Lord Lan could feel that the moment he penetrated the Spirit Path, immense malice was released by the nearby Spirits or powerful Spirits upon sensing him.

That entirely new, unknown world, apart from the prison-like place!

Lord Lan didn’t know; there was still too much unknown about that world.

But being able to explore a new world, having the opportunity to leave the prison-like place, undoubtedly showed that his direction was correct!

It was unfortunate he had only gained this power recently, needing more time to settle and continue growing.

Thus, the rift he opened could only accommodate extremely weak demons to pass through, and without continuously using power to maintain it, the rift would quickly close.

The inherently weak demons, shrouded in protection, almost lost half their life passing through the rift, and upon landing in the new world, their entire faculties rapidly declined, not dropping dead immediately was already fortunate.

Closing his eyes, just preparing to rest for a moment, crisp footsteps suddenly echoed outside, approaching step by step.
