Only I Level Up By Shoveling-Chapter 84: "Out of The Tiger Nest, Enters The Wolf Den"
SHATTER—
The dungeon perished.
-Outside of the dungeon-
POP!
An eclipse portal spewed out examinees and spirits without a care.
Bang!
The orc knight, the one who fell face first, had his face deformed, as if someone punched him.
"Oink!"
The other examinees and spirits poured out from the void like dumplings and fell on top of him, forming a small hill of meat.
"Ugh!"
"Ah!"
"Ouch!"
Everyone’s mind was still frozen at the time when the dungeon’s destruction countdown reached 0, so when they suddenly woke up and the scene changed drastically, the examinees blinked their eyes in disbelief.
Elf ancestor: "Where is this? Am I dead? Ah, I’m a spirit, so I’m already dead."
Mage girl: "Wait...ughh...so dizzy...weren’t we inside the dungeon? What...happened?"
As the examinees’ minds slowly cleared up, they started to feel the pain from hitting the ground.
"Hey, get off my body! You’re heavy!!"
"@&! @&#&! (Fck! I’m dead!)"
"@-@-#-! (I can’t breathe!)"
"@&@&— (Help— )"
The examinees and the spirits groaned for a few seconds before some of them made a move.
The angel unfolded his wings and swat everyone away with his big wings, instantly breaking the neatly stacked meat hill.
The other examinees also fell to the ground and rolled around, distancing themselves from each other.
Castra fell right on top of Ray and before Ray could stab his stomach with the back of Vegan’s hilt, Castra elegantly pushed himself and walked away with no sound.
The other examinees who were still dizzy and nearly unconscious were all dragged away by their spirits.
The two koi spirits also flapped their tails and quickly rose to the sky, swimming in the air.
When everyone had finally caught their breaths, Lady Fera, the only one who wasn’t dumped into the meat hill, cleared her throat and spoke,
"Everyone, we are out, woof."
....
The examinees and the other spirits froze in disbelief before their eyes brightened, their hearts swelled with joy.
So, it’s true! They’re really out!!
The examinees and the spirits wanted to cheer, but they slumped to the ground, drained of all energy.
"We....we did it...we made it..."
"@--.....@&#&#-....(That...that was so close...)"
"1&@&@...(Oh thank God...)"
Even the dwarf, who wasn’t religious, suddenly became religious.
Everyone let out all the despair in their hearts and inhaled the clear air outside of the dungeon deeply.
Ahhhh.
They’re still alive!
The examinees were so happy that they forgot the two cultists didn’t follow them out of the dungeon.
But just when the examinees and the spirits were inhaling the air of freedom outside of the dungeon, a rustling noise sounded from the bushes around.
Before the examinees could even turn their heads, several people dressed in black from head to toe suddenly sprung out of the bushes and scowled in a vicious voice,
"Everybody, don’t move!!"
"Freeze! Freeze!"
"Keep your hands up! Hands up!"
"Throw away all your weapons!"
"Spirits, leave your summoners! Leave your summoners!"
The mysterious people shouted loudly until everyone’s eardrums hurt.
The foreign examinees who didn’t understand the language stared at the mysterious people with blank eyes while Castra and the others’ faces darkened.
These people!
"They must be the cult duo’s colleagues!"
The petite mage accurately guessed these people’s identities.
The foreign examinees who had spirits immediately asked Castra and Ray for a translation and they quickly spread the news to the other clueless foreign examinees.
Hearing the words "cult members", everyone remembered the two cult members who didn’t seem to make it out in time and they subconsciously clenched their teeth.
It is those guys again!
[Ahhhh! Where are the exam’s vigilantes?? How could they not guard the exam site??]
Castra’s inner self ran around in circles, pulling out his hair one by one.
He’s going crazy!!
His energy had really hit the rock bottom and it was only time before his moonlight transformation mode ended.
After escaping from a tiger’s den, he came into a wolf’s den.
Bad luck!
The other examinees and spirits also looked at these people in black with hollow eyes.
Bastards. They’re already so exhausted that they wanted to die!
Seeing that the teens and the spirits just stared at them blankly, the leader of the men in black immediately pointed a crossbow at the orc knight, the biggest target in the group.
"You! Are you deaf? Drop your weapon and hands up!"
Excuse me, how could the orc understand the human language?
The examinees were all restless when the leader suddenly noticed a certain spirit with conspicuous silver hair and silver eyes.
Under the sun, he’s definitely the brightest chick.
The leader’s eyes widened and his breathing suddenly quickened.
"It’s him! The one who successfully turns into a dark spirit!"
The other men and women in black immediately looked at Castra with feverish eyes.
"This is the gift that our companion sacrificed their lives for!"
"Hu! Hu! Catch him!"
"Catch him!!"
In an instant, the ten people in black whistled sharply and a summoning magic circle appeared next to their feet.
The concentration of dark energy in the surroundings surged, and even the sky seemed to become dim, covered in the shadow.
Once the sky darkened and the wind blew harshly, ten erratic ghost-like figures, as skinny as tree branches, sprung out of the magic circles one after another.
The ten people in black robes immediate waved their hands and gave the exact same commands to the ten ghostly figures.
"Capture that man with silver hair!"
WOOSH!
WOOSH!
WOOSH!
Castra just blinked and a claw full of sharp nails had already arrived right in front of his nose.
"Tsk!"
Castra tilted his head slightly to the left, barely avoiding the sharp nail by an inch, but then, another claw was already right next to his left ear, about to grab his head.
No matter how good Castra’s reflex was after he became a temporary D-rank spirit, he couldn’t dodge such a sneak attack.
Castra’s eyes dilated and just when Castra’s inner self screamed with his mouth wide open...
PA!
