Ian's reaction was the complete opposite of what the Rajas had expected. They thought he would pause for a moment and consider his next steps. ๐™›๐š›๐™šewe๐—ฏ๐“ƒ๐—ผัต๐šŽฦ–.๐’„๏ฝ๐ฆ

Unfortunately for the Rajas, they knew too little of Ian and of his influence in the business circle.

Ian smiled and laughed, sending chills up their spines as they realized their mistake.

"You can't say I didn't warn you." Ian picked up his phone and dialed a number.

They had all expected that he would call Cedric, but much to their surprise Ian had not.

"Mr. Yun!" Ian excitedly greeted over the phone. Ian glanced at Jasmine's uncle Roland who had turned pale at the mention of the man's name.

Ian knew from the top of his head who the Ortegas were working closely with. In the past he had hoped to help them, but upon discovering that they were involved with the Rajas, he couldn't help but go off script and deal them a dangerous blow.

"Mr. Lim, I am surprised that you have decided to give me a call. The last time we spoke you seemed to be unsure of our partnership." Mr. Yun was clearly elated to take Ian's call.

"Yes, yes, I was quite worried about clashing with some businesses of people I know." Ian told the man as he observed Roland's and Jasmine's reactions.

It was clear that both were trying their best to control their expressions as well to stop themselves from giving in to whatever Ian wanted.

He also looked at the other men around the table, he was trying to figure out who truly led the Rajas. Ian refused to believe that more than one person called most of the shots.

He knew people like them well enough. They wouldn't be satisfied if someone was equal or better than them.

"So I am assuming that you have allowed that bridge to burn?" Mr. Yun asked Ian as he could hear people whispering at the other end of the line. It was clear that Mr. Yun was not alone.

He had probably asked for his people to take a look at who Ian had been avoiding to clash with.

News of Ian's and Guan Ming's new found friendship had already spread throughout the various social circles both locally and in Guan Ming's home country.

Everyone was eager to get business deals with either Cedric or Ian in the hopes that the two men would talk about them around Guan Ming.

"The winds have shifted, Mr. Yun." Ian said with a chuckle as he continued to watch Roland and Jasmine. "How soon can you terminate the deal with them?"

"Hmmm, from the names I have here it is the Ortega Group that we are currently working with." Mr. Yun informed Ian, making sure that it was the right group that Ian wanted done away with.

"That's right." Ian said as he smiled at his guests. "The Ortega Group. How soon?" He asked, sounding as impatient as possible.

At the moment he didn't care if Mr. Yun would call him names behind his back, he knew that the man would be forced to sing him praises in public.

"I will have someone give them a call as soon as we end this one. To whom should I send the contract to?" Mr. Yun asked as he did his best to appease Ian.

"My assistant will contact you. I look forward to doing business with you, Mr. Yun." Ian told the man as he bid him goodbye and ended the call.

"How much for Mr. Yun to end that contract he has with you?" Ian asked Roland who was now red with anger.

"Five hundred thousand dollars." It was Jasmine that responded. She knew how angry her uncle was at that moment and didn't trust him not to further offend Ian.

Ian smiled, knowing that Roland was partially blaming Jasmine for whatever was to come as a result of Ian's retaliation.

"It was a long term contract that you had recently signed with them, wasn't it." Ian said with a grin as the phone began to ring.

Roland's hand was shaking as he noticed the name on his phone's screen.

"Answer it." Ian commanded the man. "And put it on speaker mode, I want to hear this."

Roland slowly nodded as he did as Ian asked and placed the phone on the table in front of them as he answered the call and placed it on speaker.

"Mr. Yun, what a surprise that you would call me today. I thought you weren't due to call for at least a month." Roland said as he struggled to make everything sound like it was normal.

"Ah yes, Mr. Ortega, I just called to inform you that we will be canceling our contract with you immediately." Mr. Yun said as quickly as he could, clearly eager to get it done with.

"WHAT?!" Roland shouted. Despite having known that Ian had convinced the man to end the contract, he didn't believe that Mr. Yun would do as Ian asked. "Do you have any idea how much this will cost you?"

"We are well aware of the repercussions. A much better opportunity presented itself, we hope you will understand. Good day." With that Mr. Yun dropped the call, leaving a stunned Roland Ortega staring at his phone. ๐™›๐”ฏ๐’†e๐”€e๐—ฏ๐“ท๐—ผ๐˜ƒe๐š•.๐’„๐—ผ๐—บ

"Who have you become?" Jasmine asked as tears began to fall from her eyes.

Ian's expression remained unchanged as he shrugged and texted his assistant to contact Mr. Yun for the details of their deal.

In the end, it was Ian that still came out victorious.

"Enough!" One of the older men with them said in a stern tone, making Jasmine sit back down.

Ian couldn't help but smile as the man let himself be known.

"You planned this, didn't you?" The man asked as he observed Ian.

"Of course, uncle William." Ian said with a grin. The man that was in charge of the Rajas was a man he had grown up around.
