Naruto: My Hiddden Village-Chapter 45: Waiting Clients
Chapter 45 - Waiting Clients
Several months had passed since the fierce battle that shook the forbidden valley of the Chinoike Clan.
The Yorozuya team finally resumed their journey to travel around the ninja world.
Their next destination was the Land of Lightning.
Their journey from the Land of Fire to the Land of Lightning several months ago had been briefly interrupted in the tranquil Land of Hot Water.
It was there that they encountered a lightning eagle full of potential, an unexpected meeting that triggered a series of unforeseen events, including the thrilling confrontation against Hachibi.
Now, they had arrived in the Land of Lightning.
Upon arriving in the Land of Lightning, life for the Yorozuya team was relatively calm.
They carried out their daily missions as a Yorozuya team, with no major missions or incidents befalling them this time.
Although the missions seemed trivial, the Yorozuya team always approached them with professionalism and full dedication.
They realized that for the person asking for help, no matter how small the problem, it was still important.
With the experience they had gained so far, they completed each mission easily and quickly, leaving smiles of relief on their clients' faces.
Now, their Chapter of travel in the Land of Lightning had come to an end.
They repacked their equipment, ready to head to the mysterious Land of Water, an archipelago surrounded by vast oceans that held various secrets.
However, before reaching their final destination, they had to pass through the Land of Waves, a small country located between the Land of Fire and the Land of Water archipelago.
"Doton: Doryuu Taiga!" Benkei suddenly exclaimed, breaking the afternoon silence.
Swiftly, he used his earth element ninjutsu, creating a surging river of mud flowing towards Ozora. The ground around Ozora instantly turned into a sticky and sucking swamp, causing his legs to sink up to his knees.
"Suiton: Suijinheki!" Ginga wouldn't be outdone. He followed up with his water element ninjutsu, creating a towering wall of water behind Ozora, blocking his movement. "Don't expect to escape, Ozora-sama!" he shouted with enthusiasm.
"Fuuton: Reppushou!" Kyoya also joined the attack. With agility, he used his wind element ninjutsu, creating a high-pressure wind palm that sped towards Ozora from the side.
"This isn't over yet!" Kyoya yelled.
Then, Ginga and Kyoya exchanged glances and nodded simultaneously. They began performing another set of hand seals very quickly, and then a rotating water spear and a rotating wind spear appeared in front of their mouths.
"Combination Ninjutsu: Tatsumaki Suijin!" they shouted together.
They combined their wind and water attacks, creating a powerful whirlpool in the middle of the mud swamp created by Benkei. The whirlpool spun faster and faster, ready to engulf the struggling Ozora.
Ozora, surrounded by his three friends, initially wanted to use the black diamond giant power like when he faced Hachibi a few months ago.
He closed his eyes, trying to recall the sensation of the extraordinary power that had once flowed within him.
He tried to imagine the figure of the black giant that had protected him and his friends from danger.
However, like several previous training sessions, he failed again.
The mysterious power seemed to have fallen into a deep sleep, reluctant to return.
He felt a strange emptiness within him, no longer the strange chakra surge that had once enabled him to awaken that immense power.
So, he only had one option to get through this situation: avoid the deadly combination attack from his friends.
With all his might, he leaped out of the mud swamp just before the whirlpool hit him squarely.
He landed awkwardly on the dry ground, gasping for breath like a fish that had just been pulled from the water.
"Huh... huh... huh..., failed again," Ozora muttered in frustration, wiping the cold sweat that drenched his forehead.
"What exactly is happening? Why can't I use that power anymore?" He clutched his chest, feeling his heart pounding not only from physical exhaustion but also from deep disappointment.
Tsubasa, who had been calmly observing the sparring match, finally spoke up after seeing his older brother look like he was about to reach his limit. "Alright everyone, our training is enough for today," he said in a flat but concerned tone.
He sighed softly, feeling a slight worry seeing Ozora continuously fail to awaken his power.
