Chapter 43 - Dojutsu Evolution

The next morning, after a simple but delicious breakfast prepared kindly by the Chinoike clan with the ingredients they provided, Tsubasa's group prepared to say goodbye to their generous hosts.

"Thank you so much for everything, Hiiro-san, Kyoka-san," Ozora said sincerely, bowing respectfully to the Chinoike clan leader and his wife. "You have received us very well in your village and helped us find valuable clues about the eagle we are looking for."

Hiiro smiled warmly, showing his pleasure at their visit. "You're welcome, Ozora-dono. We are happy to be able to help you. Besides, last night's party was also very lively and enjoyable for all of us. It's been a long time since we felt such joy and warmth in this valley." Kyoka nodded in agreement, smiling gently at Tsubasa's group.

Then, Hiiro sincerely offered further assistance. "If you still want to search for that eagle, I can take you through a secret path to the top of the valley, where those eagles are often seen. Only our clan knows about the existence of that hidden path."

Tsubasa was slightly surprised by the unexpected offer. "Wouldn't that be too much trouble, Hiiro-san? We don't want to inconvenience you any further," he asked politely.

"Not at all, Tsubasa-dono," Hiiro replied firmly with a confident gaze. "Besides repaying your kindness for the wonderful party last night, I also want to strengthen the newly established cooperation between our clans. An alliance with you would mean a lot to the future of our Chinoike clan."

In the end, the Yorozuya group, accompanied by Hiiro, left the forbidden valley through a secret cave perfectly hidden behind a rushing waterfall on one side of the valley.

The journey through the cave was quite dark and damp, with the constant sound of dripping water and the characteristic smell of earth.

However, Hiiro deftly guided them through narrow passages and slippery rocks.

After walking for quite some time in the bowels of the earth, they finally arrived at the end of the cave, which turned out to be right at the top of the valley cliff.

They continued their search for the eagle in the area around the windy valley peak.

Hiiro, with his deep knowledge of the area, confidently led the way.

After searching patiently for some time, and with Hiiro's accurate guidance about the eagles' habits and favorite locations, they finally saw a group of eagles that looked very similar to the white and blue-feathered eagle they had encountered two days ago.

The birds seemed to be resting peacefully near a small lake whose water sparkled in the middle of a vast meadow.

The lake was likely the main reason why the eagles chose that quiet and water-rich place to nest and raise their young, as water is a vital source of life for all living creatures.

They immediately concealed their presence behind large rocks scattered around the meadow and began to approach the group of eagles very carefully, moving slowly and silently so as not to startle them and make them fly away.

Tsubasa had prepared a well-thought-out plan to capture the eagles without harming them; this time, they came fully prepared.

After feeling close enough to the resting group of eagles, their group launched a swift but coordinated attack to incapacitate the flock.

Tsubasa took out a large scroll from under his cloak and quickly released its seal, revealing a transparent glass container filled with a purple paralysis gas that he had prepared beforehand.

The gas spread quickly through the air, carried by the gentle breeze, causing the eagles that inhaled it to become weak and helpless within moments.

After the gas spread and worked effectively, the eagle group began to slow down their movements and appeared to have difficulty flying. Some of them had even fallen asleep on the ground.

Tsubasa's group themselves had taken a special antidote beforehand, so they were immune to the effects of the gas and could move freely to secure the eagles that were beginning to lose their balance.

They used ninjutsu of various elements with the main goal of not killing the helpless eagles.

Ginga used the water element to create large, ball-shaped water traps. Kyoya used the wind element to direct the fainting eagles into these water traps. Benkei used the earth element to create temporary cages made of strong clay, while Hiiro tried to cast a light genjutsu on the eagles that were still conscious to make them calmer and not panic.

Finally, with solid teamwork, they successfully achieved their capture mission objective without any eagles being seriously injured.

Although not all the eagles were captured because some of them in higher positions managed to fly away before being affected by the gas, the number of eagles they obtained was more than enough according to their initial plan.

After that, they began to put the paralyzed eagles into large cages they had prepared beforehand.

The cages were made of strong iron and had special seals, ensuring the eagles could not escape easily.

While the others were busy putting the helpless eagles into the cages, Tsubasa wanted to go to their nests in the rocky area to check if there were any eggs left behind.

He hoped to get some eggs to take back to his village and hatch there.

He separated from his busy group and headed towards the rugged rocky area where the eagle nests were located.

Carefully, he climbed the rocks one by one.

When he saw several eagle nests made of dry twigs, he found several fairly large eggs left behind by their mothers.

Tsubasa smiled happily, as his plan was going smoothly.

However, just as he was about to seal the eggs into a special storage scroll, he didn't realize that great danger was lurking for him from another direction.

From the direction of the calm lake, in the depths of the lake, a large monster was quietly stalking them.

The monster was gathering a dark black chakra in its large mouth and aiming it directly at where Tsubasa was standing.

Then...

"BOOM!!!"

A massive explosion shook the entire valley peak area.

The ground trembled violently, and dust and rocks flew everywhere.

Tsubasa and a large area around him were completely obliterated by that sudden and incredibly powerful attack.

The force of the explosion was so great that it seemed to shatter Tsubasa into meaningless dust and fragments.

"Tsubasa!!!" "Tsubasa-sama!!!" Ozora and the others screamed hysterically in despair as they witnessed the terrifying explosion.

Their hearts felt like they had stopped beating due to overwhelming worry and panic.

