Chapter 2032: Chapter 2032: A Piece of Cake

Celestial Master Zhang sat up in the tree, eyes wide open, wanting to see what the Weirdo was doing.

After the Weirdo settled against the tree trunk, he put down the rabbit from his mouth. The wolf beside him watched eagerly. Just as Celestial Master Zhang was wondering what he wanted to do, suddenly, the Weirdo moved quickly, biting the rabbit’s throat. When he raised his head again, his mouth was full of fresh blood.

He repeated this action several times, finally leaning against the tree trunk, satisfied, with a mouthful of blood. He said, "Xiao Hei, I’m full. You can have it now!"

"Awoo!"

Receiving the command, the wolf joyfully ran over and grabbed the rabbit with its mouth to enjoy it nearby.

Celestial Master Zhang watched with all his hairs standing on end, realizing the Weirdo and the wolf were sharing the rabbit—one drinking blood, the other eating flesh.

He was really afraid of becoming food for them too.

"Brother, hungry, huh? Want me to catch a rabbit for you?" After eating and drinking, the Weirdo seemed to be in good spirits and looked up at Celestial Master Zhang in the tree, asking.

"No, no, I’m not hungry, thank you." As soon as Celestial Master Zhang spoke, his stomach let out a gurgling sound, and he couldn’t help but swallow and touched his belly.

Last night, due to excessive fright, he hadn’t eaten much, and along with a sleepless night, he was now extremely hungry.

The Weirdo laughed and said, "Your stomach’s growling and you say you’re not hungry?"

At these words, Celestial Master Zhang was startled. The place where he was sitting was at least five or six meters from the ground, and his stomach noise wasn’t loud, yet the Weirdo heard it, indicating he was no ordinary person—surely a martial world master.

Indeed, a person without arms or legs could survive in the Deep Mountains and Ancient Forests, proving he had true abilities. Otherwise, he would have long been devoured by the beasts.

Celestial Master Zhang wanted to test him further: "Whose stomach is growling? It must be yours. Drinking blood without any food, hunger is inevitable!"

"Brother really loves to joke. I’ve eaten this way for decades. How could I be hungry? Besides, I heard it clearly. It was obviously your stomach growling."

As Celestial Master Zhang listened, he realized the Weirdo had lived in the forest for a long time. Despite having no arms or legs, his movements were snake-like, even faster, as if he had practiced some powerful martial arts. He continued, "We’re so far apart, how can you hear?"

The Weirdo sneered, "You call this short distance far? Don’t make me laugh. Within a hundred meters, I can hear clearly. Your distance is nothing."

The Weirdo seemed quite approachable, and Celestial Master Zhang felt a bit relieved, asking, "Since you’ve lived here for so long, can you tell me in which direction one can leave the Deep Mountains?"

"Of course." The Weirdo readily agreed.

Celestial Master Zhang was delighted, sitting up in the tree, cupping his hands, "Thanks, brother."

Feeling the danger had been lifted, Celestial Master Zhang slid down from the tree, looking at the Weirdo lying on the ground, cupping his hands and saying, "Brother, I spent last night in the forest. My family must be terribly worried. Please, help me get out."

"Why rush? Your stomach’s growling. Better eat something before you leave!"

After saying this, the Weirdo lay flat on the ground, and whoosh, shot into the grass beside him.

Celestial Master Zhang felt dazzled, realizing the Weirdo on the ground had vanished. When he reacted, he saw the grass nearby shaking endlessly, estimating the Weirdo had entered the grass. He couldn’t help but be secretly amazed. This speed rivaled his Master’s—just who was this Weirdo?
