"You are back." The Fragment came forward and revolved around Grey.

"Did the Dao of Rebirth reject you?" The Fragment asked with a chuckle. "Do not worry. I forgot to tell you, but convincing a Dao to make a contract with you is very hard."

Grey looked at it with a deadpan expression.

"I didn’t form a contract."

"It is alright." The fireball floated to Grey’s head and patted him slightly with its fiery hands.

Grey waved his hands and swatted the Fragment away, sending it shooting to the ground.

"Never do that again." Grey glared at the Fragment of the Heavenly Dao. "But I think you should see this."

As he said that, Grey highlighted the interface and projected the Creator Invocation space.

"What?" The Fragment immediately became dumbfounded.

"You... you just said that you did not form a contract, didn’t you?"

"I am not sure if I formed a contract or not," Grey replied helplessly. "I stated my intent and it just trembled in the void for a second. Then I was back here with the Shattering Realm fully ready to use."

"Wait. Let me see your soul."

The Fragment shot into Grey’s body and arrived inside his soul. Immediately, a flabbergasted expression appeared on its fiery face.

After coming out, it stammered. "Y-You... what did you do to the Dao of Rebirth? Did you threaten it into giving you its power?"

"No! How is that even possible?" Grey looked completely baffled.

Threatening the Dao of rebirth, isn’t that basically asking for instant death?

"It did not ask you for a contract and I do not sense one either."

"Since when did the Great Daos become generous?" It did not know whether to laugh or cry. "No, the Great Daos do not even know what generosity is!"
