The trainers’ eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets.

"The game is over," Lilly declared with icy indifference.

"Gyarados, [Outrage]."

Vroom—!!!

A visible, terrifying crimson aura erupted from Kaido’s body like a volcanic blast! His eyes were instantly dyed a blood-red hue as a wave of pure, overwhelming pressure swept across the entire arena!

"ROAR—!!!!"

Kaido let out a roar of absolute fury. His massive frame transformed into a streak of black lightning, vanishing from his spot instantly!

In the next second, he materialized directly in front of Victreebel! Without any flashy techniques, he delivered a massive [Dragon Tail] sweep at a speed that defied logic.

BANG!

Victreebel didn’t even have time to shriek before the sheer force sent it flying. It slammed into the distant arena railing, its eyes rolling back as it was instantly knocked out.

"My Victreebel!!" its trainer screamed in disbelief.

But Kaido’s offensive did not stop! 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

His massive body traced an elegant yet lethal arc through the air. His dragon head, wreathed in a tyrannical aura, slammed directly into Nidoking!

Nidoking’s rugged body felt as though it had been struck head-on by a high-speed train. It was launched out of the ring, tracing a long parabola through the air before crashing heavily into the ground, incapacitated.

Finally, only Golem remained—the one with the fourfold type advantage!

"U-use [Rollout]! Stop him!"

Golem’s trainer, pale with terror, screamed at the top of his lungs. Golem curled its body into a giant stone ball, hurtling toward Kaido with a momentum meant to crush everything in its path!

However, Kaido simply lowered his massive head and met the charge head-on!

BOOM—!!!!

A thunderous explosion echoed, making the hearts of the spectators skip a beat! The black demon dragon and the grey stone ball collided violently in the center of the arena.

The result left everyone speechless! The moment the spinning stone ball made contact with Kaido, its high-speed rotation was forced to a dead stop. Then, it was brutally repelled by an irresistible, terrifying force!

Golem flew backward like a billiard ball, moving even faster than its initial charge. It tumbled past its own trainer and rolled across the ground before coming to a stop, its eyes replaced by dizzying spirals.

Ten seconds!

The four-way brawl had concluded in the most direct, shocking, and unreasonable way possible.

A deathly silence fell over the stadium. Only the black demon dragon remained, hovering above the field as he let out a roar of victory.

Inside the Indigo Plateau Stadium, tens of thousands of spectators remained immersed in the shock of the previous match. Ten seconds! In just ten seconds, that black dragon had ended a four-way brawl with absolute dominance!

"Unbelievable! This is undoubtedly the fastest preliminary match in the history of the Indigo Conference!"

The announcer’s voice was raspy with excitement.

His gaze moved through the crowd, landing on the girl in the black dress standing alone in the corner.

"Finally, I get to face you."

A fierce fighting spirit burned in Alain’s eyes.

In the face of Alain’s challenge, Lilly only lazily lifted her eyelids to glance at him. Her gaze was cold and hollow, as if she were looking at a dead man.

She let out those two words and walked straight past Alain without stopping. Alain’s smile froze. He didn’t sense any fighting spirit from her—nothing a trainer should have. He felt only a crushing, abyssal coldness and tyranny that made his heart skip a beat.

Who is this girl?

"The first match of the semi-finals! Alain versus Lilly! Start!"

The two stood at opposite ends of the arena.

"Go! My strongest partner! Charizard!"

Alain threw his Poké Ball. In a flash of red light, an orange Charizard appeared with a roar, the flame on its tail burning fiercely.

Lilly simply raised her hand.

"Come out."

BOOM—!!!

The black demon dragon descended once more! Its tyrannical aura clashed violently with Charizard’s fiery fighting spirit in the center of the field. The air itself seemed to solidify!

"Let’s go! Let’s surpass our limits!"

Alain raised his left hand, and the Key Stone on his wrist glowed brilliantly!

"Charizard! [Mega Evolution]!!"

"ROAR—!!!!"

Charizard let out a sky-shaking roar as the light of evolution enveloped it! Its form was reshaped within the light!

Its orange skin turned a deep greyish-black, while its belly and the underside of its wings turned sky-blue. Two plumes of blue fire erupted from the corners of its mouth like the breath of a demon!

Mega Charizard X! Its attributes shifted from Fire/Flying to Fire/Dragon!

"Ohhhh! It’s Mega Evolution!"

"Alain is going all out from the start!"

The audience was instantly set ablaze!

"Come!"

Alain pointed at the black dragon, his voice trembling with excitement.

"Let’s see who the strongest dragon really is!"

"ROAR—!!!"

Kaido responded with a roar filled with nothing but disdain and arrogance.

"Battle start!"

"Charizard! [Dragon Claw]!"

At Alain’s command, Mega Charizard X flapped its wings, its massive body becoming a streak of black light that tore through the sky! Emerald energy glowed on its claws like razor-sharp blades as it lunged for Kaido’s head!

It was fast! So fast it left a trail of afterimages in the air!

Yet, in the face of this lightning strike, Kaido’s massive frame didn’t even move. A shred of bone-chilling mockery flashed in his crimson eyes.
