Pokemon: A New Path-Chapter 511
It seemed that fate had decided that he and Pikachu were not meant to cross paths again.
In that case, it was best to leave this Pikachu to the trainer it was destined to meet.
Perhaps, in the near future, someone else will encounter it, and a brand-new story would unfold.
With that thought, Naoki withdrew his gaze and left with Koraidon.
Five hours after Naoki's departure, a small figure cautiously peeked out from behind a hidden corner.
A wild Pikachu.
It carefully stepped onto the open cliffside, its tiny paws pressing against the cool grass as it gazed toward the sea, now draped in the golden hues of twilight.
After standing there for a while, it curled up beneath the trunk of a large tree, its fur slightly rustling with the evening breeze. The little Pokémon closed its eyes and drifted into sleep.
As dawn broke, Pikachu's ears twitched, and its eyes snapped open.
It quickly glanced up at the sky, as if checking the time, then bolted up and dashed toward the coastline.
Once it reached a certain distance, it began running in tight circles across the grass, generating sparks of electricity as it moved.
Faster.
Faster.
The crackling charge built up, and in the blink of an eye, the electricity swirling around Pikachu formed into a rotating vortex—a miniature thunderstorm twisting with power.
The moment the energy reached its peak, Pikachu leaped into the air, springboarding off the turbulence with quick, calculated tail movements.
Higher.
Higher.
For a few fleeting moments, Pikachu hovered in midair, stabilizing itself by skillfully adjusting the angle of its tail, using the very currents it had created.
At that moment, the distant horizon began to glow with the first light of dawn.
A radiant golden sun slowly peeked above the waves, its reflection stretching across the sea's surface. The sky was painted in breathtaking hues of orange, red, and violet, blending seamlessly into the endless ocean.
Pikachu's eyes reflected the brilliance of the sunrise, and it softly murmured, "Pikachu…"
'It was beautiful.'
...
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Naoki and Koraidon finally touched down at 5:15 PM.
As they landed, Naoki noticed a familiar sight—Zack's truck parked on the side of the road.
With the help of Indeedee, Zack was busy loading up the goods for the day's deliveries.
Noticing Naoki's return, Zack called out, "Hey, out on another job today?"
Naoki nodded with a smile. "Yeah! I've been hearing about Pokémon that need help lately, so I've been heading out to assist them whenever I can."
Zack's eyes widened. "Wait, is another wildfire spreading somewhere?!"
Naoki was momentarily taken aback before bursting into laughter. "No, no, nothing like that. Some Pokémon were trapped and couldn't get out on their own. A few trainers tipped me off about them, so I went to help."
Zack sighed in relief. "Oh, good! You had me worried there for a second. Well, if you ever need an extra pair of hands, just say the word! Oh, and by the way, today's sales money—I've already sent it over."
Naoki glanced at his Rotom Phone, confirming the transfer notification.
"Got it," he replied with a nod.
The rapid development of technology had made electronic transactions the norm, even for ranchers.
"Well, I gotta get going! The ranch next door is waiting on their shipment. See you around!"
With that, Zack climbed into his truck, waved through the window, and drove off down the dirt road.
Naoki waved back, watching until the truck disappeared in the distance.
Then, turning on his heels, he refocused on his next task—preparing the Reverse Black Tea to counteract Wo-Chien's ruinous energy.
But before he could even take a step…
He suddenly spotted Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu approaching him.
Chi-Yu floated inside the large cauldron resting atop Ting-Lu's head, its glowing magatama-shaped eyes peering curiously outside.
Ting-Lu couldn't help but ask, "Moo?" (Naoki, who did you bring back this time?)
Naoki didn't hide the truth. "It's Wo-Chien."
"Moo?!" (That old guy?!)
Hearing this, Ting-Lu immediately became anxious and urged him, "Moo!" (Wait! Don't let that old guy out just yet! If you do, your entire ranch and all your crops will be ruined. Go make something to fix him first!)
Chi-Yu chimed in as well. "Guuu." (That's right. That guy drains energy from plants. Once, he made an entire forest wither away in no time.)
Seeing how concerned the two Pokémon were about the ranch, Naoki couldn't help but chuckle.
"Don't worry, I know. I'm going to prepare something now to help restore him."
Ting-Lu grunted in approval. "Moo!" (Alright, then I'll leave that old guy to you!)
Naoki nodded and immediately headed to the kitchen, where he brewed a special Reverse Black Tea using water from the Distortion World.
Soon, the steaming cup of tea was ready.
Naoki made his way to the ranch, taking extra precautions to prevent Wo-Chien from damaging the crops. He had even asked Calyrex to assist in keeping things under control.
Once everything was in place, Naoki pulled out Wo-Chien's Poké Ball.
With a flash of light, the enormous snail Pokémon materialized in the grassy field.
Almost instantly, the lush green grass beneath Wo-Chien began to wither, drained of its energy by the Ruinous Pokémon's presence.
