Rebirth: A Cinderella's Counterattack-Chapter 1202 - 1182: Huangfu
The remaining people gradually went inside, and the four of them were about to embark on this journey with an unknown path.
"Alliance?" At this moment, a voice emerged.
Luo Qianqian looked up and saw a pair of bright, clear eyes belonging to the young boy in a light blue robe who had just spoken. His eyes seemed to speak, staring directly at her.
Behind him were a dozen or so individuals, clearly following his lead.
Hearing the boy’s words, a few among them discreetly furrowed their brows, obviously disagreeing with what he said.
"Are you asking me?" Luo Qianqian was somewhat cautious, after all the people ’picked up’ along the way were too many, right?
The boy nodded slightly, as if affirming Luo Qianqian’s question.
First came Haan Yun, the downtrodden Seventh Prince, which she accepted, considering such an identity couldn’t easily be discarded.
Then came Yan, who obviously made Tang Tianyi a bit unhappy, yet they later got along harmoniously. With more people joining, she honestly couldn’t imagine what the troop would turn into...
She hesitantly turned around and looked at the other three.
Haan Yun silently lowered his head: "Does my opinion matter? You wouldn’t listen anyway." He muttered softly, still audible to everyone.
Luo Qianqian rolled her eyes, feeling speechless; it’s just that he did some manual labor, wasn’t it? Handling a few corpses of those chasing them, which he attracted, wasn’t a problem, right? No issues whatsoever!
Yan, seeing Luo Qianqian’s glance, shrugged indifferently: "Doesn’t matter to me, as long as there’s... hey hey, you know, I’m with you."
Tang Tianyi, though, seriously assessed the boy in the blue robe and sighed lightly when seeing Luo Qianqian’s uncertain gaze: "Let’s form an alliance."
Luo Qianqian looked at Tang Tianyi in surprise, her face full of disbelief.
"Just traveling together, not sleeping together, what are you worrying about?" Yan laughed at Luo Qianqian’s shock.
Her face instantly flushed with a bit of annoyance; did this person even know what he was saying?
Coming to herself, she noticed the boy still seriously looking at her, as if ignoring what others were saying.
"Then let’s ally, have a pleasant cooperation." Luo Qianqian extended her hand and exchanged a handshake with the boy, revealing a carefree smile. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
The two teams quickly merged into one and entered the Endless Forest. As they left, the barrier closed smoothly, leaving no trace.
"Looks like we’re in for quite a show," White Lake remarked after exchanging glances with Wu Jin, bursting into laughter.
"What’s your name?" The boy in blue caught up with Luo Qianqian, who was walking ahead, asking softly.
Luo Qianqian stiffened; though they were in the same team, wasn’t this a form of flirting? Yes, it was flirting.
"Luo, Luo Shiqi." She paused briefly before continuing forward: "And yours?"
Soon relieved, considering Haan Yun in the team was a talking complaint box, full of negativity; Yan rarely spoke, and Tang Tianyi always kept a stern face, observing everything, leaving her as the only approachable one.
"Yihui, Huangfu Yihui." The boy in blue replied with his name.
Luo Qianqian was surprised, noticing that after the boy said his name, his followers released their auras.
"Are you still of Royal Bloodline?" Luo Qianqian appeared casual: "Did you also get kicked out?"
"Also?" Huangfu Yihui paused, slightly glancing at Luo Qianqian’s group of three, raising a brow, realizing one of them was a prince expelled from the palace.
Upon considering, the Southern Li Royal Family seemed harsher than other royal families?
Soon relieved, as a prince who passed the test, he naturally brimmed with pride.
"No, I came out for training." Huangfu Yihui lightly shook his head: "You all had a tough time on your journey, right?"
Royal Bloodlines couldn’t drift outside, and such apparently underage imperial clan disciples could only ’accidentally’ perish.
Once grown, committing certain errors could lead to removal of royal identity, but still would damage the royal family’s reputation.
The best way was ’accident’, ’death by illness’, ’fatal accidents’; with appearances intact, it seemed only a matter of weak fortune unable to bear royal aura’s burden.
Numerous women bearing Royal Bloodline passed away under similar pretexts.
"I see, your name seems to harbor such sentiments too? Shining brightly, those who named you must’ve placed great hopes in you." Luo Qianqian chuckled lightly, continuing forward.
Seeing Luo Qianqian not getting too close, the dozen guards visibly relaxed. Their prince in the Imperial City, no matter where, was surrounded by a flock of birds and butterflies; a moment of negligence could lead to diverse tugging and pulling by women.
If not provocative, those fervent women might’ve snapped His Royal Highness alive in the streets.
Luo Qianqian’s behavior eased their tension. Nonetheless, with caution, they were wary of any reverse psychology tricks.
Huangfu Yihui, however, didn’t explain much, only responding with a soft smile.
Behind him, his entourage sighed deeply.
Moreover...
Noticing, among the three men around this woman who had distinct personalities, yet clearly followed her lead, if one were a prince, her capabilities were surely formidable.
Luo Qianqian didn’t care about those thoughts; she was busy sightseeing: "Such a beautiful landscape with no strange occurrences, yet why is it considered dangerous?"
"That’s because..."
"There’s something wrong!" Yan interrupted Huangfu Yihui abruptly, setting aside the wine jug filled with a 1:1 ratio of drink. ’1’ referred to a small glass, and ’1’ a jug of water.
Tang Tianyi had suggested saving, even if they had more, shouldn’t waste it.
Luo Qianqian strongly agreed, being a Taurus, a miserly Taurus.
She hurriedly drew out a dagger, holding it steadily, not planning to reveal her abilities with such a crowd.
Suddenly appeared a silver-gray Heaven Devouring Rat of adult cat size before them, its glass-like eyes staring at them intently.
Luo Qianqian’s eyes brightened slightly; it was a miniature version of Totoro?
She instinctively wanted to crouch down.
"You’d better not think of this creature as cute." Yan stopped her behavior: "This thing is called Heaven Devouring Rat."
