Primordial Villain With A Slave Harem-Chapter 767: Vex’s Home
Chapter 767: Vex’s Home
A butler stood at the open gate with perfect posture with his gloved hands clasped behind his back. His silver-streaked hair was combed immaculately, and his suit was pressed so cleanly it looked like he’d been summoned out of a catalogue. Four maids flanked him—two on either side—each wearing matching uniforms with frilled collars and black aprons. All four bowed in perfect unison.
“Welcome home, Lady Verdia,” they said in sync, voices crisp and professional despite the… unusual sight.
Their eyes, however, told a different story. All of them were frozen in various degrees of wide-eyed alarm, clearly unsure how to process the image before them: their lady dangling over a man’s shoulder like a sack of potatoes, her legs swaying hopelessly in the air. The worst of it must’ve been the fact that instead of her face, they were greeted by the sight of her butt.
“I…” one maid blinked. “Pardon me, my lady, but… is this gentleman… carrying you against your will?”
Vex didn’t even attempt to address the confusion. “Wilfred, girls. Thank you for the warm welcome. I appreciate your hard work in preparing the estate.”
The butler, evidently called Wilfred, bowed his head. “We live to serve, my lady.”
The maids, still trying to keep their expressions straight, echoed, “Y-yes, my lady.”
Their timing was off by a beat. At least one of them stifled a cough that was definitely a laugh.
I narrowed my eyes at the sight of them. No one should’ve known we were coming. We made no announcement. No messengers. No papers. No obvious signs.
That meant there were only two possibilities. Either there were spies or runners stationed throughout the capital lying in wait to lay their eyes on Lady Verdia…
Or, more likely, she had signaled them with a hidden artifact. Something subtle, something I wouldn’t have noticed her activate. Perhaps the moment I warped us into the city, a pulse was sent back to the estate, giving her servants a precious few minutes to prepare for her arrival.
Clever girl. She wanted me to see her domain at its most polished. Wanted me to see her home as something grand and dignified.
How cute.
She gave my back a playful tap. “You can put me down now, show’s over.”
Knowing the game was indeed over, I gently lowered her down. She straightened her clothes, did a slow spin to dust herself off, and gave the servants a little nod of appreciation now that she could face them properly.
Together, we walked up the pathway, letting me inspect the garden as we approached the ornate doors of her Victorian-style mansion. The interior was every bit as pristine as the outside: chandeliers gleaming, marble floors shining, rich wood paneling polished to a reflective sheen. This place reeked of wealth, but not in the gaudy, excessive way of the excessive poshness seen in high nobility who were desperate to flaunt their power. No, this was tasteful. Controlled. Every piece of furniture and every vase had a purpose.
I expected her to drag me up the spiral staircase leading to her bedroom. But, instead, she veered right, past the dining hall, through a narrow side corridor, and down.
Stone replaced marble. Lights dimmed. The walls grew colder, lined with iron sconces and the occasional locked cabinet filled with scrolls and enchanted trinkets.
“…Not your bedroom,” I muttered.
Vex didn’t even look back. “Nope. I wouldn’t have brought you here just to do it in my bed… Yours would’ve sufficed.”
I accepted her words with a happy grin on my face and a little movement in my pants. The slumbering beast twitched, sensing an imminent ambush lay on the path ahead of him. A mighty duel was about to go down.
We reached a solid wooden door reinforced with silver bands. She pressed her palm against a strange metal that had the shape of her hand etched into the frame. Nothing happened for a brief second, but then with a low click, the door creaked open, revealing a staircase that descended further into shadow.
“After you,” she said with a little grin.
Now I was feeling less eager all of a sudden.
“You lead me to your secret basement, hidden behind some sort of magical mechanism, alone, after indicating I have too many women already,” I said. “This is not your yandere self trying to chain me to your basement, right?”
She looked at me with a raised eyebrow. “Yandere?”
“Basically, an overly possessive girl who would go to any length to keep the hoes away from her man, even killing him and then herself if she’s truly gone off the deep end.” ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
Her curiosity seamlessly transitioned to one of amusement. “Well, well, well…” she chuckled ominously, holding her arms out so I couldn’t run back up the stairs behind her. “It appears I’ve been found out. What are you gonna do about it, hubby~?”
“Oh dear.”
She was so goddamned hot with her crazy swirly red eyes, I simply couldn’t help myself.
Her amusement slowly transformed into a dry stare once her eyes traveled down, toward my pants.
“Seriously?”
“In my defense,” I said, shrugging my shoulders dismissively as if this was nothing but the expected outcome, “dangerously strong crazy chicks are way too hot.”
She exhaled through her nose, then cracked a smirk. “You’re lucky I’m so tolerant of your openly offensive statements…”
“Honestly, I feel lucky you haven’t chained me up already.”
“Keep acting like this and we’ll see, you horribly rude thug boyfriend of mine…” she giggled, sending me a wink while twirling a lock of her hair between her fingers.
I swallowed, half-aroused, half-terrified. Mostly aroused.
Gods, she was dangerous in more ways than one.
Vex descended first, rolling her eyes at my reluctance to walk ahead of her.
Her hips swayed in a slow, taunting rhythm. Every swing of that tight, shapely ass was a deliberate slap to my sanity. It was downright mesmerizing.
There was one thing I was absolutely certain of: she knew exactly what she was doing.
“That’s a rather sensual gait for someone leading her man into a secret dungeon.”
“Hmm? Oh, I didn’t even notice~” Her voice was pure sugar. “Maybe you should stop staring at my backside if it’s causing such… ‘discomfort.'”
Another deliberate sway.
My hands twitched. It took every ounce of willpower not to grab her right there on the stairs.
The air grew colder the deeper we went. The heavy scent of incense hit my nostrils… mixed with… copper? Blood?
And then we reached the bottom.
Her “basement” wasn’t a basement at all. It was her real home.
I made a mistake in yesterday’s chapters where I called Celeste ‘Cecil.’ It was not a random, unnamed person who Black Fang beat to get to Yoruha but the 8-tailed foxkin maid.
Also, I once again apologize to those of you who bundle-unlocked the chapters and got scammed by my mistake.
