Chapter 97: LAST PRS ISABELLA

Morgan spends his days taking care of the charity his wife left behind.

"Mr. Morgan, we received ten proposals today for orphans," reported the charity’s secretary, handing over a stack of documents.

"Okay, I’ll go through them one by one. Isabella would have wanted us to help as many children in need as possible," Morgan replied, smiling as he remembered his wife.

"She was a very kind woman. We all miss her," the secretary said with tears in her eyes.

"I miss her too. Every day," Morgan replied, his voice hoarse with longing.

His and his wife’s companies had been completely left to their three children, as per the will Isabella wrote before her death.

"Dad, we promise to take good care of Mom’s legacy," Morgan’s eldest child said solemnly.

"We won’t let Mom and Dad down," Morgan’s second child added, nodding firmly.

"Dad knows you can do it. You’re extraordinary children, a product of your mom’s upbringing," Morgan replied proudly, hugging his three children.

"Thank you for raising us with so much love, Dad," said his youngest child, sobbing.

Morgan is now truly enjoying her old age, spending time with her family, something she rarely had the chance to do before, and enjoying her retirement comfortably without conflict, as all her children, in-laws, and grandchildren are harmonious and without significant arguments.

"Grandpa! Look, I can walk by myself now!" shouted her two-year-old first grandchild, running toward him.

"Wow, my granddaughter is so great! Grandpa is so proud of you," Morgan praised, lifting her granddaughter high.

"Grandpa, where’s Grandma Isabella? I miss you," asked her second grandchild innocently.

"Grandma is in heaven, honey. She’s watching over us all from there," replied Morgan Elio, lovingly stroking her granddaughter’s head.

"When is Grandma coming home, Grandpa?" her little granddaughter asked again, her eyes sparkling.

"One day, Grandpa will join Grandma, and we’ll meet again there," Morgan replied with a faint smile.

He breathed his last breath at the age of 90 peacefully.

"Daddy, don’t leave us," his children whimpered, holding their father’s cold hands.

"You... take good care of... this family..." Morgan whispered in a very weak voice.

"Yes, Daddy. We promise," they replied, crying.

"Isabella... I’m... coming..." Morgan said with a peaceful smile before taking his last breath.

Morgan’s funeral wasn’t as crowded as Isabella’s. He was buried next to his wife.

"Now Daddy and Mommy are together again," said the eldest child, placing flowers on his father’s grave.

"They were a perfect couple. Their love was eternal," added the second child, wiping away tears.

"May they be happy in heaven," the youngest child prayed sincerely.

Finally, he could fulfill the sacred promise he made in their marriage before God: to be faithful until his last breath. Morgan Elio has proven all of this.

"Dad truly loved Mom until the end. He never once glanced at another woman after Mom left," recalled his eldest son with admiration.

"That’s true love. Very rare these days," said one of the relatives present.

"They are role models for us all," added the eldest son-in-law respectfully.

The depth of Dad’s love for their mother has led his three children to follow their parents’ example, having only one partner in life.

"I want to be like Dad and Mom. Loyal until the end," said his eldest son to his wife.

"Me too. Let’s protect our love like they protect theirs," replied the wife, holding her husband’s hand.

This creates a harmonious family without any third parties because each of them always guards their heart and honor wherever they are, in accordance with what their parents taught them.

"Mom and Dad taught us that loyalty is the foundation of a strong marriage," said the second child in a family interview.

"We’re lucky to have role models like them," added her youngest child gratefully.

Meanwhile, in another dimension, Isabella, drawn by the Phoenix System into her world, was still adrift in a colorful world.

"Where am I? Everything is so bright and colorful!" Isabella exclaimed, turning around to look around.

"I feel like I’m floating in space," she added, moving her hands, which felt light.

"Phoenix System, is that slideshow over there one of the worlds I’m going to visit?" Isabella asked curiously, looking at the many screens displaying various forms of life she had never seen before.

"Amazing! There are so many different worlds!" she exclaimed, her eyes wide with amazement.

There she saw everything from primitive life where humans lived in the Stone Age to modern life in a galaxy where everything relies on machines to survive.

"That... humans live in caves? And hunt with spears?" Isabella asked, pointing enthusiastically at one of the screens.

"And that one... oh my gosh, they fly in spaceships! The technology is so advanced!" she added in amazement.

Isabella also saw footage of palace life, from harem battles to life against zombies and surviving the end of the world (the apocalypse).

"Oh no, that one looks scary. I have to fight zombies?" Isabella asked, her face pale.

"And that one... it looks like complicated palace politics. Lots of intrigue and competition," she muttered, studying the screen showing palace life.

"Phoenix System, I can’t choose myself, can I? Everything is predetermined?" she asked again, anxiously.

[Yes, Host.] We wait here until a world pulls us in.] 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"So I can only wait? Can’t choose?" Isabella asked in disappointment.

"What if I end up in a very dangerous world?" she added worriedly.

Isabella, hearing the Phoenix System’s answer, nodded in understanding.

"Okay, I trust you, Phoenix System. You’ve helped me so much before," she said in a calmer tone.

"Then, will you still accompany me in that new world?" Isabella needed to ask this because, after all, adapting to a new world is certainly not easy, so the Phoenix System’s presence is essential for her to live well.

"I’d have a hard time without you, Phoenix System. You’re like a friend to me," Isabella said sincerely.

"Please don’t leave me alone in a strange world," she pleaded in a pleading tone.

[Of course, the Phoenix System will accompany the Host on their mission, as it is embedded within the Host. However, at the beginning of the journey, the Phoenix System may be temporarily inactive due to the time and space differences. Therefore, the Phoenix System will disappear for a moment and will only be reactivated after the Host completes several missions, which we will only learn about after arriving in the new world.

"Inactive? How long?" Isabella asked frantically.

"So I’ll be alone at the beginning? How will I survive without your help?" she added anxiously.

"Are there any hints you can give me before you deactivate?" Isabella asked hopefully.

"I need to know at least the basics of the new world before you disappear," she pleaded seriously.

After the Phoenix System explained everything, Isabella’s body was suddenly sucked into a vortex of light and disappeared.

"WAIT! I’M NOT READY!" Isabella screamed frantically, trying to hold herself together.

"PHOENIX SYSTEM! DON’T LEAVE ME!" she shouted again, but her voice was already swallowed by the increasingly powerful vortex of light.

"AAAAAHHH!" she screamed as her body was completely sucked into the blinding vortex of light.

Clinggg!

The sound of the bells ringing signaled the beginning of Isabella’s new journey into a different world, with challenges she hadn’t yet encountered, and adventures awaiting her.

"May I be strong enough to face whatever comes," Isabella whispered to herself before her consciousness faded, ready to begin a new Chapter in her long journey across dimensions.
