97 Hiring Fang Mo

After letting of the Miss Tang, Rong Yue went ahead to have her lunch while waiting for the second person. As for Lu San, he immediately reported what had just happened to Qin Yichen.

Qin Yichen who was in a meeting raised two fingers up to let the person that was talking pause as soon as he heard the familiar ding of Lu San’s message. His face darkened immediately upon reading the long text, how dare an insignificant manager like her think that she could make his woman bow to her?

“Deal with her accordingly,” with that instruction, he went back to the meeting knowing that Lu San would already understand.

It was easy to give Rong Yue a golden finger manager that could work well with her, after all, his mind was made up on making her his woman no matter how much time it took.

However, because he knew very well that this was just something she was building for her mother and a friend, he decided to just let them have a considerably good manager for the start.

But that didn’t mean he was going to allow some mere manager bully his little girl!

Everyone in the room watched Qin Yichen with bated breath as his faced darkened and frown lines appeared on his face as they wondered what could have happened to the company, after all, they wouldn’t dare to think that it was because of a girl that their boss was this angry. fr𝚎𝘦𝘄𝙚𝗯𝗻𝗼𝐯e𝗹. 𝑐o𝒎

After a few seconds, Qin Yichen regained control over his emotions and waved his hand for the person that was doing a presentation before to continue.

All of them at the board table sighed in relief, as long as it wasn’t something too dangerous.

.....

But the next few minutes proved that it was not the best decision as every presentation had close to ten flaws each pointed out by Qin Yichen.

A lot of them looked at Lu Bo helplessly as they sat back stiffly in their seats.

“President, do you think they should go and redo the proposals instead, it seems like they have come unprepared,” Lu San bent and whispered into Qin Yichen’s ears after seeing that his emotions were already soiled.

With the chime of the phone, Lu Bo was sure that it was Lu San that had sent a message. With everything that had been happening in the past week, he was very certain that this was related to the boss.

Although he was happy that the boss was finally seeing someone that he liked, for someone that didn’t seem like she could take care of herself. It would even be worse if the Qin family ridiculed the boss because of her.

At this point, he had forgotten that Rong Yue was only an high school student and even the young heirs from the rich family were all still playing around at this stage.

Also, he had no idea that she was the developer that he was full of awe and respect for, after all, she had been in a disguise on the two occasions that they met.

Back in city A,

The second candidate was Fang Mo, although he was a lot younger than Tang Xuan and was in his early thirties, he had managed his company extremely well and got commendable results in about five years.

When he came in, Rong Yue greeted him and he replied politely before greeting Lu San full of respect.

“She’s the boss that you are here to meet, I’m only her assistant,” Lu San said as he glanced at Rong Yue.

Fang Mo’s face morphed into shock and surprise as he had clearly not been expecting it, he gave a more respectful nod at Rong Yue before settling in the seat opposite her.

“Thank you for coming, although it is not large scale yet, I intend to make it one with time and I have the products that would back my intended results. Since you have experience in the health industry, you have to understand that the most important thing would always be the results, word of mouth is something that would eventually happen,” she explained to him and her detailed knowledge made Fang Mo even more serious as he nodded his head repeatedly.

She passed him the document she had already done to show him what she wanted.

Fang Mo read through it seriously for a while, his eyes twinkling as he saw the layout she had done. Although she was young, he was sure even the best teams he had worked with couldn’t come up with this.

Also, he was more than certain that this girl in front of him was either a genuis or had someone behind her doing all the planning.

“This is very impressive and feasible. As long as the products can do the miracles you claim they can, I don’t see a reason why it shouldn’t work,” he said honestly and that made Rong Yue nod internally.

He didn’t see this as an opportunity to sell himself or make himself seem more dignified and was rather very open about how good the work they were planning to do was.

“So would you mind joining the team? We would work hand in hand to make this a success,” Rong Yue promised alongside her offer as she looked away to take a sip of her milkshake.

Fang Mo sighed and then looked back at the document again. It was so good that even he could already see the picture of it coming alive.

However, he was also not much of a risk taker.

“Mr Fang, you must know that if your company lays you off, you value would drop with that as many people would not believe it was a strive for the company that implicated you. Also, there’s no saying what hand your opponent would deal with you since they are already so desperate. So....” She left the remaining parts of her words hanging in the air.

Hearing her words, Fang Mo froze. Her knowing the deep internal matters of their company that even the staff had no idea about was definitely a sign that she had capabilities that weren’t small.

Also, she had been able to point out all the possiblities of his predicament that was troubling him.

He finally looked up into her bright and gleaming eyes that made him feel like she was looking into his soul and somehow, it felt like everything was perfectly in her control and nothing could go wrong.

“So what do you say?” Rong Yue asked, breaking the magical moment and Fang Mo sighed softly, “I agree.” He said as he fell back into his chair.

Rong Yue smiled widely, glad that it had gone well and she stretched her hand for a handshake.

“I cannot guarantee what tomorrow holds, but I can promise you that as long as you don’t betray me, you will not for one day regret this decision you have made,” she promised and then passed him another folder.

“I’ll give you five days to clear things up with your old company after which would start work in full, before then, an onboarding pay would be made into your account,” she told him.

Since they were done there, Lu San packed up all the documents and followed behind Rong Yue as she left the restaurant.

Not only was he impressed by how she had handled the negotiation by taking control of his weak point, emotions and then offering him the perfect solution that he needed, Lu San was also curious to see what was inside the document that she had shown Fang Mo.

To commend those ones were important but one had to also understand that she had been able to spot that Tang Xuan was a bad fit for the role and didn’t bother to risk showing her the intricately drawn plan that they had.

All in all, he was won over by her professionalism and skills.

“Young Miss, Do you want to have a look at the machines or would you prefer to take a detour home?” Lu San asked as they got to the car park.

“Let’s have a look at it once and for all, if it isn’t okay, we can send them back and if they are okay, I will make a few tweaks on them for them to do better works,”

Lu San’s mouth twitched as he remembered how she had bought several parts for her computer and then created a recording goods machine back at the store she used to work.

He didn’t want to ask further as he felt that it was possible that Rong Yue had known he was following her even from that time.

With that, he made a left turn and the both of them went towards the laboratory that they had built.

Since it was partnership, the best thing Rong Yue did was find the essence of each product and keep that recipe aside while the other workers would be working on mass making the ones that made up the whole part.

She had also drawn the production warehouse in a place where no team would know what was happening in the other team.

With all that preparations, it was only normal to anticipate everything falling in place.

But would it go as smoothly as she had planned?