"Don't keep making that frustrated face, Brother. Sooner or later you'll definitely be able to use that power again," Tsubasa tried to encourage his older brother, who looked gloomy after failure after failure.
He approached Ozora and patted his shoulder gently, trying to offer moral support. "You are a great ninja, Brother. I'm sure you'll get that power back."
"That's right, Ozora-sama! You just need a little more time to remember how!" Ginga added with his signature wide smile.
He approached Ozora and patted him on the back with enthusiasm. "Don't give up, Ozora-sama! We are all sure you can do it!"
"Maybe Ozora-sama's power is in a 'bad mood', like Benkei when he doesn't get extra ramen!" Kyoya quipped with a chuckle, glancing at Benkei with mischievous eyes.
Benkei immediately glared at him with a sharp look.
Kyoya raised both his hands, showing a feigned innocent expression. "Just kidding, Benkei! Don't be so serious!"
"Hey! What does that have to do with me?!" Benkei crossed his arms over his chest, making a funny pout. "I never get 'bad mood' because of ramen! I just... really appreciate ramen!"
"Alright you guys. Come on everyone, it's time for us to go back, the sun is almost setting," Tsubasa ended the conversation, pointing to the sky that was beginning to turn golden orange.
He smiled thinly at the funny interaction between Kyoya and Benkei.
Actually, Tsubasa probably knew the reason behind Ozora's repeated failures.
After using his 'Giant Brain' ability to help analyze his older brother's situation, he came to a fairly reasonable conclusion.
Most likely, Ozora's failure was caused by the memory seal he had placed on his older brother's head a long time ago.
'It seems it's almost time to consider removing that seal,' Tsubasa thought to himself while looking at the twilight sky with a thoughtful gaze.
He knew that Ozora was getting increasingly frustrated with his inability to access his power, and perhaps it was time to reveal the truth to him.
However, he was also worried about how Ozora would react to the dark reality that had befallen him back then.
'Hopefully, the memories of our time together so far, coupled with Rui-san's presence, can help him endure,' Tsubasa thought.
So far, through his careful observations and in-depth analysis, Tsubasa had concluded what types of powers Ozora had awakened when fighting against Hachibi.
The first was a new ability that appeared in his Rettōgan eyes.
The Rettōgan, in its normal state, had an additional ability for long-range vision, similar to the Byakugan of the Hyuga Clan.
Although perhaps not entirely accurate when compared to the Byakugan's capabilities, the Rettōgan's ability was more akin to significantly enhanced eagle-like vision.
Ozora could see objects from a very long distance with amazing detail, but unfortunately, he couldn't penetrate solid objects like walls or see through illusions.

So, basically, this power allowed Ozora to have super sharp vision at long distances as long as the object he was observing was not obstructed by anything.
Out of the many abilities that Ozora awakened at that time, this was the only ability that Ozora could still use freely, while the other abilities were still as if sealed.
The second was Ozora's unique Kekkei Genkai, which was most likely successfully awakened thanks to the Kongo Clan's genetic heritage flowing in his body.
This Kekkei Genkai was different from the usual Crystal Release possessed by the Kongo clan.
Ozora's power had evolved into a harder Dark Diamond Element.
Yes, the black diamond giant that Ozora used at that time was not a Rettōgan ability, but rather a manifestation of this extraordinary Kekkei Genkai.
Although the hardness of this black diamond far exceeded ordinary diamonds, it shouldn't have been enough to face Hachibi like that time.
The reason this Kekkei Genkai became so powerful at that time, besides the Dark Diamond Element being inherently very hard and difficult to destroy, there was another additional reason that made it even more formidable.
That additional reason was the ability gained from the evolution of the Rettōgan eyes.
If the Sharingan evolved into the Mangekyou Sharingan, it would increase the user's basic illusion abilities; the Rettōgan, after evolution, would grant abilities that were even more terrifying.
