Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System-Chapter 774: Handsome Redhead
Chapter 774: Handsome Redhead
(Kent’s POV - One Hour After He Fell Asleep)
On the fifth level, Kent’s body remained asleep; however, his consciousness was somewhere else. He didn’t know how it happened; however, to him, one moment he was resting at the 5th level, the next, he woke up in a weird space.
"Where in hell am I?" Kent almost shouted when he appeared atop a floating island over a sea of lava. The entire landscape was made of lava, and just looking at it made Kent’s body shudder.
He may have already boasted that, with his current flame resistance and other aspects, he would be able to jump into an active volcano and swim in the lava like a fish.
However, the truth of the matter was that he would be reduced to ash before even reaching 200 meters from its surface.
He could see the heat, and while he was safe on the floating island, stepping off it would be a disaster for him.
Kent turned and looked over the floating island; however, aside from dry land and a couple of jagged stones, there was nothing else worth noting.
There was no one, no note, or anything that pointed to the reason why he was there.
The tower also wasn’t responding to his call, so he knew he wasn’t in his real body.
This was just a realm into which his consciousness had been pulled. But then there was nobody there for the last time his consciousness was pulled; he met Chaos and Faceless.
"Maybe I am dreaming." Kent, being a simple man, came to a sudden conclusion, so he sat down and decided to rest again.
He was surrounded by death, but knowing he was protected from the heat while on the island, he chose to sleep. He sat down and lay his back on the ground, lifting his right leg to rest on his left knee.
"Though this dream is not pleasant at all. Perhaps next time I should comprehend ice; I might just end up in a fortress of solitude where the air would be much more comforting." frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
Kent closed his eyes and started to wait for when he would wake up from his dream.
A few hours went by, but he was still there. However, Kent knew he wouldn’t be there for long, for he knew the moment the three days were over, the tower would wake him up.
However, nothing prepared him for what happened three hours after he entered the weird realm.
At first, he thought perhaps the sun was being covered by a cloud. However, after a few moments of thought, he realized there was no sun where he was. The lava pool lit the space.
So then, why was a shield covering his face? That shouldn’t be possible.
Kent knew that much was true. So he opened his eyes, and that was when his gaze met a handsome redhead smiling down at him.
"What the f—" Kent shot up, landing a few meters from the person who stood over him. When his eyes landed on the redhead, his body shuddered.
Instinctively, Kent’s claws elongated because he couldn’t pull his sword. He went into battle stance immediately, and for a moment, he thought about charging at the figure, not out of desperation but sheer fear.
’That is a demigod.’ Kent didn’t know how he knew, but he just knew the person before him was a demigod, and judging by the way his mere presence was making him feel, he knew even his chaos blood wouldn’t be able to shield him from the danger staring at him.
"Just fear?" the handsome redhead muttered, looking strangely at Kent. Of course, Kent was also looking at him strangely.
However, the reason behind the strange looks from both of them was completely different.
Kent was looking at the handsome redhead to see if his life was in danger. He felt the aura and knew feelings like that weren’t normal.
There had to be a reason.
Of course, that was Kent’s thought, for he hadn’t felt fear, not even once, from the very moment he was sent to this world.
The only time he could have felt fear was when he, Kaizo, Veydris, and Sylara poisoned the Tyrant King in Fedora.
But even back then, instead of fear, he felt the rush to put his life in danger and dance on the edge of life and death.
However, today he felt genuine fear. That was immediately translated into hostile intent, and for that, Kent assumed the handsome redhead demigod was out for blood.
However, while Kent’s thought was his own, the demigod was having a completely different thought. In all the things he wanted to see or had seen, a mortal standing with no sign of falling to his knees at his presence wasn’t one of them.
He expected Kent not even to be able to stand up when he appeared. However, Kent not only stood up; he even activated a weapon and was ready to mess him up.
That was just too shocking, and so the demigod was taken aback.
No mortal can stand before a demigod and not drop to their knees, regardless of whether or not the demigod emits their presence. But Kent was standing there and could move freely.
This made the handsome redhead point at him, "You Dragon boy, who are you, and why can you stand my presence?"
The question was simple, straightforward, yet the answer was one that Kent knew had to be calculated.
He could sense something was supposed to have happened when the man appeared, and now that it was confirmed, he knew he had to tread carefully.
If he were to say the wrong thing, he didn’t know how that would result for him. He was not in control of the whole situation. His life is in danger now.
So, he had to answer the question with carefully chosen words and a firm resolve. If he didn’t say the right words, he might just get smoked.
However, while Kent was aware of the severity of this situation, he also didn’t feel the need to say the right words. For some reason, the craziness he inherited from Chaos was influencing him.
And while that could be managed, Kent had also told himself that he would trust himself and would never deny any part of himself. Doing so would be betraying himself.
So Chaos is crazy, and while he can choose not to be crazy too, he can’t deny himself.
But by being crazy, he knew he would say the wrong thing, and the end game would be bad for him.
’Moments like this are what we call the Three Body problem.’
’I have the means and resolve, but they are all dangerous.’
’Then again, Chaos only said he was going to the Primal Void, and when he returned, he would kill every last problem hindering Lumen, and he did.’
He only said what he meant and believed in it. That is the spirit of the Chaos Dragon.
The end game was how he wanted it to be, and now, he was faced with one roadblock, and the only thing he could think of was to brag.
’That is a demigod, but I am the Chaos Dragon... my blood is thicker than his.’
"Pay attention, Mr. Demigod, for I will not repeat myself."A grin appeared on Kent’s face. "You are honored to be in the presence of the undefeated, the most handsome, and the sane one.
I go by many names. They referred to my great self in my titles and described in my tonations. I dont sing my praises, but you can call me the Primordial Chaos Dragon."
