President Qin's Little Wife Is The Strongest-Chapter 158: Willing Bait
The masked man looked at her fighting stance and chuckled aware that she was not an expert. The disregard in his eyes was obvious and even Rong Yue knew that her chances were slim.
In fact, if their database hadn't been compromised by her, she would have no chance at all.
Also, she still had to carry Qin Yichen.
There was only one way.
To take this man down!
And then try to escape before anyone noticed that anything was wrong with him.
With her mind made up, she pulled out a Taser from her dress pocket.
"Young lady, I'm afraid you have touched matters that have nothing to do with you," he said while raising his hands to check the watch that was strapped on his wrist.
"Perhaps, you don't know where you are, but he's not someone you can take away."
Her fists clenched as she heard his words, even more determined to deal with him.
"He is my person. As for who you are… it's not important!"
All that mattered was that he had touched someone that she cared about. To her, nothing else was more important than that.
Her words, however, made the man look at her cynically. Everyone that had done simple investigations on Qin Yichen would know that the man stayed away from women.
In fact, dealing with him would have been a lot easier if he showed interest in men as that was the weakness of most men.
But Qin Yichen wouldn't pay even the best of women any attention. Some people had even been daring in the past and tried to take care of him by giving him, beautiful men.
Neither those men nor the companies they owned still existed anymore.
So everyone had given up. Yet, there was a woman here claiming that Qin Yichen was her person.
"This is my last warning, after now, even the heavens wouldn't save you," the man warned, his hands moving to his back pocket.
Rong Yue's eyes followed his hand movement, knowing that he wanted to pull out a weapon.
Guns were banned in their own country but in a place like this, she was certain that a man like this would have one so without giving him the chance to do anything, she lunged at him.
Arching her leg mid-air until it was at the level of his lower body while also stretching her hands out.
While her speed was fast, she was, however, still not a match for the masked man.
Before she could get to him, he grabbed her hand that was stretched out and Rong Yue used that opportunity to deliver a life-ending kick to his lower body.
"Fuck!" The man cursed out as he released his grip on her while grabbing his lower organ in pain.
"I'll end you!" He swore as he got up shakily. However, before he could make any move, Qin Yichen that had been laying still like he was passed out on the couch stood up.
"Andrew, you have played enough. we will be leaving now," Qin Yichen said with sternness.
Even though his little girl was in disguise, he knew very well that it was Rong Yue and pulled her into his embrace.
"Let's go home."
Andrew looked at the both of them with anger flashing through his eyes.
To get to this point, he had prepared so much, even making a certain organization prepare this incense that would alter and make one's memories foggy.
Yet, it hadn't even worked and it can even be said that Rong Yue had saved him. After all, if he had made that request to a completely sane Qin Yichen, he would have exposed himself and gotten himself in complete trouble.
Rong Yue on the other hand looked at Qin Yichen with glaring eyes.
From the way he got up, it was easy to see that he had only been pretending this whole time.
To think that he had not gotten up after hearing her voice. Without care, she reached out and pinched him.
"You have been alright the whole time?"
Hearing an accusing tone, Qin Yichen leaned down and placed a kiss on her forehead.
"You came to save me, how could I not enjoy the moment at all?"
Because of how close he was, Rong Yue flushed red as his cold and velvety voice blew into her ears. She squirmed, attempting to come out of his embrace but Qin Yichen was stronger and held her body in place. freёweɓnovel.com
"Be obedient and stay here,"
After cajoling her, he stood straight and looked at Andrew in front of him.
"Andrew, even The Viridian wouldn't save you if you cross my path one more time,"
"Get lost!" With one shove, he pushed the masked man out of the way and went outside the room with Rong Yue.
"Come, let's climb down from here. I'll get us out from the fifth floor," Rong Yue said and then glanced down at her watch worriedly.
They barely had five minutes and she wasn't sure that would be enough for them to make an escape.
She had not realized that she was the only one trying to find an escape route.
Patting her head dotingly he calmed her down, "I walked in here by myself. Even their bosses couldn't stop me if I want to leave,"
The confidence and arrogance in his tone made Rong Yue slightly startled and she nodded mindlessly.
Was his influence outside the country just as great?
"Don't worry, we would talk when we get back home," Qin Yichen said and then pulled her towards the sixth-floor elevator.
Just like he said, no one stopped them and Qin Yichen led the way until they were out of The Viridian.
Despite the millions of questions that she had for him, Rong Yue quietly led him to the cafe where she had left her computer.
Everything was still intact and she packed the bag back. "I booked a taxi earlier, we can use it to go back,"
Without any warning, Qin Yichen pulled her into his arms, resting his head on the crook of her neck. "Yue'er, thank you,"
Even though he hadn't been in any real danger, for her to come to a place like this, with her preparations, he could see that it wasn't because she didn't know how dangerous it was, but rather, because she knew.
Because she had thought he was in danger, the little girl that he wanted to keep away from all harm had braced all the dangers and came for him.
At this point, there were no words that Rong Yue could use to persuade him.
He knew that he was in her heart. Even if her heart wasn't ready yet.
But that was enough.
Feeling his breath on her neck, Rong Yue felt her body getting warmer and warmer until it became unbearable and she pushed him away.
"Why are you thanking me? Wasn't I worrying for nothing the whole time!"
"You could have left me a proper message that would have allowed me to know that you were making yourself a willing bait!"
