"At the moment, trade between the continents is mostly anecdotal, even though all of us have means to do so, it remains too complicated and costly to put in place actual trade routes for constant exchanges of goods…" mentioned the Hierophant-Queen, readjusting the mitre upon her head.

"Mmh… My people just go and get whatever it is that they want on their own, as for myself, I am only interested in expanding the number of draconic species living under my reign" Ronarkatast certainly had the means and manpower to have some of the largest of his dragons carry goods back and forth, but there was nothing for him and or his nation to gain from playing the part of scaly mules.

"Despite our connection with the sea, long-travel is still dangerous to us, and besides, I don't really have anything suitable for such a task" the Queen-Empress shrugged, the continent of Bermude being entirely submerged and thus, being only inhabited by species that primarily lived underwater, no one else knew how to better traverse the dreadful oceans that they did.

"Once again, the method we use to travel is a tightly guarded secret, but I can assure you that moving a suitable amount of resources or whatever alongside people is out of the question" the Golem King stated with his rocky tone.

"And when it comes to more conventional methods of transport, what we have is not suited for such long travel" added the Pure Spirit Queen.

"I would be willing to have some tunnels dug between our continents, but not only do my archbishops argue that it's too costly, none of you ever agree to link our continents" Artratac Dursol tapped her claws upon the table, the smallest person present by a longshot casually calling the other's out.

From the looks of it, the Hierophant-Queen of Durter was under the impression that everyone was wary of what she would do if her underground continent had a clear access to the others.

"Ah, tunnels you say? I wouldn't mind you and I linked our continents, maybe we could set up a little trading zone at a halfway point, one of my gravelords is also an expert in digging" interlocking his fingers together, he casually leaned forward since Dursol was just across.

"Mmh… If you dig half of the way there, then I should manage to avoid the so-called cost issues- But I must be honest, it is unlikely that my archbishops won't find fault with us trading with the undead empire, the project might drag its feet on my end"

"It sounds like your archbishops don't have must trust in your judgement"

"They don't, and I don't want to resort to just my authority to get things done"

"Well, we can speak about this arrangement in further detail later- Körpersucher do hand over one of the communication devices" the gravelord gave it to the two paladins accompanying Durter's leader, who inspected it before letting it close to her.

"As for the rest… My empire has entire fleets of various types, in fact, they have already developed variations meant specifically for trade, I am certain that we could manage to set up trading routes for all continents" Nitok confidently stated, clearly, not everyone seemed very comfortable with that fact.

Really, only Ronarkatast and Artratac Dursol seemed to not have problems with dealing with the undead directly, so Nitok had to flex the empire's wealth a bit.

"Our forges and other productions are constantly pushing innovations and a great stream of materials, as you know, I currently rule over Viridis, Belliste and a wide span of ocean, I can gather and process all types of materials without stop as we undeads never require rest, iron, metals, ores, plants, energies, knowledge- All that you can imagine, we probably have in abundance, and my prices are low, I can guarantee" he didn't elaborate on the fact that their resources were quite literally endless as they grew and produced everything en masse.

But casually mentioning that they had basically infinite money seemed like a bad idea.

Taking some time to get to know what sort of goods most interested each of his contemporaries.

Durter was utterly fascinated with just about anything that had to do with the subterranean, and as evidenced by their ruler, it was because it was a faith in itself, they communed with the earth and their surroundings themselves.

Nitok found Artratac Dursol to be especially easy to get along with, the woman was rather amicable and agreeable, the fact that faith also played a big role in the empire further allowed the both of them to relate to one another in some way.

Bermude was in a similar position, although their relationship with the sea wasn't one of faith, they inevitably shared a strong bond with anything having to do with the ocean, and indeed, since the continent spanned over multiple, very different kinds of them, Nitok ruled over a variety of ocean types as well, so he would certainly have access to many things the population would be interested in.

Their Queen-Empress, Moilirus Poisseon wasn't exactly antagonistic as much as she seemed awfully uncaring in her attitude, clearly, she had all power over Bermude, she didn't just happen to be the most powerful and influential ruler of the underwater continent, her rule was unquestionable and the supposed kingdoms under her were only still so according to her whims, so perhaps it was why she didn't seem to respect Durter and Lefaux as much as the rest.

Lefaux seemed like a more traditional continent, it was its population that truly set it apart, all upon it was neither of life, nor of death, they existed on a separate spectrum, either fuelled by pure energy or being inanimate objects given sapience.

The golems were more interested in novel materials to shape themselves from, whilst the spirits were into something a bit more difficult to source, as their objective was access to elemental realms they could not get a hold of as no pure spirits linked to them existed on the continent yet.

Gargantax Torh and Pylhta Hilio were a rather unlikely duo, clearly brought together simply because it was necessary instead of anything else, they were rather lukewarm toward Nitok, wary but also not knowledgeable enough about undeath to truly understand why they were such a threat, indeed, such a concept did not exist on their continent at all.

Unlike the others who did experience the rise of undeads, and especially in recent times as death grew in power, leading to more cadavers rousing from their graves.

Something to which The Prince Of Death offered to graciously take care of by allowing embassies to exist within the territory to extract any and all undeads before they caused problems, naturally, Nitok would also agree for such embassies to be erected within the empire as well.

The dragonlord was quick to agree, although he would like for undead dragons to take residence upon Dragonnerie, being rather interested in such beings, considering that the only undeads he had ever encountered had been mindless.

So far, Nitok managed to score big in this meeting.

The Hierophant-Queen once again stated that she would negotiate such an implementation with her archbishops, The Queen-Empress and rulers of Lefaux also agreeing to at least consider it, communication devices were given to everyone present for further discussions.

"Ah, by the way, what are your policies on Verdoyante and Yoreterre?" he ended up asking, having clearly noticed that as they had thought, those two continents seemed to have no intelligent life to represent them.

"Do you plan on invading them as well?" asked Dursol.

"Invade is going a bit too far into the future… We are merely checking things out as they both seem to be rather ripe with riches"

"Well, I do believe everyone of us give visits to Yoreterre, for one reason or another, so you would require authorisations to begin an invasion, if it is merely some simple resource for information gathering- We all do that without asking anyways"

"As for Verdoyante, I wouldn't recommend setting even one foot upon it, so to speak, this continent is simply cursed, I don't know how your empire might fare due to your undeath, but I doubt it will be any better than it was for all of those who tried before" Poisseon shook her head.

"Verdoyante is naught but pure evil… Even Ronarkatast does not allow his people to venture within it" stated Torh, the dragonlord strongly exhaling from his nostrils in response, a begrudged acknowledgement.

"We have tried to send messages from a distance, believing that intelligent life dwelled hidden beyond the foliage… But we never received any word back, as for those who step further into the continent, they disappear without a trace, without a scream… No matter what they may be or their strength" Hilio seemed to be reminiscing as she spoke.

"Mmh, thank you for your concerns… But should I take it that a conquest of Verdoyante is not something you would oppose?"
