Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System-Chapter 784: Third Floor - The Unbreakable City (2) [Bonus]
Chapter 784: Third Floor - The Unbreakable City (2) [Bonus]
"So, after a quick deliberation with my Primordial Spirits, we came up with a way to break the walls." Unity paused to let her sisters and friends take in her words.
After ensuring she had the floor, she began to share her discovery.
"According to my Primordial Spirits, Camilla’s spear can break the wall. The reason is that she has a weapon spirit that can give her 5% of her power.
As I understand it, adding the power boost to Camilla’s own power will make breaking the wall easy.
However, there is a catch. She can only do it once, and after that, she will pass out for at least a month. But she has what it takes to break it.
Even if she fails, she will come close to breaking it, something we can continue on our own. Neomi can do it easily since she also has a weapon spirit to boost her attack."
Kent nodded, but he knew it would demand more than what Unity had just said.
"The question now is whether or not the attack will be enough.
This whole floor reeks of conspiracy. I have a feeling the immortal-level attack they are asking for is for the attack to contain an immortal aura," Kent said, making everyone sigh.
"Of course, we have one solution, and we will try it, but before we do that, we must come up with another method that, should the first attack fail, we can adopt.
I already have one in mind, which I planned on using at first, but now, Camilla will be attacking first, and the second will be me. Should the two of us fail, Neomi, you can also go."
Kent wanted to keep all their cards on the table. The third floor reeks of danger, and he could feel it, so he wasn’t about to act nonchalant.
He knew a lot would be involved in clearing it, and so the planning had to be perfect. There can’t be any mistake in executing any of the plans.
"So the plan is simple. Camilla will open for us, and while we all believe she will give it her all, we should also be ready in case her attack isn’t sufficient.
Now, if her attack doesn’t take down the wall, I will follow up with my attack and hope that does the job. Now, should that one too fail, Neomi, you will go.
However, I believe we can handle it; even Camilla is enough," Kent smiled, knowing full well things can go both ways.
"Now, should the wall come down, there are 100,001 bloodthirsty warriors who would surely want our heads and drink our blood.
You don’t have to think about what to do, for the odds are already against us, so go all out. Please don’t hold back, for they surely wouldn’t hold back against us."
"Just get the wall down and the rest will be handled," Kaizo said, already itching to get into battle.
Kent looked at Camilla. "Are you up for it?"
She nodded. "Too bad I won’t be able to fight with you all after using my attack." She smiled, though the smile didn’t reach her eyes. It was plain as day she wanted to join the battle.
But she also understood her role and was happy to do it.
"Don’t worry about it. You will have the chance to fight in the subsequent ones." Kent patted her head, making sure she was alright.
They began to prepare, as their initial plan to handle the 3rd level had encountered a roadblock.
Kent held Vexthra’s hand and moved her to the side. "The moment Camilla unleashes her attack, take her to the tower and stay there.
If you were here, I have a feeling you would be tempted to intervene should the odd turn out to be more than we can handle, and I don’t have to remind you that doing so will be bad for you and everyone else."
"I understand." Vexthra sighed. She had expected to be able to use her power here, considering it is a unique dungeon, but it turned out she had hoped for too much.
In a unique world, she can use her god abilities, but here, even a slight trace of her divine energy will call the heavenly laws’ attention to her.
It was one of the reasons why she was learning to become human again.
She wants to know how to feel human and behave like one, so that when she suppresses her power to the stage of a mortal, she won’t instinctively use her divine powers.
Her progress is relatively slow, but she is doing her best.
"Don’t worry, the tower will allow you to watch everything." Kent kissed her and then moved to the edge of the mountain.
’What a strange dungeon.’

[The Unbreakable City - Inside Tyrant Throne Room]
Inside a dimly lit room filled with the metallic stench of blood sat a menacing humanoid figure. He was muscular, and even in his sitting posture, his height was about 7 feet.
This showed that his standing height would be a sight to behold. He sat in a bone throne featuring an amalgamation of different bones connected.
Battle scars littered his chest and hands.
His left arm, as thick as it could get, rested on the armrest of his throne, with his fist supporting his left jaw.
The look in his eyes was calm and calculating. However, a sudden bang on the door caused his eyes to flash crimson. The figure who entered the hall came to a halt and then went to his knees.
"I am sorry, my King... I never meant to disturb your rest, but we have a situation." For a moment, the air inside the hall stopped.
The tigerkin who made the report felt his heart beat slow down, already knowing that if his excuse wasn’t bought, things would get dark for him. freeweɓnovel~cѳm
Luckily for him, his death didn’t come. "Speak."
"Our spy birds spotted enemies 2 miles from here, and judging by how they are studying the city, they might attack anytime from now. What are your orders?"
"How many are they, and what are their power levels?" the tiger king asked.
"They are all at the peak of the Core Formation stage, with only one still at the Root Sovereign stage. We counted about 30 of them, but their number may exceed that."
The tiger king raised his head slightly and looked at the tiger kneeling on the floor.
For a moment, the thought of killing him flashed across his eyes, but knowing that killing someone like him would cost him a Spirit King, he flicked his hand, and the tiger was sent flying out of the throne room.
"Don’t bother me with useless reports like this again. Try again and you won’t live to see the next day." His tone was calm, but those who heard it felt their bodies freeze for a moment.
As a Spirit Sovereign, only three levels away from becoming a Spirit Lord, his mere words were enough to make Spirit Emperors and below shudder and pee their pants.
’Even Spirit Kings failed to breach my unbreakable walls, what could a bunch of Core Formation experts do?’
He rested his left jaw on his fist again and closed his eyes. To him, Kent and his team were mere bugs he could crush under his foot.
If only he knew what was coming...
