Chapter 73: Lightning Strike
In the following days, Victoria Garcia was continuously preparing for her exams at school, until the last one was over.

On the days of holidays, her dormitory was always filled with joy tinged with sadness.
However, during Victoria’s exam period, another major incident happened in the Collins Family.
Collins Mansion.
” What did you say? Repeat it!” Patrick Taylor (mother of the Third Young Master Collins), who was holding the phone, felt as if her head was about to split open. She kept mumbling, impossible… impossible…
When she finally gathered herself, she hung up the phone and immediately ordered her driver to rush to the hospital.
On the way, she kept urging the driver to go faster… faster…
Eventually, she arrived at the hospital and found her beloved son lying in the VIP ward. He had his eyes tightly closed, his face was waxen, completely devoid of any youthful vitality. His once handsome features now bore an air of sad decay.
Seeing her nephew, Addison Collins standing on one side, Patrick Taylor hastily asked, “Addison, what exactly happened? How severe are Harry’s injuries?”
“That Third Young Master…,” Addison couldn’t describe the complexity in his feelings. He didn’t know where to start.
Patrick Taylor was anxious and upset. “With Harry in this state, what can’t you tell me?!” she demanded.
Seeing her worried and furious look, Addison swallowed back his emotions and said, “Auntie, the Third Young Master’s injury… it has affected a sensitive area. The doctors say he may never be able to walk again.”
“What… what…”
Her mind was buzzing like a swarm of bees, an incessant ringing, a shock far more devastating than the news she had received over the phone about her son in the operating room.
Being injured was one thing, but why there? How could it happen there? How was her Harry going to face life as a man now?
On the verge of collapse, Patrick Taylor shouted at Addison, “Who was it? Who had the audacity to do this?”
Addison’s eyebrows furrowed even tighter.
“Tell me, who did this?” Patrick Taylor demanded again, her voice taking on an edge of hysteria.
Addison hesitated for a moment, finally responding, “It was Cousin Taylor.”
With the successive hits of reality, Patrick Taylor – hearing that her nephew was the one who had injured her son to such an extent – collapsed on the floor.
“Auntie…”
Addison immediately helped her up and held her against him, whispering in a low tone, “Auntie, first, please calm down. Once the Third Young Master wakes up, we can ask about the specifics. Only then will we fully understand what exactly went down.”
Patrick Taylor’s hand clutched tightly at Addison’s arm, her long nails digging into his flesh, causing him to break into a cold sweat from the pain.
“Where is Milton Taylor?” The person Patrick Taylor was asking about was the Cousin Taylor mentioned by Addison earlier.
Addison shook his head muttering, “After injuring the Third Young Master this severely, he doesn’t dare to show his face. I assume he’s hiding somewhere. He might come out once things calm down a bit, but if the situation worsens, who knows how long he’ll remain in hiding.”
Compared to Harry, Milton Taylor is even worse. From a young age, he often got involved in trouble, indulging in all kinds of vices just like the spoiled boys of his age. Unluckily, he also had a mother who spoiled him but didn’t discipline him, even more unrestrained than Patrick Taylor was with her son.
The phrase ‘Big water washed the Dragon King temple’ seemed apt here. It was family fighting amongst themselves. No one knew how this drama was going to unfold.
