Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap-Chapter 1022: I’m Leaving
Benjamin Shaw didn’t even turn his head, as if Alice Turner wasn’t speaking to him. He continued to focus intently on the TV. Just as she couldn’t stand it and was about to speak again, he suddenly turned his head and looked at her, "Just wait, I don’t know when I’ll be free."
After speaking without any emotion, he turned his head back and continued to watch TV, looking like someone truly in need of a beating.
"Benjamin Shaw! Do you find this amusing? I think it’s completely pointless." Alice Turner knew Benjamin was doing it on purpose, but she couldn’t understand why he was doing it. Was it just because she was late the other day?
Is he really that petty? It doesn’t seem like it.
Benjamin turned his head and threw a sentence that almost made Alice faint from anger, "But I find it really amusing."
This time, he didn’t immediately turn back to watch TV but stared at her for a while. When he saw her face turning ugly, he coolly curled his lips.
"Benjamin Shaw! Then we have nothing to discuss. You can leave." Alice Turner had completely lost patience with Benjamin Shaw and stood up, rudely issuing an eviction order.
She initially wanted to discuss it calmly with him, but instead, he acted like this, purposely trying to play rogue with her.
Benjamin, however, exhibited a nonchalant attitude, looking up with complete indifference at the woman who stood up, "This is my home, I’m not leaving."
He sat there motionless, seemingly determined to argue with her to the end.
"That’s right! This is your home, not mine. I’m leaving!" Alice Turner turned and walked out of the living room. Once out, she didn’t immediately head for the door but went to the bedroom instead.
She wasn’t speaking out of anger or just saying it casually; she truly intended to leave here. Initially, she planned to leave after finding a place, but unexpectedly, circumstances didn’t allow it, so she had to leave early.
To completely sever ties, Alice Turner returned to the bedroom and packed up all her belongings. She didn’t really have much, aside from some clothes, books, and her laptop.
Two suitcases were enough to contain all those items. After packing, she dragged a suitcase with each hand out of the room. As she walked towards the door, she suddenly remembered she forgot to remove the key.
Alice Turner stopped, took out the key from the bag she carried with her, removed the house key, and walked briskly back into the living room. She bent down and placed the key on the coffee table.
"Here’s the key, returning it to you." As she stood up, she picked up the book she had left on the coffee table and then turned to leave the living room without looking back.
"If you leave, then never come back." Watching the woman stride towards the outside, Benjamin shouted angrily.
It was as if Alice Turner didn’t hear him; she didn’t even turn her head, quickly leaving the living room. Once outside, she hurriedly dragged her suitcase and left.
After living here for half a year, it’s impossible not to have any feelings, but she didn’t feel any attachment. She glanced around the room, then turned and decisively opened the door and left.
Bam!
Hearing the sound of the door closing, Benjamin’s heart suddenly skipped a beat, and he tilted his head towards the door. He didn’t see anything, yet he kept looking, not noticing that his neck was aching.
