The moment Vika laid eyes on Vexthra, she tensed. She could sense with every fibre of her being that the lady who appeared from thin air wasn’t someone she could offend.

She tried to sense her cultivation, but not even a strand of her energy could be felt. She felt like she was a mere ant before her.

But her shock didn’t end there.

Just like how Vexthra appeared, space warped, and Miryssa also walked out, holding a smile on her face. After her, Lene appeared as well, the same smile playing on her face.

The smile was, of course, directed at Kent, whom they decided to prank after he called out to them for help.

After savouring the taste of his lips, she pulled back and made way for Miryssa to have a go at it. Only when both of them had had enough did Vexthra speak.

"Sorry about that, dear, we just wanted to see this look on your face."

Kent smirked. "Wicked vixens. What if my life was really in danger?"

"Good thing your life wasn’t in danger." Miryssa giggled and covered her mouth. Seeing this, Kent made a mental note to punish her when he returned from his mission.

However, while he was annoyed by how long it took them to arrive, his confidence returned now that they were here. He turned and looked at Vika, who had already started cursing herself for meeting someone like Kent.

"So you want to make me your slave, huh?" He took a step forward and appeared before Vika, whose paleness seemed to have become even whiter. "How about you show me how you planned to turn me into your slave?"

He spread his arms as if to tell her who is in control now. His wives and Lene smirked, acknowledging his shamelessness.

Vika, on the other hand, trembled, looking into Kent’s eyes. While she was already scared, just now, as she looked deep into Kent’s eyes, what she saw scared the hell out of her.

"I-I..." She tried to speak, but no words came out.

Seeing this, Kent smirked and turned to face Fallon and Aysel. "Want to go somewhere special?"

They nodded subconsciously, since even though they weren’t in danger anymore, the fact that two gods and a demigod now stood before them was all the shock they needed.

Aysel has a unique ability that allows her to see through anyone’s cultivation base. She can share it with anyone she wants. This allowed them to know exactly what kind of monsters now stood before them.

So when Kent asked the question, they nodded.

"Let’s go home then." Kent waved his hand, and the next second, they all vanished into the tower, Vika included.

With Vexthra and Miryssa appearing, not even her partial domain managed to withstand their presence. This made it easy for Kent to take her with them.

They appeared in the mountain garden.

The moment they arrived, Fallon pulled her sister close to her. This was a new place, somewhere none of them had any idea of, so she became overprotective.

"Relax, this is the safest place you can ever be," Kent said before introducing his wives. "This is Vexthra, the goddess of hatred and resentment, and Miryssa, one of the 14 Chronicles of the Storm."

Afterwards, he turned to Lene. "And this is Lene. She is a Night Rider." While Vexthra and Miryssa were gods, the mention of Night Riders pulled all attention to Lene, who smiled cutely.

There was basically no way they hadn’t heard of the Night Riders, especially since many storytellers told their story. In the universe, they were known as the strongest team to ever live, even surpassing the Legion of Soul Sentinels.

However, in here, not only would you be protected by two gods, but without my permission, nobody could enter here. So like I said, it is the safest place for you and Aysel"

She nodded, though she showed no sign of feeling comfortable, not just yet. Kent knew that, but he made no effort to calm her down.

He turned his attention back to Vika.

Feeling his gaze on her, Vika trembled. "Relax, Vika. I promised to give you the Eternal Ghost Step, and I will. However, to ensure you don’t sell me out after I let you go, you have to sign this contract."

Kent waved his hand, and the contract flew toward her. "I am not petty enough to use the power of my wives to suppress you and kill you. I merely want to show you I am not the kind of person you can mess with.
