Hao Ren left the trio to focus on the various aspects of the ceremony while he headed in the secluded room where Han Lingshi was cultivating. She was consolidating her foundation so it was not a serious stage where Hao Ren’s presence would cause disturbance to her. The young lady opened her eyes sensing him and asked, "What happened?"

Hao Ren shrugged and replied, "I wanted to consult you about the names of the two little ones."

Han Lingshi nodded with a smile and said, "Actually, I have thought about the names for a long time. I may have held back from looking inside me but the life source multiplication was obvious so I knew that it would be twins. So I had come up with two names, however, with the blessings of the four Holy beasts, I have no idea what to do now."

Hao Ren nodded, after the situation had changed a lot after the blessing and now the names that Han Lingshi had thought about, they would not do justice to the ethereal aura that the two newborns commanded. They seemed to have grown up lot after the assimilation of the blessings.

Hao Ren thought for a while and said, "How about we call them something based on their blessings?"

Han Lingshi thought for a second and asked hesitantly, "Is that not too simple?"

Hao Ren shook his head and replied, "That name would be for the people to use, we can always use some nickname for them. Also this way if we ever use the full name, that would be to clarify that we are mad on them."

Han Lingshi smiled and replied, "You sure you would get mad on them?"

Hao Ren nodded and said, "If they troubled you, yes, I would be pissed and none would be able to save them."

Han Lingshi chuckled as she walked over to him and put her arms around his neck, and said softly, "Thank you."

Hao Ren held her waist to support her and smiled, "Thank you."

He leaned down and kissed her gently. The system said, *Congratulations, you have laid down the line that your wife will take the precedence over your children and displayed that you are a good husband, but you were serious about getting mad on your children who don’t understand much. That was your fooly after all, it is your job to teach them better, thus you are rewarded with a couple of longevity locks, made from meteor gold and helps the children nourish the physique and barrier against evil souls.*

The young man put this thought to the back of his mind and focused on the situation ahead of him. He asked, "So, what do you want to name them?"

Han Lingshi leaned against his chest and thought for a bit before she said, "I have thought about it and I have decided that we can call our son, Hao Xuanshen."

Hao Ren thought and nodded as he said, "The profound stillness, the supreme state of Dao Heart." 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Han Lingshi nodded and said, "Very perceptive of you, yes, that is what I wish for him. I wish that his Dao Heart stays still regardless of what he faces in the future."

The young man nodded and asked, "What about the little treasure?"

Han Lingshi nodded with a smile and said, "I want you to carve the profound protection jade pendants and bracelets for them."

Hao Ren bowed his head and said, "As you command, Your Majesty, now that you have given birth, we have to organize a ceremony so that the people can come and bless the children."

These words caused his wife to frown as she asked, "Is it not too early to do this? What if someone harbors ill intent against the children?"

That said, Han Lingshi went to spend more time with the children. It was not right to hand over newborns to the grandparents directly. Hao Ren on the other hand, took out the carving knife and began to shape jade stones into bangles and pendants for the children. His speed was fast and his craft was top notch. He carved the holy beasts on each of the bangles.

Four bangles with four different holy beasts on them, and then on the inside he cast formations that would allow the bangles to change the size on their own, and also to provide protection from poisons and attacks.

Then he handled the pendant before carving the spiritual protection arrays on it. The pendants were made in the shape of flowers that Han Lingshi liked. The young man smiled and then he also headed over to play with his children.

Two days later, the entire empire was shocked. They received the news that the Empress had given birth to twin treasures and they were named, Prince Xuanshen, and Princess Yanling.

The citizens were all happy, and they cheered. All the cities organized various celebration feasts, and they even organized lantern festivals. The government sponsored them but the people denied such aid. They were happy from the bottom of their hearts that the Empress and the Emperor had children of their own.

However, the government also passed a decree that if anyone disrespected Prince Yang, Princess Yin or Princess Agnee, then they would be punished severely. This cemented the fact that the empress and the emperor loved everyone equally without discrimination. After all, which ruler would still give the adopted children the same rights and heavy responsibilities when they have children of their own.

While the empire was bustling, the Royal Palace was brimming with a lot of guests, all were stepping up to give gifts and blessings to the two children who were looking at every one curiously. The ceremony continued and gifts kept piling up and at this moment, a middle-aged man walked over and knelt in the center of the throne room, as he said, "Ye Jian, has seen the Emperor and the Empress. Long Live!"

The people were shocked but not the Ye Generals, they knew that Ye Jian would come back, when he would come back that was something they didn’t know. However, Ye Jian lining the return with this joyous day signified how much he regarded Hao Ren.

Hao Ren waved his hand and the man was forced to stand up. He said, "You missed quite a lot. Tonight we will catch up, also, along with Ye Si, you will be responsible for watching over these two. Do you have any objections?"

The man shook his head and replied, "I accept, your majesty. Thank you for the honor."

Hao Xuanshen looked at Ye Jian, and giggled. His voice echoed in the throne room, and Han Lingshi smiled widely. She was happy that her son liked Ye Jian, perhaps he would grow up to become a sword saint as well.

The ceremony continued and the events last for two days in a row. The entire empire was lit up for three days. The lanterns were flown for three days, and the incense was offered to Han Lingshi without holding back. The people prayed for her quick recovery and the incense helped stabilize her realm as well.

The ceremony came to an end, and Hao Ren was sitting in the garden with Hao Yunling in his arms, he rocked the little baby while playing with her, as he tried to make her sleep. However, the little one was giggling and moving her arms around non stop.

Hao Mei stood at the side and asked, "What do you plan to do now?"

Hao Ren shrugged his shoulder and said, "I have no idea. I cannot grow stronger till I have gone to the Eternal Battlefield and for that to happen, we need to increase the average cultivation ratio. Just so you know, don’t manipulate this, because from what I have heard, we need to go to the Eternal Battlefield once we have stepped into the Heavenly Soldier realm.

So, we should not all breakthrough at the same time. Some should suppress themselves. That way, we will have a better chance to ensure that some of us would be able to uphold the values that we have cultivated. The younger generation of Ye Generals shall do it."

Hao Mei nodded and said, "That sounds good, I will see to it."
