Off Work, Then Transform into a Magical Girl-Author’s Words
Hello, dear PawRead readers. I am the author of this novel, Hu Yan.
Thank you for reading my work. I am honored to share my story with you through online serialization. I sincerely hope that you will enjoy the present and future chapters.
This chapt𝓮r is updat𝒆d by ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom.
Since I am willing to write a novel, it is enough to show that I am a person with a strong desire to express myself. Facing my first time being published, I actually wanted to include many thoughts, but after careful consideration, I decided against it. Isn't it better to write more of the main content?
When you're just trying to make great content at bit.ly/3iBfjkV.
The remaining content is my self-introduction. Let me briefly talk about my writing career. In my earlier years as a student, I used different pen names to create some free anime fan works on a popular website (back then, fan works couldn't be published). However, due to injuries, studies, and other reasons, I stopped writing and withdrew from the community. It was only recently that I couldn't resist my own daydreams and picked up the hobby of writing web novels again.
Although I can be considered an experienced writer in terms of the years I have been writing, the creative process I went through with fan works did not allow me to develop good skills in plot structure and pacing. After years of hiatus, my writing skills and deductive abilities have regressed, which is quite embarrassing. So, I can only call myself a novice writer.
This work, "Off Work, Then Transform into a Magical Girl," or as I originally planned to name it, "A[LI]CE," is actually a challenge and attempt for myself. I have created a relatively complete outline and setting for it, and I have also left many foreshadowings in the early stages. I hope they will support me in completing this book.
Therefore, if we consider being signed and published as the equivalent of traditional print publishing (it seems like I'm giving myself too much credit), then this book can be considered my debut work.
Thank you to all those who are willing to support and subscribe to my debut work. Your subscriptions will be my first royalties in life.
If you have endured the light novel translation style, the excessive use of meaningless adjectives, and the plain plot arrangement in the free chapters, which were actually painful for me to write but stubbornly attempted, I can only say thank you for your patience.
Although I promise to make efforts to improve in a positive direction, these elements will probably still be present in my writing for a short time. I apologize to the readers who dislike these elements but still give me a chance to continue reading. I sincerely appreciate your tolerance and patience.
If you say you like these elements, well, then maybe we are already kindred spirits.
After all, although this book is full of flaws that I am aware of, it is truly a product of my serious contemplation and creation. It means a lot to me if you are willing to like it.
Before the book is officially published, this is also the first time I have had such an experience in my life. I am actually very nervous and excited, regardless of the outcome. This emotional experience is precious to me.
So, that's it for my personal introduction. Now, let's briefly talk about the updates.
Because I am actually a corporate slave, most of the time I write after work when I get home, so the irregular update schedule has always been a problem. During the worst period of my daily routine, I went without enough sleep for several days.
The universal requirement for web novels is to update 4,000 words per day, which is not easy for me. I write slowly and like to put a lot of thought into small details, nitpicking. I hope the words I present to readers can at least keep me engaged, even if they are not magnificent.
I will try my best to adapt to this update rhythm. However, compared to the mindset of chasing update quantity during the initial release period to compete for recommendations, after being published, I will prioritize quality and take responsibility for the money readers spend on subscribing. So, if there are times when I can't write enough to reach 4,000 words, I hope you can understand.
As for tomorrow's update, I will have a small burst of energy and update with 6,000 words, or even try to reach 8,000 words, in order to conclude this current section of the plot. After that, it should be a more interesting storyline compared to the present.
Finally, I would like to express my gratitude once again to the readers who are willing to pay to subscribe to this book. Your support will be the driving force for me to continue writing. I also apologize to the readers who have reached this point and are preparing to leave. I'm sorry that my work did not meet your expectations for paid content.
Let us witness the upcoming story together and meet again in the epilogue of Volume 1.