Compared to Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu, the curse affecting Wo-Chien was far stronger, and its mind was still clouded with malice.
Fortunately, Calyrex was there. No matter how much strength Wo-Chien had, it wouldn't be able to unleash its full power under the King's watchful eye.
With Calyrex's assistance, Naoki carefully approached Wo-Chien and offered it the Reverse Black Tea.

As soon as the dark liquid flowed down its throat, Wo-Chien's entire body was engulfed in a bright white light.
Then, something incredible happened.
In the glow, the withered, yellowed leaves covering Wo-Chien transformed into fresh, emerald-green foliage.
The eerie haze in Wo-Chien's eyes gradually cleared, and the oppressive aura of destruction surrounding it faded away.
A gentle, nurturing energy radiated from its body and seeped into the earth beneath it.
Naoki watched in awe as the once-withered grass suddenly sprang back to life, vibrant and full of energy once more.
...
A warm, unfamiliar sensation enveloped Wo-Chien's body.
It had been a long time since it had felt anything like this.
Ever since it had absorbed too much Ruinous energy, its consciousness had dulled, drifting aimlessly in the cold abyss of darkness. Even its perception of the outside world had become fragmented and unclear.
But now, this warmth…
Slowly, Wo-Chien opened its eyes.
"Woo?" (What's happening to me?)
As its vision cleared, it found itself surrounded by a world full of birdsong, blooming flowers, and vibrant life.
Looking around, it saw a strange human, several unfamiliar Pokémon, and—to its shock—two very familiar figures.
Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu.
Wo-Chien's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Woo!! Wo?!" (Why are you two here? Wait… does this mean all four of us are dead? Have we already passed on?!)
Ting-Lu: "…"
Chi-Yu: "…"
Ting-Lu turned to Naoki and muttered, "Moo!" (It looks like this old guy has finally lost it.)
Chi-Yu sighed. "Guuu." (This isn't the afterlife; This is Naoki's ranch.)
"Yuu." (He saved us, just like he saved you. Thanks to him, we were freed from the seals and purified of the disastrous power we absorbed.)
Hearing this, Wo-Chien slowly turned its gaze toward the human standing beside Ting-Lu.
Naoki smiled warmly and greeted it. "Hello, Wo-Chien. I'm Naoki, the owner of this ranch."
Wo-Chien blinked, at first showing little reaction.
For a moment, Naoki assumed it was still processing everything. But then, the realization suddenly struck Wo-Chien like a bolt of lightning.
"Wo?!" (You were the one who freed us from the Ruinous energy?!)
Naoki nodded. "That's right. By the way, Wo-Chien, do you feel any changes in your body now?"
He was eager to confirm whether Wo-Chien's Ruinous abilities had been completely reversed.
One second passed…Two seconds…Three…
Naoki, Ting-Lu, and Chi-Yu all stared at Wo-Chien, waiting for its answer.
But a long silence stretched between them.
Ting-Lu sighed, "Moo." (Still as slow as ever, huh? This guy has always been one step behind in everything.)
Naoki: "…"
Well, that certainly fits a snail.
At long last, Wo-Chien finally spoke.
"Wo…!" (My body… something's different! I feel… rejuvenated! There's a new power within me!)
Naoki's curiosity deepened. "What kind of power?"
Half a minute later, Wo-Chien's eyes lit up with astonishment.
"Wo!" (I can restore energy to the plants around me! Instead of draining life, I can nourish the forest, help flowers bloom, and bless crops with a bountiful harvest!)
Naoki's expression brightened. "Just as I thought!"
This was exactly the result he had hoped for.
Wo-Chien, once a harbinger of decay, had become a Pokémon that fostered life instead of taking it.
Naoki chuckled. "Looks like we've got another King of Bountiful Harvests on the ranch."
At this point, many of his Pokémon already possessed similar abilities.
Calyrex, of course. The three Gogoat. And now, Wo-Chien.
Seeing crops suddenly grow faster was no longer anything surprising to him.
He nodded and said, "From now on, you'll live here with the others on the ranch!"
With that, the issue of Wo-Chien's curse had been resolved.
Now, only Chien-Pao, the last of the Ruinous Pokémon, remained.
Naoki decided that he would track it down tomorrow and complete his mission.
But for now, it was time to return to the World Tree and bring Kubfu back home.
Turning to Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu, he said, "I'll leave Wo-Chien in your care for now."
Ting-Lu stomped a hoof and nodded. "Moo!" (No problem. Leave it to us!)
Naoki turned and left, leaving Wo-Chien to explore its new home.
Wo-Chien followed slowly behind Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu, listening as they introduced the ranch.
After walking for a while, Wo-Chien began to feel tired and decided to stop, settling onto the grass to bask in the glow of the setting sun.
Seeing this, Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu also paused, watching the sky with it.
