The doctor at the test window found the report and handed it to Xiang Yiqing with a smile, "Congratulations, Dr. Xiang."

Upon hearing the words ’congratulations,’ Xiang Yiqing already knew the test results.

He reached out to accept the report, simply thanked but did not explain to the lab doctor that she wasn’t his girlfriend and the child wasn’t his.

Such inconsequential misunderstanding wasn’t worth spending time to clarify.
