order."
He cut the connection and looked up at the sky.
"It's almost time."
In four corners of the village, four shadow clones of Haruto inhaled deeply.
"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!"
The blazing heat created updrafts, and the sky began swirling with thermal currents. Sparks flickered in the clouds.
Haruto drew Murasame, his chakra surging. A soft blue light began glowing along the blade. In the sky, the thunderclouds grew loud and restless.
"Soon... you'll understand what real fear is."
