Pampered by My Secret Husband-Chapter 638 - 641: Young Master, Dr. Standford is in trouble!
He was helped out of the car, leaving the driver inside.
The nurse pushed his wheelchair and asked, "Dr. Standford, where did you agree to meet?"
"In the cafe just ahead."
The nurse pushed George Standford into the cafe. Another nurse, holding a medical record, saw him and stood up, beckoning him over.
"Dr. Standford, over here."
The nurse then pushed George Standford over. George Standford glanced at the nurse behind him. "You can go back to the car and wait. I’ll be a while."
It wasn’t often he saw a colleague from the hospital, and George Standford had a few things he wanted to discuss.
The nurse nodded. "Alright, Dr. Standford. I’ll wait for you in the car."
The nurse turned and left.
George Standford immediately rubbed his hands together, eagerly asking, "Where is my patient medical record?"
"It’s here, Dr. Standford. As if I’d dare not bring it," the nurse joked, handing him the medical record.
George Standford took the medical record and glanced at it. The smile on his face instantly froze. "This... this isn’t my medical record..."
"It isn’t?"
Disappointed, George Standford leaned back in his wheelchair, his expression dazed. "I knew it... I shouldn’t have harbored any hope..."
The nurse looked apologetic. "I’m so sorry, Dr. Standford. I thought it was yours, so I... I’m truly sorry for getting your hopes up for nothing."
"It’s fine... It doesn’t matter," George Standford mumbled, the light in his eyes dimming.
When the nurse returned to the car, the driver turned around and looked at her in surprise. "Why are you back? Where’s Dr. Standford?"
"Dr. Standford wanted to chat with his colleague for a while, so he had me come back first."
The driver frowned. "Is his colleague male or female?"
"Female. I hear she’s also a nurse," the nurse said.
The driver relaxed slightly. Perhaps he was overthinking things.
After twenty minutes, George Standford still hadn’t returned. The driver grew restless. "I’ll go and check on him."
"I’ll go too..." the nurse said, getting out of the car with him.
They entered the cafe one after the other. The driver scanned the room but didn’t see George Standford.
He turned his head abruptly and asked, "Where’s Dr. Standford?"
"Dr. Standford and his colleague were sitting at that table... How are they gone?" The nurse stopped a passing waiter. "Where did the two customers who were sitting here go?"
"It seems like they went in the direction of the restroom."
The driver and the nurse hurried towards the restroom. Inside the men’s restroom, they found George Standford unconscious in his wheelchair.
His female colleague was nowhere to be seen.
"This is bad!"
The driver glanced at George Standford’s face; it was frighteningly pale. He immediately pushed George Standford’s wheelchair out of the restroom and sprinted outside.
The moment he realized George Standford was in trouble, the driver contacted the hospital immediately, and then quickly reported to Thomas Shannon.
"Young Master, something bad has happened! Dr. Standford is in trouble!"

「South Pacific, private island.」
After crying that night, Sophie Sullivan’s mood had steadied.
Although looking at the family portrait still sent a pang through her heart, she had learned to control herself better.
Life on the island was relaxed and carefree.
Sophie Sullivan felt herself becoming languid, unbelievably lazy.
Every day, food and supplies were personally delivered to the island by designated personnel.
That day, along with the food and supplies, came a letter.
The butler, holding a letter, knocked on Sophie Sullivan’s bedroom door.
"Miss Cecilia Branford, you have a letter."
Sophie Sullivan opened the door and took the letter. Seeing the four words ’For Sophie Sullivan’s Eyes Only’, her heart suddenly sank.
