Pokémon Court-Chapter 465: Travelling By Ship Again
“You did well, Magmar…” Yami stared blankly at Magmar, who was instantly defeated and was startled: “So strong.”
“Thanks for the compliment,” Albus smiled.
Aura Sphere, when used by Lucario, was as flexible as its hands. That terrifying speed—once unleashed—seemed to make the very air around it tremble, turning it into the sharpest offensive technique!
Magmar was taken down in an instant, and that was with Albus holding back.
“My next Pokémon is… Jumpluff!”
After hesitating for a moment, Yami sent out a small and adorable Grass-type Pokémon.
Just from the way this Jumpluff floated, Terrance could tell that it was highly skilled at dodging and extremely agile. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t be enough.
Whoosh!!!!
The deep blue Aura Sphere, after blasting away Magmar, did not stop its dominant advance. Even though Yami had sent out a Pokémon adept at dodging like Jumpluff… it still couldn’t withstand Aura Sphere!
“It can track?!”
Yami froze, his eyes fixed on the unfathomably powerful Lucario. A homing Aura Sphere—one that had locked onto Jumpluff from the moment it was launched—how was he supposed to fight against that?!
Watching Jumpluff collapse to the ground, unable to battle, Yami bit his lip, feeling embarrassed for the first time.
“Come back, Jumpluff.”
“You’re up next, Muk. Be careful.”
“Still not giving up?” Albus chuckled inwardly. A Trainer with such perseverance was commendable, but even before Lucario began following him, its strength was beyond what ordinary people can deal with. And after Albus sacrificed his own life force to transfer his Aura to Lucario, even he himself wasn’t sure what level of strength Lucario had reached.
At the very least, ever since leaving Nightmare Island, Lucario had never lost to anyone!
As Lucario fired the Aura Sphere, Muk had already begun to tremble. The sheer force of the Aura Sphere was overwhelmingly powerful, and the outwardly radiating energy formed an invisible pressure.
Everything in existence has Aura, and Albus and Lucario, having mastered it, were already ahead of their opponent in a fundamental way.
The enemy’s breathing, condition, and actions—nothing could escape them!
“Another Aura Sphere!”
Yami, already numb from witnessing this move repeatedly, had no idea how to counter it. That lightning-fast Aura Sphere was the most powerful move he had seen in all his years as a Trainer.
The third Pokémon… the fourth Pokémon… the fifth Pokémon…
Even the Ghost-type Dusknoir couldn’t escape its fate—defeated by a single Aura Sphere.
“My Lucario used Foresight,” Albus said. “Do you still want to continue?”
At this point, Yami had already lost five Pokémon. He was stronger than any previous challenger who had come to Fallarbor Gym, and even Terrance acknowledged his skills as a Trainer—but it all depended on who he was up against.

“…No.” Yami shook his head. He still had one Pokémon left, but if all his Pokémon lost their strength, traveling through the mountains would become dangerous.
However, Yami still couldn’t believe it. He, the runner-up of the Lily of the Valley Conference, had been defeated five times in a row by the same move!
“This Lucario definitely hasn’t even shown its full power yet…” A chill ran through Yami’s heart as he lifted his gaze to re-examine the three Trainers before him.
The carefree looking Albus, the indifferent looking Fujiki and Terrance, who remained calm from beginning to end, as if he had everything under control.
Yami was startled once again. Suddenly, he had the feeling that he was no match for any of these three Trainers.
“Where are you guys from?” As he recalled his defeated Pokémon, Yami subconsciously asked.
“When I become stronger, I’ll challenge you again.”
His gaze was mainly fixed on Albus, his fists clenched tightly. Thankfully, no one else was around to witness his crushing defeat—otherwise, the runner-up of the Lily of the Valley Conference being utterly defeated like this… Just thinking about it made Yami inwardly resent his own lack of strength.
“Hahaha! You’re always welcome! I am Terrance from Fallarbor Town. Feel free to challenge me anytime!” Albus laughed.
What the hell.
The composed Terrance almost jumped up to beat him on the spot. Why was he getting blamed for this?!
Even Fujiki’s lips curled into a faint smile.
“Don’t listen to his nonsense. I’m Terrance,” Terrance said, his mouth twitching as he quickly cleared it up.
“This…” Yami froze on the spot.
“Challenge me? Forget it… We won’t be seeing each other again.” Albus called back Lucario, his voice tinged with loneliness.
At most, he only had a few months left to live. Albus also wanted to battle all kinds of Trainers, to be pursued and to pursue others, but that was nothing more than a distant dream.
“Let’s go~” Stepping off the ship that had just arrived from Hoenn to Sinnoh, Albus felt much more relaxed after this battle. Accepting battles was, in part, a way to ease the dullness of the long sea voyage. If everything went as planned, their next destination would be Fiore, and they would have to board another ship from Sinnoh to get there.
“Then let’s go,” Fujiki also said with a shake of her head.
Only Terrance was left feeling completely lost, thinking Albus had just said something utterly strange.
“No matter what… Fallarbor Town’s Terrance, huh? I’ll remember that. They must know each other, and as long as I have information on one of them, that’s enough.” Yami muttered to himself. Suddenly, his desire to claim the title of Lily of the Valley Conference champion didn’t seem as intense anymore. After battling someone so powerful of his own age, his mindset had gradually begun to change…
…
…
Sunyshore City, built on a narrow peninsula, is a renowned port city in Sinnoh and the only port that has exchanges with the Fiore region.
In truth, not many people traveled to Fiore, and those who did mostly went for sightseeing.
Speaking of which, the Fiore region was located in a mountainous area with only four cities in the plains. However, this alone isn’t enough to attract so many tourists to visit and explore… the main reason was that each city represented a different season. Everything, from architectural styles to the city’s environment, was designed to reflect a specific season. It can be said that the Fiore region is a typical land of seasons, where the characteristics of each season is particularly prominent in different cities.
“There aren’t many Trainers around,” After spending some time, the trio managed to obtain S.S. Tickets to the Fiore region.
Even before the ship had set sail, they had already noticed this—nearly everyone heading to Fiore looked like tourists traveling with their families, with very few appearing to be Trainers.
“I remember that Fiore doesn’t sell or use Poké Balls, right?” Terrance asked.
“Yeah,” Albus recalled. “People there prefer to let Pokémon stay by their side and care for them directly. It’s more about emotional bonds.”
The dilemma of choosing between power and emotion has always been a hotly debated topic in regions governed by the Pokémon League.
