Rebirth Swapped Bride; Married to the Ruthless Cursed Billionaire-Chapter 18: Nose bleeding
Chapter 18: Nose bleeding
The spacious room was painted in just three monotonous colours, black, white, and grey.
Besides the basic furniture, it lacked any decorative items.
It was a picture of extreme simplicity and chilliness, devoid of any warmth.
However, Camilla saw a different scene altogether.
In her eyes, the room was filled with white roses, a roaring flame, and two people laying on the bed.
A bitter pain throbbed in her heart, and gradually, her vision blurred.
As Sinclair stepped out of the bathroom, he saw a despairing sight, a beautiful lady shedding her tears as if she had witnessed some horrific scene.
It seemed that this woman wasn't fearless in the basement, rather, she had a delayed reaction, and was just reacting now.
Sinclair contemplated throwing Camilla out, but thinking of the old master waiting outside the door, he restrained himself.
He walked towards the bed with an indifferent and icy countenance.
The sound of his footsteps snapped Camilla back from her tragic vision of past life's love story.
The instant she raised her head, her pupils contracted. Sinclair had donned only black trousers for the convenience of inoculating her.
His wet, black hair was casually slicked back, with drops of water trickling down from the tips.
The droplets traced the breadth of his strong shoulders, the sturdy chest, and the clearly defined abs, before disappearing below the waistline.
Unlike his usual handsome and refined appearance, now he was exuding a lethal sexiness.
Even though in their past life, they had been as intimate as possible, seeing this body, familiar yet unfamiliar, Camilla's throat subconsciously moved.
Sinclair watched Camilla blatantly gaze at his body, a glint flashed in his dark pupils, filled with a teasing yet cold amusement.
"Have you had enough?"
"Not yet," Camilla shook her head unconsciously, but in the next instant, she reacted and quickly nodded repeatedly.
"I've seen enough, I've seen enough."
With a blush tingling her face because of her earlier gaffe, she explained awkwardly.
"I was just studying the acupoints where I'll need to do the injection later, don't misunderstand."
Sinclair didn't say whether he believed her or not. He just picked up a grey handkerchief from bedside with a cold expression, and threw it to Camilla.
"Wipe your nose." Wipe her nose? She looked at Sinclair's body, and her nose started bleeding?!
Camilla felt extremely embarrassed and immediately used the handkerchief to cover her nose.
"It's not what you're thinking.
My nose is bleeding because the weather is too dry.
Don't misunderstand..." Sinclair: .... "Tears," There was a slight smile on his lips, his expression indiscernible.
"The thing I asked you to wipe was the tears."
Camilla: !! Her movements halted abruptly, her face turning crimson yet again.
"I got sand in my eyes, I'll go wash my face first, then I'll give you acupuncture."
As she spoke, Camilla darted towards the bathroom.
Sinclair looked at Camilla's flustered slender figure, a faint smile flickering in his deep eyes.
It disappeared in an instant as if it had never existed.
When Camilla washed her face with cold water until the blush on her face was hardly noticeable, then she walked out of the bathroom.
"Get undressed," She opened the medicine box and took out the silver needles that her grandfather had left her.
"Lie down on the bed." Sinclair's eyes flickered slightly, giving Camilla a light look.
"There are also a few acupuncture points on your leg," Camilla started talking in a calm voice devoid of any emotion, but the nervousness was hard to hide in her beautiful eyes. Camilla:!!
Her movements halted abruptly, her face flushed once again.
"I've got sand in my eyes, I need to wash my face first, then I'll start with the acupuncture."
Speaking between the lines, Camilla quickly scampered towards the bathroom.
Looking at the hurry, frail back of Camilla, a faint trace of amusement flickered in the depths of Sinclair's eyes.
In a blink, it was gone, as if it had never been there.
Camilla washed her face with cold water, waited for the redness on her face to fade, and only then emerged from the bathroom.
"Put down your Zip," She opened the medicine box and took out the silver needles her grandfather had left her.
"Lay down on the bed." Sinclair's eyes fluttered slightly, gazing softly at Camilla.
"There are also a few acupuncture points on your leg."
Camilla tried to talk in an indifferent tone that carried no emotions, however, the nervousness in her beautiful eyes couldn't be hidden.
"Do you not understand the principle of 'a patient will not rebuff the doctor'?"
Sinclair suddenly wanted to tease her.
"Don't worry," He stood up, placing a hand on his belt.
"You are my wife, regardless of whether I dodge doctors or not, I will never avoid you."
You are my wife.
Camilla's heart trembled. The sensation of hearing these words was completely different in this life compared to her past life.
Isn't this the difference between being loved and not being loved? At this moment, in the living room.
"Camilla," grandpa Luther looked towards Ramsey.
"How did Camilla manage to restore Sinclair's sanity in such a short time?"
Both Uncle Carlos and Joshua also looked at Ramsey with curiosity.