They never expected such a powerful creature to be in this seemingly peaceful place.

They were all frozen in their spots, unable to believe what they had just seen.

Then, the mysterious attacker finally revealed its full form on the surface of the now turbulent lake.

A giant octopus with eight large dangling tentacles and a terrifying bull-shaped head emerged from the water, its glowing red eyes staring at their group with deep anger and hatred.

"You lowly humans, how dare you invade my territory!" it said in an angry and threatening tone that echoed throughout the valley peak.

The chakra aura emanating from the giant creature was enormous and terrifying, making their hairs stand on end.

They immediately realized that the creature before them was no ordinary animal.

It was Hachibi, one of the legendary nine bijuu possessing extraordinary power.

At that critical moment, an unusual change occurred in Ozora's chakra aura, especially in both of his eyes.

His golden Rettōgan eyes, resembling eagle eyes, suddenly seemed to shrink and change shape, and strange and unusual black circles and lines appeared in the area around them.

A significant visual transformation occurred in Ozora's eyes, radiating a power they had never seen before, a power that felt very dark and strong.

After the terrifying transformation was complete, Ozora shouted at the giant octopus monster with burning and uncontrollable rage, "How dare you kill Tsubasa, you disgusting monster!" Ozora's anger reached its peak due to the death of his beloved younger brother.

Then, slowly but surely, a glittering black diamond giant began to form around Ozora's body, growing rapidly until it resembled a sturdy and terrifying giant gundam.

Ozora's current position shifted to the chest area of the black diamond giant, as if he were controlling a very powerful war machine.

Inside the black diamond cockpit were also Ginga, Kyoya, Benkei, Hiiro, and several of the eagles they had captured, protected within the giant structure.

The giant pulled out two very large and sharp black diamond swords from its waist and began to attack Hachibi with powerful slashes according to Ozora's overflowing rage.

This was the first shocking attack from the black diamond giant against Hachibi.

Hachibi looked utterly shocked by the sudden and unexpected appearance of the black diamond giant.

It never expected that the small human it thought could be easily crushed would actually possess such great and terrifying power.

Although surprised, as a Bijuu, it still reacted quickly, nimbly dodging the giant sword slashes aimed at it.

But it seemed to be a little too late, because one of its large horns was cleanly cut off by that very fast and powerful slashing attack.

Hachibi's horn seemed destined to be cut off, even though the person who cut it off in this world was not the Raikage.

After that, a fierce and devastating battle ensued between the black diamond giant controlled by Ozora's rage and the furious Hachibi.

The two giant creatures attacked each other with full force, shaking the entire valley peak area with every clash of their power.

The black diamond giant unleashed several more sword slashes aimed at Hachibi's body, while Hachibi gathered a large amount of chakra in its mouth and aimed a terrifying Bijuudama at the black diamond giant.

However, with incredibly fast and precise movements, the black diamond giant slashed the Bijuudama heading towards it with one of its diamond swords, splitting it into two large parts that then exploded violently behind the giant, creating a powerful shockwave.

The amazing defense and counterattack of the black diamond giant made Hachibi even more shocked and furious.

Meanwhile, some time ago, right after the massive explosion occurred, in a place not too far from the explosion site, Tsubasa reappeared on the surface of the ground with his 'Venom' mode active.

Apparently, thanks to his quick reflexes and 'Venom' protection, he managed to survive Hachibi's terrifying Bijuudama attack.

"Ah.. that was very dangerous, I almost went to the other world for the second time," Tsubasa exclaimed with relief but still a little shocked and trembling because of the immense power of the Bijuudama attack earlier.

Then, just as he was about to emerge and tell his group that he was alright and safe, he sensed some strange and drastic changes in his older brother's chakra in his perception.

The changes were very significant and powerful, far different from the Ozora's usual chakra he felt.

Then, he saw the scene of the ongoing battle between the two giants from a distance.

"Did Brother's hidden potential finally awaken?" Tsubasa muttered in a tone of admiration and curiosity.

He had never seen such power come out of Ozora's body before. "What kind of power is that?"

"Is the trigger similar to the trigger for the Sharingan's awakening?" he thought to himself, trying to find a logical explanation for Ozora's sudden and extraordinary transformation.

He remembered that the Sharingan could also awaken due to very strong emotions.

And Ozora's current body also possessed a small part of Uchiha Madara's genes.

Tsubasa decided not to appear and interrupt the battle just yet.

He wanted to see how far his older brother's potential had developed and what he could do with his new power.

He also felt that his appearance at this time might disrupt Ozora's focus on the fierce battle that was taking place against Hachibi.

Tsubasa carefully observed every movement of the black diamond giant, trying to understand its strengths and weaknesses.

He saw how Ozora, with his sharp fighting instincts, was able to control the giant very well.

The battle between the black diamond giant and Hachibi continued with high intensity, both attacking each other with incredible full power.

Tsubasa felt proud to see his older brother able to unleash such great power, even in a very dangerous and high-pressure situation.

However, he also felt a little worried about Ozora's mental state, because this transformation seemed to be triggered by immense anger and could easily get out of control.

Tsubasa prepared to step in and help his older brother if the situation became too dangerous for Ozora and the other team members inside the black diamond giant.

However, he still gave Ozora a chance to face Hachibi with his own power, hoping this would be a very valuable experience for the development of his older brother's power in the future.

This decisive battle would soon reach its climax, and the tension continued to rise towards the end of the fight between these two giant monsters.
