Chapter 662: 13.27 - The First Female Shifter

A few weeks later...

Meiyiang couldn’t stop crying even after Paxter and Moyu brought her to safety inside the leopard kingdom.

Her savior have died, and the thought that someone sacrificed their own life for hers was a lot to process.

She had been too weak to do anything to prevent her death and felt extremely frustrated with her own powerlessness.

Paxter and Moyu were looking at her with concern in their eyes. The two of them had finally put their possessive male instincts aside, and were willing to share Meiyiang, as long as she was safe.

Meiyiang noticed their stares, and realized that she had been selfish. How could she put them in danger for her own sake? She couldn’t allow that to happen ever again. She couldn’t lose anyone else.

"Paxter, Moyu," she called out to the two males.

"Yes?" they replied in unison, both of them eager to do whatever they could to help her.

"Please, promise me that you will keep each other safe," she said.

"We promise," they responded.

"Good." Meiyiang closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down. She was going to do something that she had never done before, but it was necessary.

She was going to use her knowledge to defend herself, no longer depending on others for protection.

She had to protect similar cases in the future if she wanted to prevent such a tragedy from happening again.

No one should have to die in order to protect her, and no one should have to go through the same kind of pain she was going through right now.

"I will avenge your death," she spoke to herself, ready to deal with females who would abuse other males, and take some burden off the males’ shoulders, so no kidnapping of females would be needed.

Meiyiang became proactive and started thinking about her future actions and strategies.

Her actions were soon recognized, and in no time, everyone was calling her the Beast Queen.

However, the title was only in name. The real power and positions of influence were held behind the scenes by Bing Shi’s team, who had been pulling the strings all along, challenging the female lead’s authority.

One year later...

Tyrion stood in the lake, the water up to his chest, and stared at his reflection in the water.

The moonlight cast a gentle glow on his features, highlighting his high cheekbones and the dark circles under his eyes. He ran a hand through his messy hair, pushing it out of his face.

The rest of the Hikairi’s group were doing some dirty stuff not too far from here. It was the usual. They all acted like they were happy, and like Hikairi was their whole world.

Despite her assuring words of loving them equally and treating them fairly, Tyrion felt like he couldn’t adapt to sharing her with others.

It wasn’t that he didn’t want her to love him the most, it was more that he didn’t want her to love anyone else but him. She didn’t love him enough to adapt to him, and he didn’t love her enough to adapt to her.

He hated this world, the traditions and customs, the society and everything in it.

There was no place for someone like him, someone who only wanted to love one person and not be shared.

He didn’t fit in this world, and he didn’t want to be a part of it anymore.

Bingship have died, he should as well.

He continued to walk deeper and deeper until the water was over his head, and then he let himself sink.

Water barely entered his nose when he felt a strong hand grip his horns, yanking him back to the surface, "Not on my watch, Tyrion."

Tyrion didn’t even look at the person who fished him out, he didn’t care who it was, "Let me be," he said weakly, but then paused.

A familiar feeling washed over him. His eyes finally looked at his saviour, and his breath stopped for a second.

Bingship? No, this one was different. It was not his mate, but the feeling of familiarity was too strong to ignore.

"..." He didn’t ask questions, just stared in disbelief.

Her snake tail swayed in the water, and she looked like a beautiful water nymph. Green hair, green eyes, green tail, green everything. She was green from head to toe, except for her skin, which was pale.

Female beastmen couldn’t shift from their human forms, and Bing Shi made her team research why by studying the male bodies they occupied and their genes.

Coming from an advanced abo world, they used the knowledge to their advantage.

And so, Bing Shi was the first female who could transform into a serpent. Why have a human body when you could be a snake beastwoman?

Not far away, Xuan Mu was swimming in his swan form. Stinky Bun and Ziek basked on his back, enjoying the ride.

They had no idea about the hateful Xian Mu in the other space, who was currently in the middle of a mental breakdown after Bing Shi left behind Biyu to keep him company.

Bing Shi wasn’t going to spend years cheering him up and helping him heal from his demons. He was born out of her absence, and so her presence was a big no no to his existence.

She didn’t want him gone, and believed that he was going to have a blast with her gloom bug Biyu.

Back to the present, Bing Shi lifted Tyrion by his horn and threw him on the shore like a fish.

"Is your relationship with your current female so bad you’d rather die than live with them? I don’t remember the previous two being this bad. What’s the problem?" she questioned, curious about the situation, slithering towards him.

Tyrion’s eyes widened in surprise, and he was momentarily stunned, "How? I thought you were dead."

"I can’t die, unlike you," Bing Shi didn’t refute being Bingship, because that’s who she was, just with a different body, "Don’t worry, you are not hallucinating."

Tyrion’s eyes were full of disbelief and confusion, but also a spark of hope. No, not about claiming her as his mate, but as someone who made an unattainable be attainable.

She helped him give up his obsession with a mate bond, so maybe...she could make him fit into the world?

"Can you make me normal?" Tyrion asked, hopeful.

╔═══ Author’s note ════╗

This note was posted after I published the Chapter, so you don’t have to pay extra coins for the extra words.

I plan to complete this novel in a couple of Chapters, mainly tying things together, and having a proper goodbye to the characters, including with the ones from other worlds.

Thank you fieryscarlett02 and ana_chan_3149 for supporting me despite my trashy publishing schedule. I would have dropped the novel if i didn’t have the motivation from your support for so many years.

Few things happened that demotivated me from writing, mainly the fact that this novel is a flop (someone gave me a reality check, heh).

‎I refused to put it on hiatus because that would have made me lose motivation to continue it, and i want to complete this, and not let it be unfinished.

‎I know how hard it can be to wait for an‎ update, and admire the people who still read my work despite that.

I hope we can all agree on this and call this beastworld arc a wrap.‎

A rushed ending is better than no ending, I hope.

The following worlds would have been mainly slice of life with little to no conflict.

Mr. and Mrs. Jelly have grown up to deal with‎ anything that comes their way, effortlessly so.

A filler Chapters of their adventures in different‎ worlds would not have added anything to the plot, though I believed it would have been very enjoyable‎ to read.

Thank you, everyone, and enjoy the following mass release of the final Chapters!
