Pampered by My Secret Husband-Chapter 828 - 830: Who Is Sweet Girl?
As his hand moved, it was held down by a soft little hand.
"You’re getting a fluid transfusion, don’t move around!"
The soft rebuke was full of displeasure.
Thomas Shannon’s gaze fell on Sophie Sullivan’s face, her small face tense. It seemed she was angry. He paused and said, "I’m thirsty."
Sophie remained seated, still pressing his hand.
Thomas Shannon glared at her, cleared his throat, and repeated, "I’m thirsty."
"Bear with it."
Thomas Shannon: "..."
After a while, Thomas Shannon pried her hand away, intending to pull out the needle.
"I’ll get it for you."
Sophie said begrudgingly and got up to pour him a cup of water, bringing it to him.
Thomas Shannon leaned against the head of the bed, lazily raising his eyelids, "Feed me."
"Thomas Shannon, don’t push your luck."
Pouring him water to drink was already generous enough, and he still wanted to be fed?
Didn’t he remember who yelled at her last night, and now he still has the face to ask her to feed him?
"Fennie, I’m a patient."
The implication was, you need to take care of me, to take care of a patient.
So, he wasn’t pushing his luck; he was just too weak.
"Fine, I’ll let Charlie River feed you, even mouth-to-mouth."
Thomas Shannon was truly disgusted by her words, and he frowned in distaste, "Are you taking revenge on me?"
"Isn’t it obvious?"
"..."
He found himself speechless.
Thomas Shannon gloomily took the water cup, drank a cup, and still felt thirsty. He held the cup, wanting Sophie to pour another.
Seeing her indifferent expression, after some thought, he decided to forget it.
Bear with it; he wouldn’t die of thirst.
The two of them sat in silence.
The air suddenly became quiet, and Thomas Shannon tried to start a conversation, "Did you sleep well last night?"
"Thanks to you, I slept well."
Thomas Shannon: "..."
It seemed her anger hadn’t subsided.
Every word was sharp, like she was filled with gunpowder.
Thomas Shannon lowered his eyelids and sighed deeply, "Still angry about the affair with Lillian Spencer?"
"These words should be what I ask you." Sophie crossed her arms over her chest. Wasn’t he the one who got angry with her first?
She hadn’t forgotten his expression when he stormed off last night.
"Stay away from Lillian Spencer. Trust me, I won’t harm you. As for why, it’s inconvenient for me to say. In short, listening to me is definitely right."
Sophie smiled, her mood somewhat gloomy, "What inconvenient thing are you unable to say?"
Thomas Shannon’s thin lips pressed tightly.
"Could it be, you and Lillian Spencer had something?"
"What wild thoughts are you having? How could I have anything with Lillian Spencer?" Thomas Shannon refuted her.
"Then what else is there that Young Master Shannon can’t say? Is it that you can’t, or you just don’t want to?"
Sophie pointed a finger at her forehead, "I think you just don’t want to say, right?"
"Sophie, stop messing around."
Originally a rather imposing sentence, spoken in a hoarse voice, lost much of its authority.
Sophie chuckled indifferently, "Fine, if you don’t want to say, forget it."
Thomas Shannon thought she was just giving up, when she suddenly changed the topic, "Who’s the sweet girl?"
"Who?" Thomas Shannon frowned, "Do I know this person?"
Sophie examined him carefully, then chuckled lightly, "You’re quite good at pretending. Alright, let me ask in another way. Who does Raina Bell resemble?"
"How would I know who she resembles?"
"Thomas Shannon, you’re still pretending. Raina Bell told me everything. How long do you plan to hide it from me?"
What did Raina Bell tell her?
