It was hard for Lin Huahua to bear the sight of blood and what was worse was to even touch it. In the past even her brothers wouldn’t even let her tend to her wound.

Talk less of little their little sister tend to another person’s wound.

Sigh I miss my brothers.

Lin Huahua pouted only for a second then she turned her full attention back to Hu Baiyu’s wounds.

It’s just cleaning off some blood it shouldn’t be that hard.

Lin Huahua squeezed the fur, and while it was still damp she started using it to clean Hu Baiyu’s wounds.

She was so gentle with him that both males who barely have any interaction with themselves had to look at each other and silently communicate.

One thing was for sure this was no longer the Lin Huahua they knew. They did not know if she was possessed or maybe she hit her head somewhere.

But they knew this was not the same person as the little demonic rat princess that tormented them every day.

Hu Baiyu was a bit uncomfortable with the way he lay down because he was tense about Lin Huahua being so close and scared to make a wrong movement.

But now that things were like this he decided to move a little so he’d be in a more comfortable position.

But the moment he moved he let out a little groan because he was in pain and Lin Huahua immediately panicked.

"Are you ok? Did I press to hard, am I doing it wrong" Lin Huahua looked at Hu Baiyu with worry and he felt his heart squeeze.

He was about to assure her that he was fine, till he felt soft hands around him from panic and he changed his mind.

His eyes moved a little. He looked at Lin Huahua and something inside him became greedy.

He did not know if he by doing this he would be asking for too much. He did not know if she would get mad when she found out. She used to hit him for breathing too loud, so he really was not sure what she would do now.

But he still wanted to try.

So he let out a small painful sound on purpose, just to test her.

Lin Huahua jumped like a scared little rat. Her eyes went wide. Her mouth opened a little.

She looked so worried that Hu Baiyu almost confessed immediately and told her he was lying. But he wanted to see her face a little more, so he stayed quiet.

He pointed weakly at his chest.

"Here? Right here?" Lin Huahua asked panicking as he eyes darted to a spot on his firm broad chest.

Her soft hands went there right away. She started touching him gently. She cleaned the blood that was not even there anymore. She blew warm air on his skin and her face was so close he could feel her breath.

Hu Baiyu felt his whole lion heart melt. He wanted to roll around like a big cat because he had never felt this happy. His tail on the ground even twitched a little. He hoped she did not notice so she wouldn’t stop.

And Lin Huahua went there too, she blew on it softly hoping that was make things better.

She tried cleaning it softly and had to hold back tears.

She could only think that life her was really hard. How did people in this era survive with advanced technologies. She really felt bad for them.

Hu Baiyu was losing his mind. He wanted to grab her waist and pull her close. He wanted to press his forehead to hers. He wanted to kiss her. He did not care that Feng Yiren was there. He did not care about anything. He just wanted her hands to stay on him forever.

Feng Yiren watched all of this and his fox ears slowly pressed flat. He could not lie to himself. He hated every second of this. His tail behind him even puffed a little because of how irritated he felt.

Why was she touching Hu Baiyu like that and she blowing on him. She even looked so soft and was acting like Hu Baiyu was dying when he was clearly enjoying everything.

Feng Yiren could feel something hot in his chest. It felt like jealousy. Even though he hated this little rat princess.

He did not like that she was so close to Hu Baiyu, he wanted to pull her away she say that Hu Baiyu could clearly clean himself on his own.

Lin Huahua was still worried. "Are are you sure you are ok? does it hurt here? what about here? do you want me to clean this part again?"

She even leaned closer and Hu Baiyu almost stopped breathing. His eyes fell to her soft pink lips and he immediately had to turn away.

But Feng Yiren almost lost it the more Hu Baiyu pretend to be in grave pain. He could not take it anymore.

He stepped forward and cleared his throat loudly.

Lin Huahua looked up in surprise.

Feng Yiren pointed his chin at Hu Baiyu.

"You are doing everything wrong. I will do it for you"

Lin Huahua blinked because she did not understand. She looked at Hu Baiyu again. He panicked a little because she was about to stop, so he grabbed her hand quickly and shook his head.

Then he remembered he was not supposed to touch her. He let go right away like he had touched fire. His ears lowered and he looked scared because he thought she would be angry.

But Lin Huahua only felt sad. She thought he was in pain again, so she nodded.

"I understand. Let Feng Yiren help you. I will stay here so you do not feel scared."

Hu Baiyu looked at her with soft eyes. His fingers twitched because he wanted to reach for her again, but he stayed still.

Feng Yiren stepped closer with a sly smile. He loved the way Hu Baiyu glared at him. He took the fur from Lin Huahua’s fair hands. He even smirked at Hu Baiyu again just to annoy him more.

Then he started cleaning Hu Baiyu’s wounds.

Except he was not gentle at all.

He pressed too hard on purpose. He rubbed too fast. He cleaned with the energy of someone who hated his patient. Hu Baiyu almost jumped off the floor because it hurt so much. This time the pain was real.

Lin Huahua frowned. Something was wrong. She could feel it. But she was not from this world. Maybe this was how beastmen treated wounds. Maybe this was normal. She could not prove anything so she stayed quiet.

They finished after some time and Feng Yiren threw the dirty fur aside like it offended him.

Lin Huahua sighed and quietly called her system in her mind. She wanted to speak to her father. She needed help. She needed answers. She needed a way out of this strange place.

But before anything could happen, a loud, sharp voice came from outside.
