Pseudoragori : Milking The Cafe With My Minotaur Wife-Chapter 23: Thanksgiving Break
Chapter 23 - Thanksgiving Break
The crisp autumn air carried the comforting scent of fallen leaves, and the house was filled with warmth as Mani and Mocha prepared for their Thanksgiving celebration. They had decided to spend the holiday quietly at home, cooking together and enjoying each other's company.
Mani stood at the counter, chopping vegetables with precision, while Mocha worked on seasoning the turkey. Her large hands moved deftly, sprinkling spices over the bird and massaging the seasoning into the skin.
"This is going to be the best turkey ever," Mocha declared, her red eyes gleaming with excitement.
Mani glanced over at her with a smile. "You say that every year, Mocha."
"And I'm always right," she replied with a wink, her tail swishing happily behind her.
As the turkey roasted in the oven, the two turned their attention to the side dishes. Mani stirred the pot of creamy mashed potatoes, adding a pinch of salt and a pat of butter.
"How's the stuffing coming along?" he asked, glancing at Mocha.
She was kneading dough for rolls, her strong hands making quick work of the soft, pliable dough. "Almost ready," she said, flashing him a grin. "And it's going to be perfect—just like everything else."
Mani chuckled. "You're pretty confident, huh?"
Mocha leaned over and kissed his cheek, leaving a faint smudge of flour behind. "Always, honey."
By the time the table was set, the kitchen was filled with the rich, mouthwatering aroma of their Thanksgiving feast. The golden-brown turkey sat at the center of the table, surrounded by bowls of stuffing, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, cranberry sauce, and freshly baked rolls.
Mani and Mocha sat across from each other, their eyes shining with pride as they admired their handiwork.
"We make a pretty good team," Mani said, raising his glass of sparkling cider.
"The best team," Mocha agreed, clinking her glass against his.
They dug into the feast, savoring every bite. The turkey was juicy and flavorful, the stuffing perfectly seasoned, and the mashed potatoes smooth and buttery.
"This is amazing," Mani said between bites. "You outdid yourself, Mocha."
Mocha laughed, her red eyes twinkling. "You're giving me too much credit, honey. We did this together."
After the meal, they moved to the couch, their stomachs full and their hearts content. A warm fire crackled in the fireplace, casting a cozy glow over the room.
Mocha leaned back, pulling Mani into her lap and wrapping her arms around him. "This was a perfect Thanksgiving," she said softly.
Mani rested his head against her chest, his eyes half-closed. "Yeah. Just us, good food, and no stress. I wouldn't trade this for anything."

Mocha kissed the top of his head, her tail swishing lazily. "Me neither, honey. You're all I need."
As they sat together, the warmth of their love and the memory of the day's feast made the holiday one they would cherish forever.
After cleaning up the remnants of their Thanksgiving feast, Mani and Mocha retreated to the bedroom, the soft glow of the moonlight spilling through the curtains. The warmth of the day still lingered, their hearts full from the food they'd shared and the quiet joy of being together.
Mani stretched as he slipped into bed, his body pleasantly tired from the day's activities. "That was one of the best Thanksgivings we've ever had," he said with a contented sigh.
Mocha entered the room shortly after, her long red hair cascading over her shoulders and her red eyes glowing softly in the dim light. She smiled as she climbed into bed, wrapping her arms around Mani and pulling him close.
"It's because we spent it together, honey," she said, her voice low and soothing. "Just the two of us, making memories."
Mani rested his head against her chest, the steady rhythm of her heartbeat calming him. "You're right. I wouldn't have it any other way."
Mocha chuckled, running her fingers gently through his hair. "You worked so hard today. You deserve some extra cuddles."
Her thick thighs enveloped him as she shifted slightly, cradling him against her warm, soft body. Mani sighed, his eyelids growing heavy as the comfort of her embrace wrapped around him like a cocoon.
"You're so warm," he murmured, his voice drowsy.
"And you're too cute," Mocha replied with a grin, leaning down to kiss his forehead. "You know I'll always take care of you, right?"
"I know," Mani said softly, his words barely audible as he drifted closer to sleep.
Mocha held him tightly, her tail swishing lazily as she watched his breathing slow. "Goodnight, honey," she whispered, her voice filled with love.
The two of them lay intertwined, the world outside fading away as they found peace in each other's arms. It was the perfect end to a perfect day, a reminder of the bond they shared and the love that carried them through every moment of their lives together.
