NTR Massage Parlour: A Wellness Technique Guide-Chapter 267: The Toll Ledger
"Me and Izumi?" He repeated, thrown off by the question. "Why would you think there’s something going on?"
"Don’t play dumb with me," she said, eyes fixed on him. "That day she spoke to you like you two had met before."
Yohan paused for just a second before finding his footing.
"That’s because of Freddie. We ran into each other a couple of times through him, and exchanged a few words. Nothing more than that."
She looked at him for a long moment, not quite convinced but not ready to push further either.
"Hmmm."
"Why are you even asking like this?" he said. "You think I’d harm her?"
Something shifted in her expression. The suspicion softened, replaced by something she didn’t seem to want to name.
"No." She glanced away. "Just forget about it, let’s just do what we came here for,"
The training session today was different from the last time, it focused more on Yohan’s footwork, improving his movement pattern and fighting style.
Yohan picked up everything she taught at an amazing rate, fighting techniques came naturally to him because he already had full control and understanding of his body. It allowed him to imitate her skills and make them his in a matter of just a few hours.
At the end of the day, Yohan was throwing high kicks and fists like a pro.
"I don’t think there’s anything else I can teach you," Jenna was forced to admit.
Fighting was all about keeping your eyes open and reacting with the most efficient move possible, once someone mastered that foundation there wasn’t much to teach except in specialized martial arts.
"Right now, just with knowing the basics you are already as skilled as a pro fighter, with the strength and speed of seven more,"
"But aren’t you going to teach me some kind of martial arts?" Yohan sounded almost disappointed.
"You don’t need things like that. At your level, they’d only hold you back. Every martial art you’ve heard of was built around the limits of the human mind and body. Those limits don’t apply to you... so learning them would only slow your progress." she explained.
"Oh," he said flatly, "in that case thanks for all your help,"
"You’re welcome," she blushed then replied softly.
A few seconds passed before he spoke again, "Have you thought about what we spoke off?"
"Yes,"
"And?" Yohan asked.
"And I’ve decided to help you," She looked at him like it took a lot of guts to arrive at this answer, "I’ll give you all the information you need to get to the ledger you’re looking for,"
"So it really does exist?" He was stunned that she actually agreed.
"Yeah, he calls it his ’Toll Ledger’. He doesn’t take it out often but it exists, I got to know because my name is in it,"
"What exactly is in the book?" Yohan wondered.
"Lots of things, like his entire operation chain along with debts owed that he must collect in service or cash, even if you die,"
"So why was your name there then?"
Jenna exhaled with a heavy heart, "My father used to work for Hatoru. He ran away with some money and started a family, Hatoru found him and killed him. I was only 11 at that time so he took me with him as payment,"
"He killed your father?" Yohan was surprised and disheartened to hear, "Then why are you still working for him?"
"Because he has my name in that book, along with the location of my two sisters and mother. He could kill them at any moment so I have no choice but to follow orders, until I pay up everything" she said painfully.
"If my father hadn’t stolen then he wouldn’t have died, and things would have been a lot different. I blame him for everything," Jenna said painfully.
"So now you see why I was hesitant to help at first, because it’s not just my life that is at risk, my entire family is at the mercy of that monster,"
After Jenna explained the full picture to Yohan, he indeed couldn’t blame her. She was currently protecting her family, and had been doing it since a very early age. No child should have to bear that responsibility.
"I’m sorry you had to go through all that, especially since you were so young"
To think she was snatched away as a child and forced to work like this. She protected other people all her life until that was all she knew, it was sad even for Yohan.
"It’s fine, sometimes we grow up even before we are meant to," she sighed ever so calmly, "Hatoru’s Toll ledger should be somewhere in the villa, I’ll give you the map and exact location but I can’t go in and get it for you,"
"Okay," Yohan nodded with understanding
"There’s a safe, so you’ll have to figure it out on your own," she added
"Don’t worry about that part," he said with a confident smile, "The password is Izumi’s birthday,"
Jenna was surprised, but still doubtful, "How do you know?"
"Roman told me, he said Hatoru mentioned it by accident,"
"Can you trust the words of a gangster like him?" She asked.
"Not really, but it didn’t seem like he was lying. I guess we’ll find out when I get there,"
"Okay," she agreed, "There’s one more thing, a small code book that Hatoru always carries around, without it the information in that ledger would make no sense,"
"A code book?" His voice went lower.
"Yes, the ledger doesn’t use real words. It uses codes that map to meanings in the codebook,"
"So we need to steal it off him..." his brows pressed down as he reasoned.
"Yes, and that is going to be very difficult because he takes it everywhere with him, even when he’s sleeping. I can try and get it myself, but I don’t think I can get close enough without getting caught,"
"It’s fine, I wouldn’t want to put you in any danger. You are already doing enough,"
He pushed a strand of hair behind her ear, and planted a soft kiss on her cheeks.