Because simply by opening the evolved state of the Rettōgan, Ozora could gain a significant increase in almost all the ninjutsu he used.
So, at that time, Ozora's Dark Diamond Element received an extraordinary boost from the evolved Rettōgan.
That boost was so great that a black diamond giant resembling a perfect Susano'o could be created, providing unparalleled protection and attack power.
And even more amazingly, unlike Mangekyou Sharingan users who risked losing their eyesight, Ozora didn't have to worry about going blind after using this power.
The last, and perhaps the most dangerous, were two special eye techniques similar to the unique abilities of the Mangekyou Sharingan.
In Ozora's right eye was an eye technique that could drastically increase the sharpness of an object.
While in his left eye was an eye technique that could increase the hardness of an object to unimaginable limits.
With these two terrifying eye techniques, Ozora's Dark Diamond Giant had the potential to become far stronger than the Uchiha clan's Susano'o.
Because besides the Dark Diamond Element already being very hard, Ozora's attacks could become much stronger and more deadly thanks to the increased sharpness from his right eye technique.
Especially if the hardness of the Dark Diamond Giant was further strengthened by his left eye technique.
Perhaps this could be called the true embodiment of the strongest spear and the strongest shield.
A truly extraordinary combination of power!
While thinking about all of his older brother's potential power in his head, Tsubasa finally arrived at the Yorozuya team's temporary rented office along with the other team members.
And when they arrived there, there was a man and a woman who looked to be in their thirties waiting anxiously in front of their office door.
Their faces looked rather worried.
'Looks like there's another mission,' Ozora thought to himself with a soft sigh.
Seeing the two people looking so anxious, Ozora took the initiative to greet them kindly.
"If you two need something from our Yorozuya group..." he said while opening the office door, "...please come in, and let's talk inside more comfortably." He invited the couple in with a sincere smile.
After everyone entered the office and sat down on the available chairs, the two people began to introduce themselves in a nervous tone.
The man's name was Hayasaka Yuuto, while the woman sitting beside him was Hayasaka Nanami.
They were a married couple.
After a brief introduction, they immediately explained the purpose of their arrival to the Yorozuya group in trembling voices that showed how desperate they were.
"Please find and save our daughter!" Nanami pleaded, shedding sad tears that wet her cheeks.
"Yes, I also earnestly beg for your help!" Yuuto added in an equally desperate tone while bowing deeply as a sign of sincere request.
"Wait a moment," Ozora interrupted in a calm but attentive tone, trying to soothe the clearly panicked couple.
"Tell us more details about your situation, how old is your daughter, and how did she disappear?" Ozora asked gently, trying to get clear and structured information so they could help the search more effectively.
Then, Hayasaka Yuuto, who looked slightly calmer than his wife, began to explain the situation that had befallen his family in a voice that still sounded anxious and trembling.
In his explanation, their beloved daughter had disappeared from their home that morning.
His daughter was still very young, not even two years old yet.
His daughter's name was Hayasaka Airi.
He explained that when the incident occurred, he was working hard in the fields, earning a living for his family.
Only his wife, Nanami, was at home at that time.
Nanami was in charge of taking care of Airi at home, as they always did.
However, when Nanami went to the kitchen for a moment to make warm milk for Airi, something unexpected and terrible happened.
Airi mysteriously disappeared, leaving no trace, no sound, and no cries.
After realizing that her daughter had disappeared without a trace, the panicked and confused Nanami immediately searched for her husband in the fields hysterically.
They both searched everywhere, going through every corner of the house and yard, even asking the nearest neighbors, but Airi was still not found.
The longer they searched without results, the greater the despair that gripped their hearts.
Finally, with the last flicker of hope almost extinguished, they decided to come to the Yorozuya office.
They had heard rumors from their neighbors about a specialized ninja team that took on search missions, hoping the Yorozuya team could be their last hope to find their missing daughter.
End of Yuuto's explanation.
