Nine Revolutions Star Transformation-Chapter 727 - 747: Probing
Kong Feifei’s injuries had mostly healed by this time. Seeing Chu Linfeng appear, she was both surprised and delighted. She didn’t mind what he said but instead smiled and said, "I’m surprised you’re still alive. That lightning strike was so powerful, and you were right under it. How did you survive that ordeal?"
Anyone would question how Chu Linfeng survived; it’s nothing short of a miracle, a huge miracle. Kong Feifei didn’t care about her bedraggled appearance at this moment. If she looked at herself carefully, she’d surely scream or fly into a rage.
Her whole body was charred, much like how Chu Linfeng was after being struck by lightning. Her clothes were tattered, revealing some of her skin in several places, including one particularly notable spot. Chu Linfeng was staring directly at it.
"You know my speed. Although the lightning was terrifying, I dodged it at the last moment. Still, I was severely injured and came to find you as soon as I recovered. I knew you weren’t transported away. Aren’t you moved?" Chu Linfeng said with a smile.
Kong Feifei didn’t notice Chu Linfeng’s gaze. "I remember hearing a dragon’s roar shortly after I flew away. What was that about, and is that scorpion dead?"
"Oh, you know about dragons? There shouldn’t be any dragons in the Netherworld. As for the scorpion, it must be dead. Under such immense Power of Thunder and Lightning, even a Venerable Martial Realm expert couldn’t survive, let alone a Fire Attribute nether beast." Chu Linfeng said, a mischievous look on his face as Kong Feifei shifted, making that certain area even more obvious.
Kong Feifei glanced at Chu Linfeng and noticed the grin and look on his face, and immediately felt something was wrong. She looked down, realizing that certain part was exposed to him, and felt at a loss despite there not being much showing.
Even more frustrating was that she only just realized the state of her body, and her face grew hot. "Haven’t you seen enough? Turn around, or do you want me to get angry?"
"Alright, alright, I won’t look. It’s a miracle we survived, but now you really should clean yourself up. Otherwise, seeing an unparalleled beauty like you turn into a little beggar is hard to accept." Chu Linfeng said with a laugh.
Unexpectedly, Kong Feifei didn’t fly into a rage. She covered herself and said, "The place is full of sand. We should leave and find somewhere with water."
"Getting water is easy. I can bring it to you anytime, but you haven’t answered my question. How do you know about dragons? Have you seen one?" Chu Linfeng asked.
"The Netherworld definitely has dragons; they’re powerful nether beasts known as Nether Dragons. They rarely show up, and not many people know about them. I was fortunate enough to encounter one with my father once, and he battled it for a long time before it left wounded.
By the way, you said you could get water. How would you do that? Are you going to summon it?" Kong Feifei asked.
"Smart women are easy to get along with. Of course, I can summon it. How about a shower right now?" Chu Linfeng said with a grin.
"No way! Wouldn’t that mean you’d see my whole body? Nice try, but I’m not falling for it." Kong Feifei retorted immediately, glaring at Chu Linfeng, who just wouldn’t change his ways.
"You can wear clothes. What do you take me for? Wouldn’t you rather not appear like this in front of others? You’d be utterly humiliated." Chu Linfeng said with a laugh.
Kong Feifei was stunned for a moment. Chu Linfeng had a point. She was curious about how he would get water and vowed not to let him off if he was lying.
"Do you promise not to peek? Or are you lying to me?" Kong Feifei asked seriously, looking at Chu Linfeng.
"Haha, I’ve already seen your body. Why feign shyness? Also, lying to you serves no purpose. We’re likely the only ones left in this Land of the Dead, and we need to work together to find a way out. Why would I tick you off and then try to figure things out alone?" Chu Linfeng said.
"You... you scoundrel!" Kong Feifei said angrily, frustrated that he had seen her body yet unable to do anything about it.
Just then, Chu Linfeng summoned the Water Transformation technique, and a water stream appeared, dousing Kong Feifei and drenching her thoroughly.
Kong Feifei’s surprise was possibly no less than when she saw the lightning. Chu Linfeng was amazing, able to summon a water stream instantly. Although she knew some people with a natural Water Attribute who could gather Water Element Molecules to form droplets, she never imagined someone could directly turn them into a stream, leaving her in disbelief.
"Why are you just standing there? Start washing quickly! Do you think this water stream is easy to produce? It’s consuming as much energy as battling a master." Chu Linfeng said immediately.
Kong Feifei nodded, turned her back, and began washing quickly, cleansing the black off her body. Chu Linfeng, a bit frustrated, wanted to see what she looked like drenched but could only see her back.
"I’m done. You wait here. I’ll change into clean clothes!" Kong Feifei said, flying off and disappearing quickly.
Chu Linfeng suddenly had an odd idea of watching her, an act even more thrilling than being close to a woman. He knew the consequences would be severe if she found out, but once the thought occurred, it rooted deeply, and he couldn’t shake it off.
He immediately used Instant Teleportation and quickly found Kong Feifei but then activated Earth Transformation to hide in the sand and slowly approached her.
Just as Chu Linfeng thought he could see her, Kong Feifei suddenly said, "Little rascal, I knew you were up to no good. Did you really think I’d change clothes here? Come out now, or do you want me to get angry?"
Chu Linfeng was taken aback. How did she discover him? It seemed impossible, but he wasn’t completely aware of the Nether Race’s unique abilities, so she might have really spotted him.
Just as Chu Linfeng was about to reveal himself, Kong Feifei continued, "Maybe that rascal didn’t come after all. Maybe I’m just paranoid." With that, she started taking off her tattered clothes...
