Hidan swung his signature triple-bladed scythe with flair, clutching the Evil God necklace hanging from his chest. A crazed grin curved at the edge of his lips.

"I won't lose to you." Hidan grinned maniacally, turning it into a competition between him and Tobi over who could locate the Three-Tails first.

Meanwhile, Guren and Yuukimaru had returned to the room, seemingly ready to withdraw from this chaotic world. But reality rarely respected such decisions. Their peaceful seclusion was about to end.

"I'm just a clone. Naturally, my physical strength doesn't match the original. I need to be cautious. My tolerance is low—if I take even one hit, I'm done." The clone decided to remain hidden. He was aware that Guren and Yuukimaru might influence the Three-Tails, but Zetsu's presence worried him more.

"The most likely explanation... Akatsuki is here. But why didn't Zetsu take action?" The clone couldn't figure it out—Zetsu's sudden appearance and disappearance made no sense.

Soon, Tobi appeared near the cabin after wandering for some time. He strutted arrogantly, muttering to himself like a street performer.

"Oh my, how rude~ Ahahaha." Despite the injuries, Tobi acted as if nothing happened. He even touched the crystal that had pierced through his head, laughing like a fool.

Behind the door, Guren recognized this threat and didn't waste time. She grabbed Yuukimaru and bolted out the window.

"Looks like I win this round, Senpai!" Tobi wobbled as if turning into mist, phasing through the crystal projectiles and dashing after them.

"Is that his ability? Or some kind of special ninjutsu? A kekkei genkai maybe?" The clone narrowed his eyes. "Is it spatial phasing? A high-level genjutsu? I can't tell yet."

Tobi chased Guren, while the clone followed him from a distance, maintaining surveillance.

Guren, despite her abilities, was still a woman carrying a child, and fatigue caught up with her. Tobi closed the distance fast.

"Hah...hah...you're so fast. That guy behind you—can he really summon the Three-Tails?" Tobi played dumb, still acting like a clueless clown.

"I won't let you take Yuukimaru!" Guren shouted, her breath ragged. Pink crystals flared around her, spreading across the ground. She launched various crystal-based weapons toward Tobi, flooding the air with gleaming projectiles.

The crystals clashed midair, forming shimmering clouds of pink dust. Under the sunlight, the airborne fragments looked like floating stardust, breathtaking in beauty.

"So... pretty..." Yuukimaru murmured in awe behind her.

Unfortunately, the scenery was ruined by the reappearance of Tobi—completely unharmed, standing right in the middle.

"Can this guy really phase through space?" Guren gritted her teeth, recalling how he shrugged off her earlier attacks.

Then Tobi demeanor changed. He stopped clowning around. His single visible eye under the mask glowed blood-red—sharingan activated. Silent, he stared straight at Guren.

From the treetop, the clone could clearly see the air around Tobi warp slightly, and then—like a wild beast—he lunged. Ignoring Guren entirely, he reached directly toward Yuukimaru.

"You're underestimating me!" Guren roared. This bastard had sinister intentions from the start. There was no way she'd let Akatsuki take Yuukimaru.

Shōton: Ryūshō Gekkō no Jutsu (Crystal Release: Crystal Dragon Subjugation Technique)!

A giant pink crystal dragon erupted from beneath her feet. Its tail shielded Yuukimaru while its head lunged forward alongside Guren to strike down the enemy.

But Tobi phased through it like it wasn't even there, going straight for the boy.

"Damn it!" Guren cried, forcing the dragon to launch her forward. She landed beside Yuukimaru just in time.

She slapped a hand on Yuukimaru's back. Red crystals rapidly sprouted around him, encasing him in a crystalline coffin for protection.

Tobi halted his pursuit, while Guren maintained her guard.

From the distance, the clone finally decided it was time to act. If he didn't intervene now, the key to the Three-Tails might fall into Akatsuki's hands.

A cold wind blew through the forest, scattering leaves and fragments of pink crystal. It made no sound—but both Guren and Tobi felt a sharp sting against their cheeks.

When they snapped back to reality, a masked figure was already standing among them.
