Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven-Chapter 384: Become an Idol
At the same time, far across the cosmos, several spacecrafts that looked straight out of a sci-fi movie shot through outer space. They headed straight toward what appeared to be a cluster of connected planets: three distinct worlds, yet naturally and seamlessly joined together by the landmasses of the planets themselves.
Within this tri-planet formation, in a quiet corner cabin, a girl with an extremely beautiful face, white-blue hair, and a cold gaze sat on a plush sofa. A small robot came forward, handing her a drink. She took it and downed it in a single gulp.
This girl was none other than Alissa.
’I should’ve left him a message or something,’ Alissa silently mused in her mind as a young man flashed within her vision. ’But everything happened so abruptly, and now I have directly entered the starry sky. I will first try to find Father and then find a way back to Blue Star to bring him here as well.’
Just then, the cabin doors slid open. A man sporting a black hat, dark shades, and a gray goatee stepped into the room.
"Hello. You must be Alissa, if I’m not wrong?"
He adjusted his glasses, his tone shifting to business. "I will get straight to my point. The reason I, the head of the Entertainment Commission of the Pan-Cosmic Human Alliance, called you here is for one simple thing."
"I have taken a liking to you. The way you handled those young masters from the neighboring planets alone speaks of your bearing and personality. I see a future within you."
He leaned forward slightly with a polite smile. "Alissa Lockhart, become an idol."
"What the starry sky needs isn’t warriors or violence, but entertainment!"
....
Meanwhile, somewhere far away on the other side of the infinitely stretched starry sky, panicked voices echoed within the void.
"Everyone, something urgent has happened!"
"What is it?"
"The Soul Lamp of the young master... i-it’s lit up again!"
"What?!"
...
"So there was really someone behind this," Lia said with a frown.
"Yep," Grey said with a nod.
"But we should meet them soon. They are most likely within the locality of this world."
"No matter what sort of being that was, he shouldn’t be someone who has evolved to become a being stronger than the universe itself."
"Evolving to become a being stronger than the universe itself." Lia sighed upon hearing this.
The words alone defied common sense. But where she came from, someone like that couldn’t even be considered a lesser being.
"By the way, you should go visit Sister Valeria," Lia said after thinking about something.
"You should already know what’s happening with her, right?"
Grey simply nodded.
Valeria had been forcefully sent into the ice walls to merge with the origin core there to break down the barriers. She was successful with the ice wall breaking, leading her to enter an assimilation process much like Grey’s own.
However, accidents were bound to happen.
Being only a second ranker, Valeria had a soul that wasn’t developed enough, nor did she have the domain force to handle the immense pressure. The assimilation process almost ended her life, but the World Will utilized its power to save her in the nick of time. It had been slowly developing her soul, and after months, it had stabilized, allowing her to truly begin the assimilation process. But soon, another problem arose.
It was a problem related to her bloodline and the Everhart family as a whole.
He still vividly remembered the World Will’s words.
"Valeria has a phoenix bloodline."
"But phoenixes are naturally born at the fourth rank, just like how dragons are born at the fourth rank in our world."
And so, Valeria, who was a high human, was now facing compatibility issues.
This compatibility issue stemmed from the fact that she chose the high human transformation technique to become a second ranker. She had not used a phoenix transformation technique to bring out her phoenix bloodline as the user of the heavenly fire.
And on a side note, Grey didn’t know any phoenix transformation techniques either.
Fortunately, nothing bad would happen to Valeria, aside from the fact that she wouldn’t be able to use her origin core unless she became a phoenix herself.
She could easily live as long as a normal fifth ranker.
"Then, let’s pay a visit to her," Grey looked at Lia and spoke.
"We?" Lia shook her head.
"Since you recognized my intentions, you should have already realized Sister Valeria’s intentions." Lia hesitated before speaking.
Grey paused upon hearing this.
"I know Sister Valeria loves you too, and you should’ve already realized this by now," Lia said with a sigh.
Before Grey could say anything, Lia shot forward and hugged him tightly.
"You are a man of miracles. You possess a comprehension that cannot be treated normally, and you managed to reach the level of a fifth ranker, which takes others thousands of years, in just a few months of becoming an evolver. If this got out, then the entire world would turn upside down. That’s how different you are from others."
"And I’m proud of you for that." Lia stared into Grey’s clear eyes with profound affection.
"Being this unique and powerful, having more than one wife is common. I know and fully understand this fact."
"Initially, I wanted you all to myself, but after spending time with Sister Valeria and us enjoying our days in the mansion, it made me realize that being greedy won’t get me anywhere."
"Besides, Sister Valeria and I already knew that we both held feelings for you. We had a lengthy discussion about it before."
"If it’s Sister Valeria, I don’t mind," Lia said with a gentle smile forming on her face.
"But I will tell you this once, Grey. If the number exceeds ten, then I will break your bones," Lia said with a playful but sharp glare.
"Now go see Sister Valeria. I’ve been occasionally visiting her, but she still hasn’t shown signs of waking up yet. Maybe you might be able to help her."
"You... why are you so understanding?" Grey couldn’t help but pull Lia into another tight hug.
Lia was probably one of the greatest things in his life.
She was his precious little girlfriend.
With that said, Grey parted from Lia with a tender kiss on her forehead and headed off to visit Valeria.
