Chapter 772: Impossible [Bonus]

"Impossible."

Elder Lance almost shouted, looking at the display board. The two disciples behind him stood with their eyes wide open, staring at the display board like two idiots.

The various leaders from the different races also stood there, looking at the display board, unsure of what to say.

The names displayed on the board were just too much for them to handle at the moment.

>>> FLAME TOWER PARTICIPANT RANKING CHART<<<

1. Kent Madson - Flame Art (10) - Grade (Divine) - Mastered Forms (complete mastery) - Level (5)

2. Freya Stoneforge - Flame Art (2) - Grade (Mythic) - Mastered Forms (3/7) - Level (4)

The scoreboard changed again, and this time, everybody started to wonder just what the hell was going on.

Kent’s name was seated at the top, having mastered ten divine flame arts. Ten fucking divine-grade flame arts, and that was just too much for any of them to handle.

"How is this possible? How can one learn ten divine-grade techniques in less than an hour?" Elder Lance wondered, already sweating.

He came to the world of Sonox with little to no expectations, but at the moment, he could feel his blood boiling, not out of rage but shock.

Remove Kent from the equation and focus on the second-ranked player down to the fifteenth.

Freya Stoneforge had already learned two mythic-grade flame arts. The last time this happened was when the Pill Princess reached the 4th level and learned two mythic-grade techniques.

However, even back then, it took her almost two days to learn, and she nearly failed to learn the second technique.

Not only had someone managed to reach the 4th level much faster, but she had also mastered two mythic-grade flame arts. That was just too much for anyone to comprehend.

Back to Kent.

He had already proven to everyone what kind of monster he was, and the look on everyone’s face showed shock.

The Flame Dragon King looked at his elders. "How come we never knew of such a talent?"

"That was because until recently, he was on the human continent, and apparently, he was being hunted down by the Hand. He came to Elarion and chose to side with the Half-Elves. However, I never expected him to be this impressive."

King Veyron looked at the Half-Elves and saw the smug expressions on their faces. Kent had told them he would attribute everything to them so they would benefit from his brilliance.

This meant the status of the Half-Elves would rise soon, and it would be thanks to Kent, who had now joined them.

’Lucky bastards,’ King Veyron cursed at the Half-Elves.

Of course, that was all he could do. However, knowing there was this kind of genius among the Half-Elves, he knew something had to be done quickly, lest the dragons lose their dominance in the world of Sonox.

He looked toward the Crystal Dragon King, and the king nodded.

That small gesture contained some serious messages that one could comprehend. It would make anyone turn pale if they knew.

King Veyron looked at the Earth Dragon King and received the same nod.

Meanwhile, Queen Elenara wasn’t sure if it was her eyes or if Kent had just mastered ten divine-grade flame arts.

"Just how is any of this possible?" she muttered, looking dazed.

Usually, in events like this, the Elves turned to dominate.

But this time around, not only had a human managed to learn ten divine-grade flame arts, but even the second through the fifteenth spots were occupied by people she had initially looked down on.

That was both humiliating and borderline infuriating.

But the results were clear on the display board, and there was nothing she could do about it.

’This kid must die, else these half-breeds will grow a pair, and I can’t allow that to happen.’ Her delusion still prevented her from seeing reason, and that alone was why she would doom her race.

Meanwhile, the demons were riding a different wave. The display listed the names of some of their people, but the fact that Kent had managed to learn ten divine-grade flame arts told them all they needed to know.

"We need to get him on our side, and to do that, we need to get in the good graces of the Half-Elves," King Draxon, the Incubus King, said, looking at the display board.

"We should do that right when we leave here. I believe with this kid’s potential, we can finally gain the advantage our race needs," Queen Seraphina, the Succubus Queen, seconded what the Incubus King said.

The other demon kings and queens nodded to her words. So far, they were the only races with no active ways to explore the world outside their own.

A few had managed to reach the High World using the tribulation method, but that was much more perilous, as it resulted in the loss of many geniuses.

So they knew that getting to know Kent now meant that if he were to gain strength one day, he could help them acquire at least one ascension platform.

They were hopeful and knew things would work out as long as they stayed on Kent’s good side.

As for the dwarves, they were pleased to see their princess had already mastered two mythic-grade techniques.

They never expected her to master two mythic-grade techniques that fast, but they were aware she intended to climb to the 4th level, for she had trained for it.

Now, seeing her succeed was all they could have asked for. They were happy, especially her father, who couldn’t stop smiling.

The beasts were also hopeful that their people would be able to make them proud. Some had already shown promising results, and that was all they could ask for.

Their true geniuses had already received invites from the sect and would be taking the exams in a week, so seeing more join the roster was already enough for them.

More names were added, and by the time the day ended, the arrangement started to shift even more.

Elder Lance was quiet the entire time, for he didn’t understand how any of this was possible. He had seen geniuses in the sect, but this was his first time seeing something this bizarre.

"Elder Lance, what should we do?" the male disciple behind him asked, already knowing what kind of chaos this would cause in the sect when news broke out.

"We can watch now and report everything to the supreme elders later. I am sure they will know what to do. Until then, not a word to anyone when we go back."
