Grey felt his body fluctuating for an abrupt second before he and Fragment fell right into the Abyss.

The first thing they noticed after entering was the sheer corruption and evil permeating this world.

The sky was a sickly grey, and the sun here took on a pale shade of white.

Below them was an entire planet. It was not the size of the Azure Origin Planet, but it was almost the exact scale of the Blue Star.

As soon as Grey crossed over to the other side, warning sirens blared across the entire planet.

Within the security department of the Abyssal planet, several Abyssal beings sat in their chairs with communication devices strapped to their faces. A giant screen in the center of the room was currently zooming in on Grey and Fragment.

"Intruder! Someone has breached the planes of the Abyssal Dimension."

"Should we report this to the higher echelons?"

"We cannot do anything without confirmation from Lord Modred."

"Lord Modred’s status is still missing in action."

"The threat’s energy levels cannot be identified."

"He looks like a human, but his energy signature also matches an Abyssal being."

"How interesting." Grey smiled as he looked at the Abyssal planet down below.

He realized there was technology here. It was just as advanced, if not more advanced, than the Blue Star’s technology. Within seconds, his cognitive anchor had already rushed into their entire database. All the information and technological aspects of the Abyss were being relayed to his mind right now, including the panicked chatter the Abyssal beings in the security department were having.

"Hey Fragment, we should troll them," Grey suddenly said with a laugh.

"What?" Fragment looked at Grey in confusion.

"Just observe."

As he said that, Grey directly cut through space and instantly arrived inside the security department.

"What?"

The staff in the security department immediately jumped up in fright.

"You... how did you get in here?"

Just then, the Head of Security stepped forward. He was a 4th Ranker with a lean physique and a sharp horn protruding from his head. He looked at Grey carefully.

"This presence... are you a mighty Abyssal Lord, sire?" The Head of Security trembled in fright.

"That is right. I am a true Abyssal Lord." Grey nodded, putting on the air of an absolute expert. "Modred has died, and I am now taking over this planet."

"Taking over this planet?" the Head of Security repeated with a dumbfounded look. "Does that mean Lord Modred and his entire army are dead, sir?"

"That is right." Grey nodded with a heavy sigh. "It was a tragic death. The enemies overcame him, and I was not able to make it in time to save him."

The others in the room were bewildered.

They held mixed feelings. Did that mean Lord Modred would never come back? He was their lord, after all.

"Then, Lord, do you have a Seal of Appointment from the Abyssal Palace? You must have one on you to assume command, right?" the Head of Security asked in a respectful but probing tone.

Grey’s expression immediately darkened.

Damn. Why were there so many bureaucratic requirements to become a lord in an evil dimension? This was not cool at all.

"I might not have a seal from the Abyssal Palace, but Modred died in my arms. He personally entrusted this planet to me. I will naturally fulfill his dying wishes."

"But it is impossible for you to become the ruler without the seal, my Lord," the Head of Security said with a frown, his suspicion growing.

"Oh? I cannot?" Grey asked innocently.

Grey stepped forward and slapped him across the face.

"..."

The entire room fell dead silent at the sight.

"Are you sure I cannot?" Grey asked again.

"Yes. I am certain," the humiliated Head of Security said with a concrete, stubborn look on his face.

Grey slapped him again, kicked him in the knee, and then proceeded to thoroughly beat him up right in front of his subordinates.

The other staff members were entirely dumbfounded seeing this unfold. Was this new lord not acting a bit too petty and extreme?

But Grey, on the other hand, was enjoying it.

Every single Abyssal being held one ultimate goal: the total destruction of the Endless Reality. He had already reviewed the Lesser Heaven’s memories. Every Abyssal being was under the absolute control of the Abyssal God. The God’s hatred for the Endless Reality was ingrained into the very soul of every Abyssal creature from birth.

In essence, the Abyssal beings operated much like a massive hive mind. The Abyssal God saw everything through their eyes.

In fact, Grey did not doubt that the big boss was watching this exact scene right now. That was precisely Grey’s intention. He wanted the Abyssal God to see this. He was directly provoking the absolute lord and overseer of the Abyss.

"Is he not going to come out?" Grey stopped kicking the guard and adopted a bored look. "Then, I will just swallow this planet and move on to the next one."

"What?" The Abyssal beings hearing this sported stunned expressions.

Then, Grey slowly unleashed his Lesser Heaven Halo.

"Does this ring a bell?" Grey pointed at his glowing halo and asked with a dark chuckle.

"L-Lesser Heaven?" The Abyssal beings present instantly dropped to their knees in terror.

The number one rule when encountering a Lesser Heaven was to greet it with absolute submission. But since when did a Lesser Heaven form a human-like personality?

"But, Lord Lesser Heaven... what you said earlier..."

"What about it? I am going to swallow everyone here, and this planet as well." Grey stared at them with deadpan eyes.

It was an eye for an eye. Grey only needed to consider one thing to justify his actions: would the beings here hesitate to take the lives of his human loved ones?

The answer was a resounding no.

Therefore, he would do exactly the same to them.

A terrifying surge of power burst out from him as his figure flickered and teleported out of the room.

Reappearing in space, he eyed the planet beneath him with an indifferent look. His full power swiftly expanded, beginning to engulf the entire globe.
